Your restored and upgraded Bowlus Road Chief travel trailer is a remarkable home-away-from-home delight! Thank you for sharing the original and upgraded products, materials, and expert craftsmanship. We appreciate you showing us how the manufacturer and your craftsmen removed any potential hazards to the trailer by systems, weather, age, and harm. Though the Bolus is near-antique, it is structurally safe, and aesthetically pleasing to see, and no doubt, touch. The Bolus travel trailers are now my next investigation for ownership. Best wishes for happy days in your uniquely-built Bowlus Road Chief!

That is a superb job! I understand that those are pretty scarce. We had an unrestored 1936 Bolus - Teller here in El Paso, TX. A Japanese bought it and shipped it to his homeland.

Looks great so far! Loving all the custom work and shiny aluminum kitchen cabinetry. It goes so well with the walnut panels. Can't wait for the finish tour. I'm a huge fan of Flyte Camp's work because I love vintage camper trailers.

That tail end is just over the top! Amazing woodwork, but I think I would have trouble in the kitchen; it would be like cooking in a house of mirrors! LOL!

Do you still show your rehab process. I don't see you show on TV anymore. I miss it.

Concerning the opening rear windows...didn't the 1936 mid-kitchen Bowlus trailers have opening porthole windows above the kitchen area? Could these be the same windows, just in a different location on the trailer?

    Is there a bathroom ?
    I ask because I own a 2105
    Love it
But I am not into letting anyone use bathroom as I don’t wanna deal w it
Wondering if that’s your plan ?

Show it after it's been out on the road, covered in road grime, and having to clean all that metal. The kitchen draws are noisy. I'm definitely not a fan and can understand why they went out of business.
