I’m a long time follower first time commenter.. This is a real eye opener for me.. Why would someone like me or anyone who isn’t as advanced at macros and programming even bother participating is the question I am asking myself.. In my opinion, while this pet was awarded possibly by mistake based on the rules and may devalue the pet a little bit based on rarity, I think the real value is in the work that you put in to try and win it and based on that, you and the clan deserve it just as much as anyone as weird as that may sound being the runners up.. Computers and programs don’t have a life and can repeat things 24/7 without getting tired and don’t need to earn a living or be educated etc.. I actually see that pet as a reward for effort and who ever is lucky enough to get it, I hope they see it that way.. I think there will be a lot of players that will turn away from clan battles now which is a shame because there could be a lot of good in it.. I kind of feel for the devs too because it becomes like an arms race in a way 🤔
Goop has to be disqualified at some point. They’ve taken the chances away from other clans to win the battle, And get annoyed when the 2nd place clan also gets the shark.

So many valid points in this video. I think its just frustrating for those of us who put in the real effort to do quests (the right way) just see the macro users rush to the finish line and get rewarded for basically doing nothing. And like you said, it really isn't against the rules or "cheating"....its basically being lazy but yet reaping the rewards. haha which actually sounds GREAT but at the same time I'd like to truly earn my win and know that it was a fair fight for all.
Firstly, thanks for the awesome video and sticking up for the people playing the game fair, you earned a new sub. Secondly, what happened to 'botting' being a term. This is directly botting and will get you banned in any other games. Public API is great for ethical testing and proper use. This is an unfair advantage in game financially and event wise though. As someone that scored the most points in the first ever clan battle (150k) and has never use scripts. You can have elite players but you are gonna actually have to have dedicated grinders that would be there 24/7 to be able to compete with goop. You can have all the shiny titanics but if you aint a grinder you'd still fall behind.
honestly, i knew they were using macros, it didn't take me that long to notice something was up. As a clan owner myself, i actually considered hiring someone to make a macro for my clan, as it was the only way we had a chance to compete. In the end I decided not to, and put my trust on the devs to make this fair.

Purplunicornsss I don't quite understand what the difference is between "super macros" and scripts. Once I fully understand the differences I'll be able to form a proper opinion. But as of right now the evidence that goop is "playing" the game unfairly is pretty damning.
A macro is just an automated task. A super macro is just automating tasks to do many different things (do coin jars, comets, hatch, etc when the clan quests says too). A script is something the messes with game side code to do what you want. Basically if a program is doing something on the server side it’s a script. If it’s automating without doing anything server side it’s a macro.

Hey Fox my clan and I tried really hard to get top 10 I personally got around 40k points for my team and we all feel so deflated that these quest battles are dominated by "super macro" users. In my honest opinion there is no difference between a "super macro" and a bot. When you start adding intelligence to these macros beyond replaying copied keystrokes over and over again, then in my eyes its no longer a macro and has become a bot. Super macros shouldn't be allowed during clan wars at all, it's discouraging for other clans, no point in competing if you do not stand a chance anyways, normal auto clicker and tiny task is ok to stop you from disconnecting. There is a lot for Devs to fix in the game to keep players in, numbers are falling

In my own opinion i think the GOOP clan needs to be punished or disqualified in some way. Using scrips, macros, or any kinds of hacks should totally lead to disqualification. Now, i don’t think it should lead to ban of games or things like that, but it shouldn’t be allowed in clans making it unfair for the people who actually grind to win. I remember in the Christmas clan battles where the group clan gathered in a trading plaza, and won the clan battle as a family, and how we all felt happy for them since they beat DOLA. But now, most of these clans don’t even care about who is with them or how much it takes, they just exploit their way to the top. And it’s really sad to see a bag family of probably high schoolers cheating in a game meant for 10 year olds. You have a good point, they should either make it a gamepass or make it a very high tier ability so p2w/f2p can get it. I dont think Goop deserved that win plus you came back crazy with 12k points and they saying you did nothing while their using super macros. i myself has only bought 2 gamepasses and thats V.I.P and auto farm which i dont think is crazy that you would call me p2w. But back in the Christmas battles i remember goop all gathered in the trading plaza and just won and opened their huge and celebrated that was fun but now its just noone cares about the glory of winning its just for the pets and rewards. The fact the script in the beginning even had a little message saying on how it'll run for as long as you have it on, especially how it reconnects when the user gets disconnected is just crazy. They really make a computer play for them and instead, they don't actually work for the reward.

The day miss use or bad behavior gets rewarded, then we are on a wrong track. 🙂 I gonna enjoy the game regardless what these exploiters of the rules that do not Play the game. As it is their own loss and they are biting them self in the tale as they effect the game growth and development. Thanks to players like them and other who exploit or scam, the Big Game Dev team must use more time closing the loop holes rather to use their time to develop the game. Anyhow, it is a great game, so I do enjoy it. 🙂 It even give popcorn time for all on the side line to see the drama. Happy playing all.
My thoughts about this situation are that if the devs can’t fix it, then atleast add a afk feature just like nightfoxx said about pet catchers, and maybe just for it to be a little more challenging add some quests for afk time for example if you break 500 breakables you get a hour that stays forever until you use it, then you can stack 24 hours by doing 25 mid quests so that the game can be fun and so can clan battles. -themanofmendude
That super macro is pretty amazing! After grinding those quests, it is pretty frustrating to see there is another option out there to do it for you. I don't have the computer skills, but more power to people who do! I will just keep trying my best by grinding the old fashioned way. AmazingSara4 I like the idea of equally distributing the huges between the top 10 clans as it helps bring more incentive for the clans. As for the Goop clan, I feel like the devs could make it clearer as to how much of a super macro can be used and maybe that clan quest battles are too draining for players.
I'm fully behind the idea that automated gameplay should be considered botting and goes beyond the standard auto-clicker/macros which require user input to still control and initiate. Personally I could do without either and it's wild that reasonable session lengths are not enforced by Roblox as humans cannot literally maintain 24/7 gameplay and only boosts the incentive for scripts and bot farms which makes playing pointless when you know you can't compete even when awake and not AFK. I think the clan battle should be something simple like the hatch huge ones there was no drama about that but I hope that big games start to comunicate more with the comunity about stuff like this
As a member of a top 20 clan, I completely disapprove of the methods GOOP uses to constantly come first. My clan and I grind for hours on end and while it's a legal loophole, it's completely immoral and needs to be addressed by BIG Games. While I like the ideas you presented, I feel they also need to shut down access to any APIs to help level the playing field. Hoping for some good decisions with tomorrow's update. P.S. Go Birds!
These clan wars are very competitive and interesting on how teams find loopholes that big games should fix. Luke how Nightfoxx said maybe big games should have a game pass like pet catchers had.

These clan battles are so high stakes and crazy because of only 1 clan getting the huge, I think it would really remove most of the tension from the clan battle but still leave a competitive fight for top 1 for the rainbow huge.

I don't really think the gamepass idea would be good. It would simply make the gap between P2W and F2P players even bigger. Well spoken. Should totally do a Rainbow, Gold, Normal huges for different clan leaderboard ranks. Would preserve the value, still making the top 1 huge very rare. They should also add a super afk similiar to that macro for players WHO ARE ON the leaderboard. So basically if you get to the leaderboard on any spot, you unlock the ability to use this afk clan farm. As much as I wish clans where fair and nobody used macros, if GOOP is gonna, then this is the right thing to do.

It's honestly unfair for the GOOP clan to be allowed to use that funky super macro they coded themselves, like props to them for being cool coders, but it's so rigged that the dev's gave the green card. Clans are supposed to be about communities putting in the grind to come to the top, teamwork, and dedication, but instead it's just turning into a mess of coders coming in to ruin it. Clans shouldn't even be able to use during battles because it's literally no one putting effort or care into the clan, it's just getting AI to put in the time for them. You shouldn't get 1st place in a race if you didn't even run in it. I thank those who put actual effort into clan battles, it might not be much coming from a little baby clan that I run (ACAG), but from us to you NightFoxx, you really do make pet sim a better game. 💖💖

I’m in the clan that finished 4th, and we kinda knew we weren’t getting first, but it’s still something you strive for, ya know? Whether or not super macros are “illegal”, it still seems very much like cheating, and it’s sickening to watch my clan and others grind their butts off for weeks to not ever truly have a fair chance for first. What I hate the most about Big Games is that they are not listening to casual players. Only Popular youtubers have any saying in any matter. Most of the time the casual players are the first to find something is wrong with the game but even if they try to contact devs directly, they are getting ignored most of the time. But when a popular youtuber, sometimes even weeks later, says the same thing, then devs are like "Say no more! Assemble the devs!...". This is the main cause of why there are so many problems in the game. Most of the popular youtubers are not even nearly as experienced in the game as the casual players because for one - they are spending time making videos rather than spending 12h a day staring in the game.
Clan wars consists of mainly people who know how to code now. They do all that to beat the system and it looks like it’s not stopping anytime soon. All this drama is affecting the game every update and it hurts to see the game gets less and less players cause of this. -bozzkii

In my opinion, goop should be given a warning and them to edit the rules and say no super macros only simple ones like tiny task or auto clicker. They should keep the huge pixel shark for the boss clan because it would be kinda unfair if they just removed it. Maybe make it so top 3 get the huge instead of 1st. 10 would be a bit too much so I say top 5 at max. Then everyone gets the huge. 1st place should get the huge as well as another bonus one that is not just for that clan but all. I would like to know how you setup the monitoring of the quests for the clan! I tried googling it but nothing in my search is coming up. Is it a Mod or a Discord monitoring thing? Just wanting to know how to see where everyone stands in the Wars. Also I agree it's silly to have a War when it's Computer vs. Normal humans... Not everyone on PS99 has a computer to be able to do the AHK. Love the idea of them trying to add the AFK options.

Simple fix really…. Big Games disable the API’s for Clan Quests - that’s what I assume is driving their implementation of AHK. No API, no ability to automate for Clan Wars :-).

Wow, I just started playing about a week and a half ago and was excited for clan battles. Not anymore XD Thanks for this deep dive.
The fact the script in the beginning even had a little message saying on how it'll run for as long as you have it on, especially how it reconnects when the user gets disconnected is just crazy. They really make a computer play for them and instead, they don't actually work for the reward.

These quest battles are dominated by "super macro" users. In my honest opinion there is no difference between a "super macro" and a bot. When you start adding intelligence to these macros beyond replaying copied keystrokes over and over again, then in my eyes its no longer a macro and has become a bot. Bots are at the end of the day what destroys the economy in many games and I'd hate to see them over run pet sim. Thanks for the video!

The day miss use or bad behavior gets rewarded, then we are on a wrong track. 🙂 I gonna enjoy the game regardless what these exploiters of the rules that do not Play the game. As it is their own loss and they are biting them self in the tale as they effect the game growth and development. Thanks to players like them and other who exploit or scam, the Big Game Dev team must use more time closing the loop holes rather to use their time to develop the game. Anyhow, it is a great game, so I do enjoy it. 🙂 It even give popcorn time for all on the side line to see the drama. Happy playing all.
My thoughts about this situation are that if the devs can’t fix it, then atleast add a afk feature just like nightfoxx said about pet catchers, and maybe just for it to be a little more challenging add some quests for afk time for example if you break 500 breakables you get a hour that stays forever until you use it, then you can stack 24 hours by doing 25 mid quests so that the game can be fun and so can clan battles.

That super macro is pretty amazing! After grinding those quests, it is pretty frustrating to see there is another option out there to do it for you. I don't have the computer skills, but more power to people who do! I will just keep trying my best by grinding the old fashioned way. I am old anyway, so it suits me :)) I love the pixel shark though! JamboLamboMom

I like the idea of equally distributing the huges between the top 10 clans as it helps bring more incentive for the clans. As for the Goop clan, I feel like the devs could make it clearer as to how much of a super macro can be used and maybe that clan quest battles are too draining for players.

I'm fully behind the idea that automated gameplay should be considered botting and goes beyond the standard auto-clicker/macros which require user input to still control and initiate. Personally I could do without either and it's wild that reasonable session lengths are not enforced by Roblox as humans cannot literally maintain 24/7 gameplay and only boosts the incentive for scripts and bot farms which makes playing pointless when you know you can't compete even when awake and not AFK. Would absolutely love your Huge Shark and hope I can win it... Missed the BOSS recruiting or I might have been on your team! 🙏 Superbmyte
I think the clan battle should be something simple like the hatch huge ones there was no drama about that but I hope that big games start to comunicate more with the comunity about stuff like this
As a member of a top 20 clan, I completely disapprove of the methods GOOP uses to constantly come first. My clan and I grind for hours on end and while it's a legal loophole, it's completely immoral and needs to be addressed by BIG Games. While I like the ideas you presented, I feel they also need to shut down access to any APIs to help level the playing field. Hoping for some good decisions with tomorrow's update.

Honestly I like the idea of the top 10 clans getting the clan battle huge that was proposed. These clan battles are so high stakes and crazy because of only 1 clan getting the huge, I think it would really remove most of the tension from the clan battle but still leave a competitive fight for top 1 for the rainbow huge.

Goop literally should be either not allowed in clan battles or banned for using macros. At this point, its not even playing the game, and not fair to anyone else that dont have a super macro that they have. How are they mad that the BOSS clan got it when they did it legit, and they used super macros, if GOOP didnt, GOOP would of lost. Not to mention that BOSS clan was close to GOOP clan when BOSS was legit while GOOP was using macros.

I don't really think the gamepass idea would be good. It would simply make the gap between P2W and F2P players even bigger. However, I do believe that GOOP secretly using the super macro was unfair but it would be impossible to delete the pixel shark, as the huge would've already circulate on from the player who first received it. Well spoken. Should totally do a Rainbow, Gold, Normal huges for different clan leaderboard ranks. Would preserve the value, still making the top 1 huge very rare.
They should also add a super afk similiar to that macro for players WHO ARE ON the leaderboard. So basically if you get to the leaderboard on any spot, you unlock the ability to use this afk clan farm. As much as I wish clans where fair and nobody used macros, if GOOP is gonna, then this is the right thing to do.

It's honestly unfair for the GOOP clan to be allowed to use that funky super macro they coded themselves, like props to them for being cool coders, but it's so rigged that the dev's gave the green card. Clans are supposed to be about communities putting in the grind to come to the top, teamwork, and dedication, but instead it's just turning into a mess of coders coming in to ruin it. Clans shouldn't even be able to use during battles because it's literally no one putting effort or care into the clan, it's just getting AI to put in the time for them. You shouldn't get 1st place in a race if you didn't even run in it. I thank those who put actual effort into clan battles, it might not be much coming from a little baby clan that I run (ACAG), but from us to you NightFoxx, you really do make pet sim a better game. 💖💖

I don’t like it how goop used macros because as a fellow clan owner I have tried to do my quest and worked so hard for it but lose to top clans because they got every thing to macros to pets.

I’m in the clan that finished 4th, and we kinda knew we weren’t getting first, but it’s still something you strive for, ya know? Whether or not super macros are “illegal”, it still seems very much like cheating, and it’s sickening to watch my clan and others grind their butts off for weeks to not ever truly have a fair chance for first. That being said I couldn’t be prouder of my clan and all the others with members who went into hardcore grind mode day and night for this battle.

It’s frustrating for the people that don’t have pcs to play on. I know a lot of people that have to play on mobile. Can’t use a super macro on mobile. If they continue to allow this macro the player count will continue to drop tremendously. Love your vids! Wingnut1551

What I hate the most about Big Games is that they are not listening to casual players. Only Popular youtubers have any saying in any matter. Most of the time the casual players are the first to find something is wrong with the game but even if they try to contact devs directly, they are getting ignored most of the time. But when a popular youtuber, sometimes even weeks later, says the same thing, then devs are like "Say no more! Assemble the devs!...". This is the main cause of why there are so many problems in the game. Most of the popular youtubers are not even nearly as experienced in the game as the casual players because for one - they are spending time making videos rather than spending 12h a day staring in the game.
Clan wars consists of mainly people who know how to code now. They do all that to beat the system and it looks like it’s not stopping anytime soon. All this drama is affecting the game every update and it hurts to see the game gets less and less players cause of this.

In my opinion, goop should be given a warning and them to edit the rules and say no super macros only simple ones like tiny task or auto clicker. They should keep the huge pixel shark for the boss clan because it would be kinda unfair if they just removed it. Maybe make it so top 3 get the huge instead of 1st. 10 would be a bit too much so I say top 5 at max. Then everyone gets the huge. 1st place should get the huge as well as another bonus one that is not just for that clan but all. Yes it is less rare that way but in a heads up you get 2 huges instead of one.

I would like to know how you setup the monitoring of the quests for the clan! I tried googling it but nothing in my search is coming up. Is it a Mod or a Discord monitoring thing? Just wanting to know how to see where everyone stands in the Wars. Also I agree it's silly to have a War when it's Computer vs. Normal humans... Not everyone on PS99 has a computer to be able to do the AHK. Love the idea of them trying to add the AFK options.

2.Not allow macros in the first place vor clan battles

The Goop clan will end up desqualified from the clan battles at some point, it is not Fair for the other clans that dont use scripts, it is almost a guaranteed huge for the Goop clan.

Simple fix really…. Big Games disable the API’s for Clan Quests - that’s what I assume is driving their implementation of AHK. No API, no ability to automate for Clan Wars :-).
I also commented in the twitter post where you said that goop was using the macro. Clan wars is about putting effort and hard work with a team not let a computer do it for you. -gtrafb

I'm subbed and this would be game changing. I've also been scammed out of 2 huges now.
As a full time mobile player who made almost 16k pointd this last battle, this is sad to see. And I'm low key jealous. But this is really unfair and makes me not even want to do these battles anymore. Because what's the point if your clan doesn't have a chance.
Future prizes should be:
1st: Rainbow
2nd: Shiny
3rd: Gold
4th-10th: Normal

Agree they should give the huge to top 10. I don't want it to be illegal to use makros in general, I kind of need it since I don't want to do the fishing myself 🙊. But it shouldn't be allowed in the clan wars, what's the point in winning if you did nothing yourself.
not fairrrrrr! My clan Fab1 Just disbanded and made a new clan and if everyone uses scripts, we have no chance to even get to top 100! (Yeah, the clan is recruiting more members, we made it to top 500 last year, if u wanna join ask me req😘)

I am completely with you on this, I hate when people use unethical methods just to be ahead of everyone else and get something that they may not even use anyway. I think that it would be best to just remove the scripted macro they have and follow in the idea of Pet Catchers with the AFK grinder so that its avaliable to everybody.
