Revolutionary measure that, if implemented properly, is the future.
Everyone should be free to say no, be free to think, to live, without fear of marginalization and starvation.
Problem is, our current, feudal system (and thus feudal mentality) is deeply dependant on exploiting permanent flow of incredibly desperate people. Can we fix this disgusting mess without crashing everything?

Despite what you say all of these so called workers that you feel will loose interest in work if they were to receive this income most likely haven't realized that their already being replaced what then is the plan & solution of action what bring manufacturing back 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 okay then so you haven't heard that they've got automation plans for that to & basically when it all kicks in & more & more are ending up unemployed who then do propose they will higher with no jobs available due to automation to help pay the basic citizens income since you've made this your sole concern

The economy is circular. It's how you distribute wealth that makes it rotate faster.

If a basic income didn’t require people to work, there wouldn’t be enough wealth generated to supply that basic income

People would still need to work. It may even be more likely to activate people who don't usually work, or allow people to start micro-businesses while they work regular jobs. Theoretically you might be able to "live" off the basic income, but to have anything other than your rent and very cheap supermarket food, you would have to have some kind of employment. In most cases, it wouldn't even cover the basics, requiring people to have some kind of job to make up the minimum living requirements.
People like cars, holidays, cinema, eating out, drinking, smoking, need drugs for illnesses, cosmetics, various tech etc... They also have various bills like water, power and council tax. Do you really still believe in your statement?

Mr. Manifesto But it's not a new idea; some countries do this and countries that have it find it actually does work.

Katie Stolealltheunicorns I assume the only countries who do this have very small populations and large amounts of nature resources. Like in Alaska they have a minimum basic income, but they have very few people and a large oil industry

I am still trying to figure out what good £64/week would be. It would be fine, if one were living in the Balkans, but in the UK?
