- The Intouchables (French: Intouchables [ɛ̃tuˈʃabl(ə)], UK: Untouchable) is a 2011 French comedy-drama film directed by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano. Nine weeks after its release in France on 2 November 2011, it became the second biggest box office hit in France, just behind the 2008 film Welcome to the Sticks and selling nearly three times as many tickets worldwide as The Artist. The film was voted the cultural event of 2011 in France with 52% of votes in a poll by Fnac.

I'm german and this is the second time I read this from a fench (?) guy, I say there are many very good unique movies with Depardieu or Alan Chabat, of Course Reno, but I like some little movies kind of independent. I listen to the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, lot of Soul like Wilson Pickett and and... but I also love f.a. the Soundtrack of Quand j’étais chanteur with Depardieu singing, I got the CD 😀

I had watched the American version of this story, but having watched this French version today, I cried at the end... Omar Dy is formidable, as is Cluzet! I still have tears - a mixture of sad and happy ones - rolling down my face as I write these words... This is the sweetest story told in the sweetest manner and by superb actors! 💕💕💕💕💕

Is there anyone who spends every new year and every birthday alone? Who never made any real friends? Cette chanson arrive à m'émouvoir à un point ... Incroyable. Elle me fait penser à ma vie, ma famille, mes amis. Ma famille va mal, des conflits, dépression pour ma père, maladie pour mon père. Moi je suis là, j'ai 14 ans, et j'ai l'impression d'en avoir 30 de plus. Personne n'arrive à comprendre ce que je ressens ni ce que je pense. J'ai surtout l'impression que tout le monde s'en fiche. Alors j'écoute ce style de musique, même si je sais qu'en fait, ça ne sert pas à grand chose. Juste à ressentir. Écouter et jouer de la musique, ainsi que chanter sont les 3 choses que j'aime le plus dans la vie. C'est la seule chose qui me permet de dire ce que je ressens sans vraiment le dire. Enfin bref, j'écris ça ici, même si tout le monde s'en fou. C'est juste que ça me fait du bien. Cette musique me fait du bien. Une des plus belles du monde pour moi.

@@sousou-yh3mf Relire Mon commentaire me fait très bizarre car j’ai 20 ans maintenant. Toujours la même passion pour la musique même si je n’en joue quasiment plus. J’ai fait de la dépression, comme ma mère, pendant des années, j’en fais toujours, cependant je suis soutenue par mes amis. Mais le sentiment profond n’a pas changé … je crois que quand on naît dans un foyer aussi bancal on peut difficilement y échapper. Par contre on peut choisir de garder espoir pour la suite. Il y a peu seulement j’ai réalisé que moi même je pouvais être toxique pour moi, donc j’essaie de faire des efforts pour ne plus l’être. Je ne vis plus chez mes parents, ça m’aide beaucoup, mais je place tous mes besoins affectifs sur les épaules de mon copain, ce qui n’est pas la solution … je suis loin d’avoir trouvé le bonheur parfait, même si je me sens mieux seule maintenant.
Au contraire la musique aide à s'évader, j'espère que depuis ses 6 ans , tout se passe bien pour vous!!

Not enough words can explain the feeling this movie and the music in it give me.. It's like sitting in front of the fireplace on a rainy day drinking hot cocoa, or watching the clear night sky on a summer night.. Perhaps even the cry of a newborn child brought to the light of a journey we call 'life' for the first time.. Faith in humanity? Restored out of this masterpiece! Earned my admiration for sure! :]

I felt emotional moved by this film. It really left me shaking and crying. It truly remind me that some things in life are very real and are also very rare. The soundtrack just added to the movie. It brought your emotion right where it needed to be. Moved your heart with your eyes all at the same time. This reminded me of the most beautiful things in life. The simple things. It put you where these people felt. It made you realize that people have problems, and no matter how different you are from one another you can still find things that make you click like no other. These are the things that help you grow. They help you walk in someone else's shoes. They will help you love and care.

What a moving soundtrack for such a moving film! I love how two different people cross paths and they get so close despite their differences becoming the piece that each other needed in their lives. The inner growth they experiment together is just so lovely.

Souvent je la joue au piano et a ces moments je ne suis plus sur terre je regarde autour de moi et me sens libre et invisible au yeux des gens et ce qu’il y a de plus beau le devient encore plus. First time I saw this movie was when I was 6 , my family and I went to the cinema and looked for a movie to watch I wanted to watch something I don’t know what anymore , but the point is my father said let’s watch this film , I really didn’t wanted to watch it first but when the movie ended , I wished that I could capture this beautiful moment forever. I loved it , it was amazing .

so at the age of 6 you saw people swearing, more importantly hearing references of sexual acts, like orgasm by ear...wow. I hink it's an amazing film. never would think it's appropriate for young viewers though.

I adore French films they capture human character like no other culture, embellish our quirks, keep you guessing and make you laugh and cry at the same time. This film and the soundtrack give me goosebumps every time. The relationship they have is incredibly special it's just beautiful. The acting just brilliant.
