Imo, they did that on purpose because they knew ballroom is his forté.

So why do they give ballroom dances to meryl?? she's got foxtrot, tango, argentine tango, vienniese waltz.. and the scores?? 10's!Scores for latin: Cha cha cha, samba, rumba 9's. So par to charlie. except meryl had the packages more dramatic then charlies. charlies packages were always made to look uninteresting. Charlie is the celeb with most complaints, and yet he faces it with a smile. He's a true champion.

Yes, he is. : ) Skating ballroom, they each have a lot of their own choreography. Charlie lifts and Meryl gets lifted, for example. They come at it from different directions. I personally think Charlie would've ROCKED ballroom. lol!

These two were just great, so glad they are now friends forever. I hope the opportunity for another shared project comes their way, maybe on the ice. I was sure that at the end of their freestyle I would be saying "Holy mother of Agnes De Mille!" That's how much I respect Sharna's skills after seeing this season. What happened to them was so unfair; it's a shame that excellence without personal baggage is of so little value to the viewing public.
