Have missed B&N since Clybourn and the Gold Coast locations closed down during the pandemic. The only location left is at The Loop Depaul campus on Jackson and State.
This is also where the Dom's Market used to be that suddenly closed down last month btw.

I feel bad for Starbucks though. We know how "those" people love their lattes and flip flops. LOL!!

A book store should be pretty much immune from smash & grab, looting, and organized gang theft in ChiCongo.

A brick and mortar book store? Love this! Would love to see this as a trend. Fortunately, I live in a community in Chicago that boasts several independent booksellers.

Well at least this type of retail establishment will be safe from inner-city theft. That demographic has always been known to not partake in literacy too much (reading and writing). Even the continent they came from NEVER developed their own system of reading 📖 and writing ✍️ .

This is 100% true. And when they try to write (rap) they just misspell everything like for example “hunnids”.

Who care? Nice that you offered free advertisement, for a million dollar company. I go to GoodWill or Half priced books

B&N is the only physical book store some people have access to. That's my case because all the local book stores closed down

@@ramencurry6672 What? I have a B&N in Skokie just up the street from a half priced books and across the street from a GoodWill. Why would I go and visit, I just voiced my opinion about how I wouldn’t go there.💀
