As a viewer/vod-watcher, I'd much prefer RUclips over Twitch. The ability to just go back to a certain point in the stream is so convenient. There's also the timestamp heroes on the RUclips VODs that do a great job of putting up the timestamps on the comments after the stream has ended. I feel like RUclips is more for the viewers, while Twitch is more for the streamers.

I've just started to try youtube live streaming, and honestly, it's much better for people just starting out.
I've actually had people show up in my stream and interact. I've streamed 5 times so far and I think pretty much every single time I've had someone interacting and joining in on the fun. A couple years ago I streamed various games on twitch for 3 months every day, and I had no interaction at all.
When you're a big player, twitch seems like a good place to be. But as a nobody? RUclips has been a place where I at least have a chance

@AkankshaAnand12 From my brief time doing this, I would say yes. However, you need to also post other kinds of content in order to grow. Growing from livestreams in general is tough. I'm only starting out so take this with a grain of salt.

If you have people finding you from elsewhere, such as ig or something, Twitch is great. But if you don't, RUclips is better because it helps people find smaller content creators more easily I think. I randomly tuned into a super random livestream on RUclips recently that was a couple just talking to chat and fixing their car, 15 of us were there. I definitely wouldn't have found them on Twitch.

Twitch is just waayyy better for streamers. RUclips is only good for video makers of influencers who make viral content & Sykkuno’s videos almost never go viral so he doesn’t fit that category, he’s a stable streamer instead of a viral content creator so Twitch is better for him for sure. The only times he has ever went viral is Among us days & that was because of Toast & his being part of OTV & friends or his early GTA RP days which was because of XQC, other then that he never went viral on his own.

why can’t he be honest?? And what even is his point about “friends” raiding and how many of them are in a platform, clearly he’s scared of falling off and wants easier acces to exposure, growth, or basically clout.
But, it’s too late he’s obviously falling off already and the decline is actually unbelievable he used to be as big as Hasan & Lirik... People argue he’s not pushing for growth & new viewers but... stream-hours and more live-streams in general, beat that by a lot... viewers want that more than a variety of content but they get it every 3 days to 1 week which his friends does. Sykkuno streams a lot & a lot of entertaining games but clearly the viewers outgrew him very fast he even talked about before how some of his most passionate viewers would leave heartfelt messages & claim how loyal they are but one day when he rechecks they haven’t watched him for months.
Sykkuno is known, but he is not the type to be enjoyed for a long time by the majority. His humour is the most repetetive and he laughs for the smallest reasons which might stem from a mental disorder spectrum a little similar to xQc & AngryGinge these explains why he’s not as big as those 10k-20k andys anymore...

I mean, I was a huge fan from 2020 onwards until he moved to RUclips. His schedule changed a bit, and mine did as well, so that made tuning in tough. Between that and constantly not getting the notification that he was live, despite having them turned on, I continually missed the streams.
He's also changed a bit since those days, plus Among Us faded out, and that's what got me into watching him to begin with, along with Rust. All of that combined is why I stopped watching, but now that he's back on Twitch, I'm finally notified that he's live, which helps a lot.
Unfortunately, I think a large chunk of his viewership was around because of Corpse Husband always playing games with him, as people loved seeing them interact, along with the fact that he was sweeter toward his friends back then. He was very humble at the beginning of his streaming career, and constantly lifted up his friends, which was a quality that a lot of people really wanted to be more like. He's always trolled around, but then I think that eventually, trolling began dominating his personality, so the viewers that liked when he used to be sweeter gravitated to other streamers. Someone even said in another thread somewhere that he changed so much that they felt like they were fooled into believing he was something that he wasn't, I personally think he genuinely just changed as a person, as people do.
I still think he's doing well for himself as a streamer. Plus if he's still making the same amount of money when Twitch leaked it, he'll be just fine.
