wtf is colin talking about? "Ant needs a pippen for when he has bad shooting nights", except that's exactly what Ant had in Game 7 - KAT dropped 23 points and so did McDaniels... So Ant has plenty of "pippens"... A ":pippen" is just a guy that can get about 20, not 25 or 30... A "pippen" is a secondary producer, not an elite producer

There will never be another dynasty unless you pair the 2 best players in the league on the same team. Outside of maybe 3-4 teams, every NBA starter is collectively so much more talented compared to 15 years ago. You cant carry a team on your own anymore.

Joker didn’t “evaporate” in the second half. He was gassed though and his efficiency was affected...
Kat didn’t play poorly, I don’t think. He hit timely shots. 23 points on 14 shots is alright. Kat’s dependability and consistency in big moments is a question mark moving forward though...

Jokic carried the Nuggets, 35 PTs, 19 RBs, 7 As! They need to add some help with another physical big man inside. Yesterday, MN got 30 Free Throws - Nuggets 16. MN was allowed to throw elbows all 7 games, Nuggets got fouls for breathing. Don't tell me about Edwards who shot 25%, his teammates gave him a Heimlich Maneuver to keep Edwards alive lol...

The thing is, there is NO DYNASTY any more - no single team has more than 20% chance of winning the championship any given season. Who has some chance to win next season?? Celtics, Wolves, Nuggets, Bucks, Knicks, 76ers, Mavs, Thunder, Clips - that’s nine teams already!! Plus Pacers, Pelicans, Kings, Suns, and even Warriors, Heat ?!? Come on now you wouldn’t be shocked if any one of 15 teams won the whole thing. There is no dynasty. A repeat is almost an impossibility.

    • @gbmbg114

The warriors just got off of one.. they don’t just hand out dynasties like M&M’s.. they’re special.. stars align and it takes a unique superstar/coach combo to take the responsibility of cultivating a dynasty.. usually the central guy kinda manages the team with authority from the HC..
I don’t see that from Jokic.. I think he has the talent, but honestly, I think he’d need to dig in and live and breathe it year-round.. you have to WANT it and that desire needs to be palpable.. “I’m cool with it” after a 45-pt loss in game 6 is not palpable desire to my eye..
I’m not saying this to hate on him.. It’s always fun when anyone achieves that level, so I’d love to see it.. but desire-wise, I see current players kinda like: ant has some fire, so we’ll see (hard to tell until after you win one).. Luka *might*.. he gives more “middle finger” energy lol.. OKC will be interesting to watch develop.. or it could be one we don’t see coming.. but dynasties are far from over..

What went wrong... no one was hitting any shots the whole playoffs xD Jokic was the only consistent performer and even he couldnt shoot the 3 these playoffs... the Lakers should already have eliminated them but the Lakers collapsed in the second half for some reason... Nuggets roster is too thin so no one can compensate for those inconsistencies in the starting lineup.
