Due to how the ghost keeps hunting and breaking stuff, I always create a church with a graveyard once one of my Sims dies, and then I have a place for all my dead Sims, so I can visit them whenever I want to and make sure their ghost don't disappear 😅🤣🤣
You could include a storyline with William and Charles decide to enlist and move onto a different lot to simulate leaving for war. During this time Mary and Margret (with all the kids) end up living together to save money or one of the houses could be "converted" to a hospital - which is why William enlists as a doctor. That way you can still have the romance between the two girls while the lads are off at war and when they return the girls have to go back to how they were in the 30s
I know it’s late but if Ginger gets sick again you can buy wellness treats from the vet I think it’s either 50-150 simoleons and it treats all the diseases :)
my great grandmother who was born in 1922, had a colourful bathroom so this has brought back so many memories for me, she died a couple months ago. also my grandad, one of her eight children who was born in 1941. also has a pink bathroom with a carpet. he most likely grew up with it, and put it in his home when he moved out. Its great watching these as my great Nana and her family probably relate to this, even though we are all British its a little similar. i cant wait for to watch the 1960s as its my favourite era. i also cant wait to watch the 1970s and 1980s as my dad was born in 1970 and he lived his teen years in 1980s, i guess they could be a little similar. aswell as watching 1990s as my mum was a teenager then, my dad was in his 20s then aswell. also really looking forward to watching the 2000s and 2010s as thats my childhood, as i was born in march 2006.
I will miss Waddaya Know... It was a very good theme for the 1930's! Thank you very much for not going with the linoleum flooring everywhere! I am learning a whole lot about the 40's! EDIT: Poor Ginger ;-; Cone of shame
They can eat all kinds of stuff from a garden. They will be thrilled. Corn on the cob. Green beans tomatoes yay! They will be happy ! William can find a new job. They won’t be bored anymore!
Binge watching the series. Loving it so far, especially since I don't have anyway of playing TS4 so in a weird way I feel like I'm playing it too by watching this.
I feel like Margaret never wanted the traditional life. She’s probably bored because she never wanted to be a mom secretly and she obviously wants to be with Mary instead. Too bad she was born in the wrong decade 😢
Women joined the work force en mass with the start of ww2 - it was part of the war effort at home and was seen as patriotic for women to join the WAC (Women's army corps) and the navy which I believe was called the WAVES, as well as thr nursing sisters and other jobs such as in munitions factories. Many of them were not happy about being forced back into the home when their men came home. Also I really find it odd that washers and dryers were introduced during thr 1940s in this challenge when they really came into popularity with the mass consumerism that came with thr 1950s. I studied women's homefront efforts during ww2 for my MA haha if you couldnt tell
Don't be sorry 😊most of my cc you can find on my Pinterest, seejengame. I am working very very hard on a website that will have all the mods and cc I use on it sorted by decade so that you will be able to find them. I hope to have it done and finished very very soon! Thanks for watching!

Absolutely awesome series, very inspiring.
My Mom's main bathroom is pink tub & pink on the floor & around the sink tile LOL. I don't know when the house was built we moved in in 1999.
This is great, keep it up ♥
My house was built in the 1950s and the tiles in the bathroom was pink lol
Where did you get the cc you used or were going to use?

I'm in the 1930s with my challenge

Oh and my point was that is why women are forced to take a job in this challenge at thr start of this decade
Can you link the cc for each decade please? Sorry lol

Damn these sims have SCHMONEY if it’s the 1940’s
Do you have a list of where you got all your CC from?
what cc skins do you use???
Check Mary’s settings for who she is attracted to like you did Margrets.
Why do they only eat lemons?? That is not nice.
if this was based on US stuff then your sims shouldn't have gone to ww1 til towards the end cause the us didn't join till 1918.(last year of the war)
