Good, but I think Catwoman should be 1 instead of Batman and Robin. At least Batman and Robin was really funny to watch. Catwoman is just.....WHY?! Same thing with Batman and Robin, but in a way that's like, "This is horrible, yet entertaining!" Some of you may disagree, but I just feel that way.

Many people like the one (as do I) but if you count the minutes, Venom had more screen time than Goblin did in the new one. Seriously, enough with the hate on that movie.
Just because you liked it doesn't mean we can't talk about how much we didn't like it, it was legitimately bad in my opinion and many others agree with me. We shouldn't have to hide our opinions just because you don't agree with them.
I totally agree, I actually love the movie. Also, I don't think people realize that the dance Peter does is comedic, it's supposed to be stupid, and funny. When I first saw it in theaters I remember everyone laughing and having a good time.
Yes more people would have liked it if it weren't for the Emo scene, your point being what exactly? That IS still a part of the movie. It's like saying "Hey stop hating on the new Batman movie, you would have liked it if it weren't for that 5 minute scene where he was raped up the ass." Because that's what happened in Spider Man 3. They raped the character of Peter Parker.
Yeah I agree. It may not have been the best movie ever made, but I don't think it deserves the hate it gets. You're right about the emo-scene being over-emphasized and I guess that's just what happens when you have a large fan base devoted to a very particular character concept and then you break that concept. but I think Venom would work better Harry And Peter fight the Pete get the The syboyoutie almost kills Harry Feeling bad about it removes the suit It finds its way to Brock and then when he kicking Pete ass Harry come in to help him
Yeah I would have preferred to have seen that, so then pretty much the film we got but without sandman yeah? I liked the whole plot twist with him being uncle ben's killer though, maybe if they did do just venom in the third one and it was successful then maybe they could have done sandman in the fourth one.
Tasm2 was an attrocity and one of the worst superhero movies of all time and I've said why I think that way and I disagree, I didn't say tasm movies are terrible I just said the second one. I actually really liked the first ASM film and I hate tasm2 more because it is more of a clusterfuck than spider-man 3 and don't say that without giving any valid points as to why you feel that way. No need to be fucking rude by using such childish insults. Wow why do people lose their minds when someone dislikes a movie everyone loves or likes a movie everyone hates. It's a childish argument. Film is film, of course not everyone is going to like the same movie because it would just be boring.
Batman & Robin is better than half the movies on this list. At least it's watchable and fun to watch with a group of friends just to laugh at it. And Spider-Man 3 is still better than The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in my opinion.
You know what's even worse about Batman and Robin? It literally ruined the very name of the characters. Like if you ever say: ''I love Batman and Robin.'' People will most probably respond with: ''How can you like that piece of shit?'' and your'll have to say: ''No, I meant the actual comic books not the movie.''
For Batman&Robin, if you watch it as a comedy it's enjoyable. However there is no way I will ever watch Catwoman ever again. Too traumatizing for me. Man the early 2000s were not the best time for comic book movies. Thank god we had Spider-Man and X-men keeping the genre alive
The Dark Knight Trilogy are my face films of all time. My top 3 comic book films would be 1.The Dark Knight Trilogy 2.X-men (1,2,First Class,DOFP) 3.Unbreakable
The only redeeming factors of Spider-Man 3 were Thomas Hayden Church as Sandman and the fight between Peter and Harry (not Spider-Man and New Goblin). It was a great scene. The way Harry and Peter antagonized each other was awesome.
My top 3 favorite superhero movies 1. batman begins 2 x-men days of future past 3. captain America the winter solider 4. superman the movie 5. the dark knight 6. spiderman 2 7. Ironman 3 8. the avengers 9. Watchmen 10. The amazing spiderman
People keep saying it's a shame that they never made Batman 5 (triumphant) where Nicholas Cage was going to be the scarecrow, Harley Quinn was going to be in it and Jack Nicholson was going to return as the Joker (he even said he wanted to do it), even though that sounds awesome I am 100% positive that talentless moron Joel Schumacher would have found a way to ruin it.
Hey John can you do a video about your home theater set up, maybe talk about your tv and surround sound preferences. Also your recommendations on how to get the best movie immersing experience from a home theater set up. Your videos are fucking awesome man thanks!
Came over from Stuckman. You're awesome btw, am subscribed! Most of this list is pretty accurate, especially if you've seen then movie. BUT... Spiderman 3 It was the perfect distraction. I think it's because I played a lot of WoW back then and I just wanted something constantly going on. So the fact that there were so many villains thrown together so quickly was pretty normal for me. And you know I truly enjoyed Topher Grace's performance as venom. Idk why all the hate because he did exceptionally well in a role that was probably originally planned as an all CGI cameo.
There are worse movies than many on the list, but I suspect Flick Pick just hasn't seen them. Man-Thing, Steel, LXG, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, and Jonah Hex just to name a few.
I've seen the majority of all the shitty comic book movies, I know there are worst movies that exist. My method of picking the bad ones is choosing movies I actually expected something from and left the theater disappointed.
Fair point. Under those criteria, I'd have to agree with everything except Catwoman. As soon as I heard that the character would have no ties to Gotham, Selena Kyle or Batman, I expected it to be terrible. The train wreck that followed was exactly what I was expecting.
Woah great rant there mate...for me it's this: 1. Batman & Robin 2. Catwoman 3. Spider-Man 3 4. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 5. Howard the Duck 6. Ghost Rider 1 & 2 7. Elektra 8. Daredevil 9. Punisher: War Zone 10. Steel
My Personal List: 1. *Fant4stic* 2. Batman and Robin 3. Catwoman 4. Captain America (1990) 5. Elektra 6. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 7. The Fantastic Four (1994) 8. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 9. Steel 10. Superman IV: Quest for Peace
Apart from ASM 1 and 2 I agree with you. But I also seriously don't understand the hate behind it. In my opinion ASM 2 was the greatest spiderman film to date with comic book accurate characters and story lines coupled with the fantastic telling of Gwen's death.
HR TheFlameBladesWielder Gwen's death was a powerful moment, but the rest of the movie was some serious cheesy trash. Seriously, who thought up THAT Electro? It killed my hopes for a good Spiderman film series. ASM isn't that.
Top 11 Worst Comic Book Movie Superman 4 Batman And Robin Ghost Rider 2 Daredevil Fantastic Four 2 Elektra Punisher War Zone Man Thing Green Hornet Supergirl Catwoman
I, in no sane realm or reality, could ever possibly claim that Batman & Robin was a good movie. It was, in fact, a terrible movie. However, I do think it is improperly scapegoated as being the WORST comic book film of all time and I do think that Shumacher is also improperly scapegoated as being the main problem with the movie. Hell, I'd watch Batman & Robin before watching most of the films you mentioned before it. At least I can enjoy Batman & Robin for its camp value, I can't enjoy Ghost Rider, Elektra, Catwoman, Spider-Man 3 or Superman IV in any capacity. But, that's just me. I really enjoyed watching this list, thank you for another great video, John.
Here are some (dis)honorable mentions that I'd like to add: "The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen" - a movie so bad, Sean Connery quit acting all together after it was over. "Green Lantern" - (Great stars + great director) * VERY shitty script = DISASTER!!!!!! "Captain America" (1990) - To quote Marlon Brando from "Apocalypse Now ", "The horror....., the horror......"
An update of this would be rather interesting to see Honestly Punisher War Zone is nowhere near the worst comic book movies in my opinion. Sure it’s over the top and a bit cheesy but it gets the job done with being an entertaining action movie with some graphic moments, darkly hilarious laughs at parts and some element lifted straight from the comics themselves Rip Ray Stevenson, he was a great Frank Castle
If batman and robin was successful the series would have kept going. Luckily it was awful and we got Nolan's films. I actually love batman and robin. It is hilarious! I watched it with my brother recently. He had never seen it and we roasted it and laughed... A lot
Yep, the plan was to have Nic Cage play the villain Scarecrow in the third installment of the Joel Schumacher bat nipples series... Part of me wishes I could have seen that, Nicolas Cage as a Batman villain would be glorious!
theFLICKpick If they do plan on doing villains like The Joker, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow again in film, which actors would you like to see play them and how would you write them in the story?
There are others you missed, 1. Green Lantern --- the one that starred Ryan Reynolds. I hated this one the most. 2. Steel (1997) 3. Blade Trinity 4. The Phantom (1996) 5. Superman Returns 6. The Spirit 7. Hulk (2003 Ang Lee directed)
How about Thor movies being way worse than TASM2? Just an example. Those really have nothing going on. Cornier than Spiderman by a mile, no special acting, special effect and world building are not engaging, no special score. Nothing.
haha, good list. however I still think catwoman is the worst one ever. batman and robin was crap but not nearly as bad as catwoman. eventhough everyone seems to hate the Jessica Alba Fantastic four, I thought it was not bad. it was closer to the comics than you would expect (except for the Dr. Doom thing..argh..) it was mildly entertaining.
I'm going to put myself out there here: I've never really understood why "Batman & Robin" tops every worst list. In my opinion, a movie is only a "bad" movie if it falls short of what it wants to be, and "Batman & Robin" never wanted to be anything more than a flashy, colorful, camp-filled romp, and that's exactly what it was. Superman IV, on the other hand, wanted to be taken seriously as a hero's battle against the threat of nuclear arms, and that it WASN'T. To me, THAT's what defines a bad movie. People may not have WANTED a campy colorful Batman movie, but at least the makers of the film succeeded in their vision.
1. Green Lantern 2. Ghost Rider 3. Spiderman 3 4. Catwoman 5. Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles Reboot 6. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 7. Blade Trinity 8. Ang Lee's Hulk 9. Daredevil or as I call it "Why Ben Affleck Shouldn't Be Batman" 10. Fantastic Four
...Where's "Tank Girl", "Barb Wire", "Son of the Mask", "Supergirl", "Steel", "Dylan Dog: the movie", "Jonah Hex", "R.I.P.D." and "Judge Dredd"? Plus, I gotta be honest, frankly "Spider-Man 3" is better than, say, "Independence Day".
10. It looks embarrassing. Nic Cage looks ridiculous. I rather see "Not the bees" Segway any day. 09. That one sucks. 08. That one sucks. 07. Guilty pleasure and I can see Punisher can go slay and shit in every scene. 06. Too bad for this failure third film. It's HORRIFUCKUS. 05. I kind like "Spider-Man 3." Yay, it's pretty good film, sue me. 04. This one sucks. 03. This one sucks. Even Jennifer Garner can't act throughout this movie and she does show her red leather tighten outfit to be more sexualize. 02. This one sucks. A disgrace for making this Catwoman spinoff. 01. Duh duh dunnnnnn....just an awful film with a Bat Credit Card in it.
#1. TMNT 3: Turtles in Time #2. Catwoman #3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine #4. Superman Returns #5. Electra #6. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer #7. Blade: Trinity #8. Batman and Robin #9. Nick Fury: Agent of Shield #10. Any Lee's The Hulk Dishonorable Mention: The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Forever, TMNT (2007) If anybody is wondering why I don't have Ghost Rider movies, Superman 4, the 1990s Marvel Comics movies that's because I've never watched them.
amazing Spiderman 2 should of been on the list. just got done watching it and wow what a pile of shit. why did they have rhino in the movie? it was pointless.
1. How was it a pile of shit? You clearly have no idea what a shit movie is lol 2. Rhino was only in the movie to set up for the sequels, you shouldn't have expected anything else
Gary Hamill not exactly, you have yet to explain any of your reasoning, and how exactly are we butt hurt? have we insulted you in anyway? no? hmm, you're mature kid lol
10) X-Men Origins Wolverine 9) Green Lantern 8) Daredevil 7) Fantastic Four (2005) 6) Ghost Rider 5) Catwoman 4) Elektra 3) Fantastic Four (2015) 2) Batman & Robin 1) Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
1. Fant4stic 2. Electra 3. Batman and Robin 4. X-Men Origins 5. Daredevil (series is so much better) 6. Catwoman 7. Green Lantern 8. Secret Of The Ooze and 3 9. Spider-Man 3 10. Iron man 2
Howard the duck... Although its so bad its good with its surprisingly dark/mature subtext and the fact that that dark/mature subtext is put into context with him being a duck
Those people who are saying that Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of the worst comic book films ever really need to study film a bit more. The direction was great, the effects were superb, the acting on everyone's part was very impressive (the hammy acting in the Raimi trilogy made me want to vomit at times) and the highlights of the film were Gwen's death and the evolution of Spider-Man throughout the film. Is it perfect? Not at all, the villains felt fairly underdeveloped and most of the film was spoiled via the trailers. Not to mention several sub-plots that put Christopher Nolan movies to shame. But it is not in the same vein as Batman & Robin, Green Lantern, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Elektra, Judge Dredd, Catwoman etc.
I don't understand how people think that amazing spiderman 2 is bad it's not and i actually think the amazing spiderman movies are better than the original
I think the movie could have been fixed if they removed Electro and developed Harry Osborne much more instead. Harry's turn into the Green Goblin was way too sudden and his motivations for going after Gwen didn't feel right. The friendship between Peter and Harry was so interesting and it felt like they really did have history. Throwing Green Goblin in last minute was a rush attempt to set up the Sinister Six. Sure, I know removing Eletro would remove a lot of the action, as cool as it might be. However, Batman Begins took forever before seeing some real action and I thought it turned out great.
***** I think that introducing the Goblin earlier on would have worked but have him obscure his face. That way when Peter stops helping Harry, the Goblin comes after him (I like to think that the Goblin and Harry are two sides of one person). Electro could have remained in jail until the Sinister Six movie and the Goblin would have been imprisoned anyway at the end of it all. Ta-da. Neater movie, less fumbling with villains, both of them are stopped but at the expense of a friend and a girlfriend.
Yaaaaaaassss!!! Total agreement. The acting by Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone or Mary Shield alone makes it worth it. Some scenes are show stopping too. Some people just want to choose something and hate on it. It´s faaaar better than the worst films out there. And imo, it´s not worse than many of the current Marvel releases, which for some reason get away with every flaw.
sanyrub This year, Marvel have killed it at the cinema. I mean in my opinion - Captain America: The Winter Soldier = A X-Men: Days of Future Past = A- Amazing Spider-Man 2 = B+ Guardians of the Galaxy = A+ Last year Marvel fumbled with Thor 2 and failed with Iron Man 3, but now they seem to be getting their shit together with their movies and are the ones to beat. Avengers 2 will be better than the first one (maybe as good as Guardians *crosses fingers*) and Ant Man will be interesting. Frankly, my idea of a piss-poor comic book movie would be Catwoman, Batman and Robin, Superman IV, Daredevil, Ghost Rider... Amazing Spider-Man 2 is not one of those films. Fickle internet trolls will find any little hole and blow it out of proportion. They appear to have tunnel vision.
My Top 10: 10. Supergirl (1984) 9. Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance (2012) 8. The Spirit (2008) 7. Elektra (2005) 6. Steel (1997) 5. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) 4. Captain America (1990) 3. Howard the Duck (1986) 2. Batman & Robin (1997) 1. Catwoman (2004)
I just think of that movie as a bridge for the major Marvel movies, same with Iron Man and Cap. America. I'm not really expecting them to be over the top good. You know?
***** Iron Man is one of Marvel's best. The standards were set too high, and achieved too low(Iron Man 2 & 3, Thor 2) or were not good enough (Cap 1, Thor-mediocre)
TheVideoInvader nope IM3 was good. IM2 wasn't maybe it's your opinion but Thor 1 and Cap 1 fantastic character movies. I like them almost as much as IM1
I loved all 3 of them. Iron Man 3 only got hate because of the Mandarin. Iron Man 2 got hate because of there not being enough Tony Stark and too much Iron Man. My personal favorite is Iron Man 2. That is partially because AC/DC is my 3rd favorite band though.
I'm more or less forgiving on Ghostrider Spirit of Vengeance because we get to see Nice Cage being Nice Cage. They also filmed the action in crazy ways, sometimes even risking their lives! It would have been so much better if it was rated R but I was entertained; even though part of the enjoyment was laughing at it.
10) Ghost Rider 9) Superman/Doomsday 8) Cowboys & Aliens 7) The Spirit 6) Son of the Mask 5) Captain America (1990) 4) Superman Returns 3) Wanted 2) Alien vs Predator: Requiem 1) Batman & Robin
Chris sent me! This made me chuckle. I don't say laugh because it's in the middle of the night and i don't want my neighbors to think i'm crazy. Anyway, i subbed!
Awesome list John! I disagree with a couple of them though. I mean I know they're bad movies. But there are far worst comic book movies that would be on my personal list. Like I actually don't mind the first Ghost Rider, and the first Fantastic Four is a guilty pleasure for me, but overall great list and I do agree with most of your picks!
Here are my top 10 WORST Comic Book Movies 1. Green Lantern 2. Catwoman 3. Batman & Robin 4. Iron Man 3 5. X-Men: The Last Stand 6. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 7. Hulk (2003) 8. Elektra 9. The Fantastic Four 10. Superman IV
i hate it so much that everyone thinks that man of steel was bullshit just because they dont like superman! They kept things true to the comics, the fight scenes were awesome and i think they did the best plot for a origin story.
I actually kind of like Spider-man 3. Here is my worst list: 5.) Hulk (2003) 4.) Catwoman 3.) Elektra 2.) Howard the Duck 1.) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Also I didn't include Batman & Robin because I love it because of how bad it is. If they released the same movie as a comic book movie parody it would have gotten good reviews.
I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm glad when someone doesn't suffer through _Howard the Duck_ by watching it. On the other, by not putting _Howard the Duck_ on this list, we're being soft on crime
Glad to see GREEN LANTERN wasn't on this list. That movie wasn't nearly as bad as many people make it out to be. I actually enjoyed the first GHOST RIDER film. The actor that played Blackheart nailed that role, and Ghost Rider actually looked like Ghost Rider (which was rare for Marvel back then...and still is). I also strongly disagree that SPIDERMAN 3 was the worst Raimi incarnation. Ramie's first SPIDERMAN movie was the worst of the bunch, basically because he completely defecated on Green Goblin, even more so than Marc Webb did.
1. Fantastic Four (2015) 2. X-Men 3 3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 4. Spider-Man 3 5. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 6. Catwoman 7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) 8. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer 9. Man of Steel 10. The Dark Knight Rises (I have my reasons)
Blast22 10. HEY. 9. HEY!. 8. Enjoyed that one. 7. Been meaning to see it. 6. Wanted to see Spider-Man 2 again, but now everyone that saw this with me probably agrees that I had thought of the wiser choice. 5. Enjoyed that one. 4. Actually kind of enjoyed that one. 3. The Wolverine IS BETTER. 2. Thought the Brotherhood Assembly scene was cool (remember enjoying that one, but I DO recognize that it IS INFERIOR to 1 and 2, ESPECIALLY 2). 1. Will catch it on Netflix.
+Blast22 10. Love this movie. I own its novelization and it was a faithful following of the movie. 9. Need to watch. 8. Agreed there. I was bored with it. 7. I actually don't mind it. The length is a step in the right direction as the biggest flaw I found in the 2007 movie was that it was too short. 6. I'm in the minority with this movie, but I actually don't hate it. I honestly found it to be a watchable movie. 5. I agree with this one. It feels like a TV movie and I don't like all of the zooming going on. I will this movie clemency in that this sin is even worse in Kod Adi K.O.Z. 4. I couldn't finish the movie. It was good at first, but then it became cringe-worthy. 3. I liked it, if only because I wasn't a huge fan of X-Men 3. 2. Least favorite of the X-Men series. 1. Have not seen this, but I've heard of how bad this is.
1. Captain America (1990) 2. Fantastic Four (1994) 3. Batman & Robin 4. Catwoman 5. Steel (someone stop Shaq from being in movies) 6. Elektra 7. Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance 8. Hulk (Ang Lee) 9. Iron Man 3 10. Iron Man 2
1:Superman 4:The Quest For Peace 2:Catwoman 3:Batman & Robin 4:All The Fantastic Four Films 5:Steel 6:Elektra 7:Howard The Duck 8:Green Lantern 9:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 & 3 10:Batman V Superman/Justice League
Honestly Chris Evans was the one decent part of the old Fantastic 4 movies
Jtog He was the only one who was having fun with the role
Ioan Grufford was terrible as Reed Richards, and he's all like "I wanna be a baddie in the MCU, if Chris Evans can be in the MCU, than so can I!" And it's like, you're a terrible actor, shut the fuck up.
I somewhat agree. Just him and Michael Chiklis, who was my favorite part
@@uscman Damn, you sound like an asshole.
The Troll Killer you’re right. Made this a year ago, I don’t think loan Grufford is a good actor personally. He didn’t own the role of Reed Richards, same for Miles Teller.
How the hell did you miss Daredevil...
It's saved a bit for it's Director's Cut.
It wasn't terrible.... Just bleh
Daredevil Director's cut is awesome. Rated R.
I fuckin loved daredevil.
How did he miss Green Lantern?
Good, but I think Catwoman should be 1 instead of Batman and Robin. At least Batman and Robin was really funny to watch. Catwoman is just.....WHY?! Same thing with Batman and Robin, but in a way that's like, "This is horrible, yet entertaining!" Some of you may disagree, but I just feel that way.
Arham Zia Yeah, it's pretty bad.
I 100% agree I wanna vomit every time I see that outfit from Catwoman (sry if ur disgusted)
But u get what I mean
The N7 Spartan 111 I get it. That suit is just silly. I think Anne Hathaway's Catwoman from The Dark Knight Rises is the best!
Heja wolf 0602 100% agree on that one too
The N7 Spartan 111 Nice!
Spider-Man 3 is so severely underrated it's pathetic. If it weren't for that emo scene, I bet you that many people would like it. It's like saying "Hey stop hating on the new Batman movie, you would have liked it if it weren't for that 5 minute scene where he was raped up the ass."
Because that's what happened in Spider Man 3.
They raped the character of Peter Parker.
bob bill His was trying to make the point that people should stop focusing on the negatives, and instead, enjoy the positives.
Yeah I agree. It may not have been the best movie ever made, but I don't think it deserves the hate it gets. You're right about the emo-scene being over-emphasized and I guess that's just what happens when you have a large fan base devoted to a very particular character concept and then you break that concept. Ah well
Anybody who says Man of Steel should have been on this list, either is a Marvel fanboy or has TERRIBLE taste in comic book movies...
AMEN, SIR!!!!!!!!!
Gotta agree with you sir :)
It's a boring ass movie
@Chris Campbell Entertainment Not a fan of Man of Steel but it's much better than Superman 3, I also enjoyed Superman Returns better
A lot of film critics who loved great comic book films didn't like Man of Steel. Many people don't like not because of their taste for Marvel. Come up with a more convincing argument/defense for Man of Steel rather than your pig slop of a comment.
Spider-Man 3 ain't that bad, better than TASM2 anyway.
Spider man 3 is pretty good I just wish they removed Sandman pointless character
I agree, they either should've removed him and focused on venom or the other way round, I didn't mind the whole Harry sub plot though. I think 2 villains would have been fine.

Batman & Robin is better than half the movies on this list. At least it's watchable and fun to watch with a group of friends just to laugh at it. And Spider-Man 3 is still better than The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in my opinion.
Amen on Spider-Man 3, Cameron. I don't think it's THAT bad. At this point, I find it severely underrated.
Nah...
Catwoman and Steel are way worse than B&R, but I will never watch it again. I do own B&R on bluray, and not ashamed.
This is why we can have nice things!
Thank you for saying this!!
Howard the Duck.
Where's Green Lantern?
+Da Matinster In hell where it belongs.
+theFLICKpick XD. It was a abomination wasn't it?
+Da Matinster It wasn't that terrible... It had some good ideas. It's bad but there are so many that are worse.
+Da Matinster It was by no means good but it's outnumbered by far worse.
+theFLICKpick he means why is not on your list
You know what's even worse about Batman and Robin? It literally ruined the very name of the characters. Like if you ever say: ''I love Batman and Robin.'' People will most probably respond with: ''How can you like that piece of shit?'' and your'll have to say: ''No, I meant the actual comic books not the movie.''
+Bane Knightfall Good point people still can't Robin seriously and it's really sad because they're missing out.
You know it's sad we'll never see Sam Rami's true vision for Spider-Man 3
Ah come one Punisher War Zone had some badass moments
Yeah, I actually liked Punished: War Zone.
Yea, I really enjoyed the ultra-violence in this movie.
I watched it a long time ago and enjoyed it. Then again I can't recall a single moment from the movie anymore..
I never seen it but I will one day. I like the 04 Punisher, how does it compare to that?
Fabian Saldana
The 04' Punisher handled the character better, but War Zone had better action.
Why on earth is Spider-Man 3 on here
How come the terrible Green Lantern movie didn't make the list?
Worst movie of all time
*****
Because it didnt exist
Greg berlanti ruined that movie like he does with arrowverse
I like Spider-Man 3.
You've never even picked up a comic before have you?
I've never picked up a comic book but I still hated Spider-man 3.
Senior Steffan - CoD, GTA 5 and more! But you probably knew enough about the characters to hate it, right?
Deadpool Fair enough, but personally I'm too much of a venom fan to enjoy what they did in that movie.
Deadpool sorry i can't agree....at all but who cares i guess
For me, my worst comic-book movie is definitely Batman and Robin. What a huge pile of disintegrating shit!
Although we did have an amazing and underrated superhero movie called unbreakable.
+Sherhan Mahmud And Nolan's Batman trilogy.
The Dark Knight Trilogy are my face films of all time. My top 3 comic book films would be
1.The Dark Knight Trilogy
2.X-men (1,2,First Class,DOFP)
3.Unbreakable
Don't forget Blade II
+Sherhan Mahmud unbreakable wasn't a comic technically
The only redeeming factors of Spider-Man 3 were Thomas Hayden Church as Sandman and the fight between Peter and Harry (not Spider-Man and New Goblin). It was a great scene. The way Harry and Peter antagonized each other was awesome.
10.Daredevil
9.Green Lantern
8.Ghost Rider
7.The Fantastic Four 1994
6.Spiderman 1977 TV Movie
5.Superman 3
4.Blade
3.Superman 4
2.Elektra
1.Captain America 1990
OK I respect your opinion but Blade is awesome!! I feel like it's very underrated
5-x-men last stand
4-daredevil
3-elktra
2-supermaniv
1-batman and robin
Yes fucking Cap 1990
Agreed 100%
Damn, you're getting better and better at editing these videos. Keep it up!
Spider-Man 3 was bad, but I've seen WAY worse.
My top 3 favorite superhero movies 1. batman begins 2 x-men days of future past 3. captain America the winter solider 4. superman the movie 5. the dark knight 6. spiderman 2 7. Ironman 3 8. the avengers 9. Watchmen 10. The amazing spiderman
Good
Spider-Man 3 does not deserve to be on this list. It's not a bad movie it is just very dissapointing how you can call it shit I don't know.
1- Catwoman
2- Superman Returns
3- X-Men Origins: Wolverine
4- Fantastic 4 (ALL OF THEM)
5- Batman And Robin
6- Blade Trinity
7- Howard The Duck
8- Steel
9- Green Lantern
10- Ironman 2 (Worst MCU movie)
What is so bad about Iron Man 2?
Clorox Bleach Pepper Potts, Mickey Rourke, and the inconsistent plot.
Clorox Bleach It's a borefest with barely 29min of action
NOOOOOO
SUPERMAN RETURNS IS BETTER THAN MAN OF STEEL !!!!
Hey John can you do a video about your home theater set up, maybe talk about your tv and surround sound preferences. Also your recommendations on how to get the best movie immersing experience from a home theater set up. Your videos are fucking awesome man thanks!
Catwoman wasn't bad, IT WAS FUCKING DREADFUL!
Came over from Stuckman. You're awesome btw, am subscribed! Most of this list is pretty accurate, especially if you've seen then movie. BUT...
Spiderman 3
It was the perfect distraction.
*****
WTF are you talking about? I didn't mention Man of Steel on my list. Work on your reading comprehension skills!
+Wyld staar Man of Steel belongs on the list too
Steel was really bad.
Woah great rant there mate...for me it's this:
1. Batman & Robin
2. Catwoman
3. Spider-Man 3
4. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
5. Howard the Duck
6. Ghost Rider 1 & 2
7. Elektra
8. Daredevil
9. Punisher: War Zone
10. Steel
You forget to switch the number one with the number ten
1. Batman & Robin
2. Catwoman
3. Fant4stic
4. Elektra
5. Green Lantern
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III
7. Ninja Turtles
8. The Fantastic Four
9. Steel
10. Spider-Man 3
superman IV???
Agreed
My Personal List:
1. *Fant4stic*
2. Batman and Robin
3. Catwoman
4. Captain America (1990)
5. Elektra
6. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
7. The Fantastic Four (1994)
8. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
9. Steel
10. Superman IV: Quest for Peace
Worst
5. Catwoman
4. ASM 1 and 2
3. X MEN ORIGINS
2. Rise of Silver Surfer
1. Batman and Robin
ASM 1 & 2 don't deserve to be on the list lol there's alot more worst ones out there
Apart from ASM 1 and 2 I agree with you. But I also seriously don't understand the hate behind it. In my opinion ASM 2 was the greatest spiderman film to date with comic book accurate characters and story lines coupled with the fantastic telling of Gwen's death.
Poop Banshi I agree. It´s my fave Spiderman movie to date despite some flaws. Acting was amazing and Gwen´s crucial scenes were breath-taking.
HR TheFlameBladesWielder Gwen's death was a powerful moment, but the rest of the movie was some serious cheesy trash. Seriously, who thought up THAT Electro? It killed my hopes for a good Spiderman film series. ASM isn't that.
Marios Skordos what do you mean by who thought up THAT electro?
Top 11 Worst Comic Book Movie Superman 4 Batman And Robin Ghost Rider 2 Daredevil Fantastic Four 2 Elektra Punisher War Zone Man Thing Green Hornet Supergirl Catwoman
Why in the Fuck are people bringing up man of steel are they insane?
Cuz it sucks
1. Catwoman
2. Batman and Robin
3. Howard the Duck
4. Elektra
5. Batman Forever
6. Superman IV: Quest for Peace
Batman Forever is good and WHY IT IS LOWER THAN QUEST FOR PEACE
Dude, that Nicholas Cage impression at 1:23 just killed me. :))
I really enjoyed watching this list, thank you for another great video, John.
dude spiderman 3 is boss
I really like how he is straight to the point, without all that bullshit
Where are a Green Lantern, Daredevil and Iron Man 2?
Don't remind me of Iron Man 2
SquadronReviews Yeah, it was horrible!!!!!!
I think you mean Iron Man 3
+Lord Cat Vader they're not as bad as any on the list
+Lord Cat Vader Both of those are not even close to being the worst of all time.
Here are some (dis)honorable mentions that I'd like to add:
"The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen" - a movie so bad, Sean Connery quit acting all together after it was over.
"Green Lantern" - (Great stars + great director) * VERY shitty script = DISASTER!!!!!!
"Captain America" (1990) - To quote Marlon Brando from "Apocalypse Now ", "The horror....., the horror......"
What about Captain America from 1990?
My number 1
An update of this would be rather interesting to see
Honestly Punisher War Zone is nowhere near the worst comic book movies in my opinion. Sure it’s over the top and a bit cheesy but it gets the job done with being an entertaining action movie with some graphic moments, darkly hilarious laughs at parts and some element lifted straight from the comics themselves
Rip Ray Stevenson, he was a great Frank Castle
Steel. Nuff said.
IMO
10: hulk (2003)
9. Daredevil
8: fantastic four
7: x-men origins: wolverine
6: ghost rider
5:punisher : war zone
4: blade trinity
3: tmnt 3
2: elektra
1: batman and robin
Honorable mentions:
spider-man 3
ghost rider spirtit of vengence
tmnt (2014)
Shane Delaney agreed
+theFLICKpick And I also heard they were going to put Harley Quinn in the series as Jack Nicholson's daughter
There are others you missed,
1. Green Lantern --- the one that starred Ryan Reynolds. I hated this one the most.
2. Steel (1997)
3. Blade Trinity
4. The Phantom (1996)
5. Superman Returns
6. The Spirit
7. Hulk (2003 Ang Lee directed)
No just no
You're horrible
How about at number 11, The Amazing Spiderman 2: Rise Of Electro
It wasn't that bad. In my opinion, easy to get emotionally interested in
How about Thor movies being way worse than TASM2? Just an example. Those really have nothing going on. Cornier than Spiderman by a mile, no special acting, special effect and world building are not engaging, no special score. Nothing.
sanyrub It has a good score lmao you want a forgettable OST there's ant man
ASM2 is better than the first
I'm surprised the 80's Captain America didn't make it on the list.
Less John more Danielle.
haha, good list. however I still think catwoman is the worst one ever. batman and robin was crap but not nearly as bad as catwoman. eventhough everyone seems to hate the Jessica Alba Fantastic four, I thought it was not bad. it was closer to the comics than you would expect (except for the Dr. Doom thing..argh..) it was mildly entertaining.
He missed the first hulk movie with Eric Bana
that movie is actually not that bad
Not bad just pretentious... Too ambitious for its time
It almost made the list, I would put it at number 11.
theFLICKpick at least it almost made the list at number 11.
Meh. It was 5-6/10 for me.
A= 1= The Green Hornet 2= Hulk (Eric Bana) 3= Superman 3
Hulk is good
I loved Spider-Man 3...
me too
+The Incredible Pickle FINALLY
It's actually my 2nd favorite of the Spider-Man movies.
It was made to sell toys
1. Green Lantern
2. Ghost Rider
3. Spiderman 3
4. Catwoman
5. Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles Reboot
6. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
7. Blade Trinity
8. Ang Lee's Hulk
9. Daredevil or as I call it "Why Ben Affleck Shouldn't Be Batman"
10. Fantastic Four
Batman and robin??
I never saw Batman and Robin.
Spider man 3 is better than daredevil
HumanHybrid I guess on an objective level that's true but this list is subjective
Rise of the sugars Ang Lee's Hulk was good. Fuck off.
...Where's "Tank Girl", "Barb Wire", "Son of the Mask", "Supergirl", "Steel", "Dylan Dog: the movie", "Jonah Hex", "R.I.P.D." and "Judge Dredd"?
#1. TMNT 3: Turtles in Time
#2. Catwoman
#3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
#4. Superman Returns
#5. Electra
#6. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
#7. Blade: Trinity
#8. Batman and Robin
#9. Nick Fury: Agent of Shield
#10. Any Lee's The Hulk
Dishonorable Mention: The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Forever, TMNT (2007)
If anybody is wondering why I don't have Ghost Rider movies, Superman 4, the 1990s Marvel Comics movies that's because I've never watched them.
amazing Spiderman 2 should of been on the list. just got done watching it and wow what a pile of shit. why did they have rhino in the movie? it was pointless.
1. How was it a pile of shit? You clearly have no idea what a shit movie is lol
2. Rhino was only in the movie to set up for the sequels, you shouldn't have expected anything else
Read a few Spidey comics dude...
^^ butt hurt fan boys XD
Gary Hamill not exactly, you have yet to explain any of your reasoning, and how exactly are we butt hurt? have we insulted you in anyway? no? hmm, you're mature kid lol
I don't have to explain anything. the movie sucked from beginning to end.
10) X-Men Origins Wolverine
9) Green Lantern
8) Daredevil
7) Fantastic Four (2005)
6) Ghost Rider
5) Catwoman
4) Elektra
3) Fantastic Four (2015)
2) Batman & Robin
1) Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Iron Man 2
1. Fant4stic
2. Electra
3. Batman and Robin
4. X-Men Origins
5. Daredevil (series is so much better)
6. Catwoman
7. Green Lantern
8. Secret Of The Ooze and 3
9. Spider-Man 3
10. Iron man 2
I would put MOS somewhere in that list too
Man of steel was great
Then you're a idiot along with anyone who agrees with you
***** not you lol
True
Jesse radke yea well we are all entitled to our opinions- for me, MOS was horrible. Rushed, over use of CGI. The last half wad like a video game.
This is the best lighting ive seen in any of your videos! Good effort Flicky!
GOTG!
Go and fuck yourself.
Uh..no. Just no -___-
Hell no, the movie was awesome
HOW DARE YOU!!
No
Howard the duck...
I mean in my opinion -
Captain America: The Winter Soldier = A
X-Men: Days of Future Past = A-
Amazing Spider-Man 2 = B+
Guardians of the Galaxy = A+
Last year Marvel fumbled with Thor 2 and failed with Iron Man 3, but now they seem to be getting their shit together with their movies and are the ones to beat.
My Top 10:
10. Supergirl (1984)
9. Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance (2012)
8. The Spirit (2008)
7. Elektra (2005)
6. Steel (1997)
5. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
4. Captain America (1990)
3. Howard the Duck (1986)
2. Batman & Robin (1997)
1. Catwoman (2004)
Sorry but Steel should be #1
My number 1 worst is Thor, was bored outta mind with that movie.
Thor 2 is the worse for me. Painful.
I just think of that movie as a bridge for the major Marvel movies, same with Iron Man and Cap. America. I'm not really expecting them to be over the top good. You know?
***** Thor 1 and Cap 1 were great... Thor 2 was meh tho
Spiderman 3 was bad but it wasnt that bad
John, you probably hate comments like these but I will post this type of comment once and never again on this channel...
Where is Iron Man 3?
This is his list not yours you jackass. So go make your own list!
nowhere. it was a great movie. fuck off with your racist bin laden mandarin.
You mean Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3 was good.
Sorry sir, but are you bipolar?
I loved all 3 of them. Iron Man 3 only got hate because of the Mandarin. Iron Man 2 got hate because of there not being enough Tony Stark and too much Iron Man. My personal favorite is Iron Man 2. That is partially because AC/DC is my 3rd favorite band though.
The 2004' Thomas Jane Punisher is far worse than the War Zone
Facts.
You have to make a new list Flickpick. Now that BvS has happened you have a new no. 1
Granted its not good. its not as bad as these monstrosity. but it is no. 1 for biggest let down.
and fant4stic
Bvs wasn't that bad, the extended cut healed it a little but it wouldn't make it on top 10 worst
+DuSkDuckling bvs was a shit show. The ultimate cut took an cringe worthy movie and made it slightly watchable
Aixa Martinez Oh dear its a marvel fanboy
I'm more or less forgiving on Ghostrider Spirit of Vengeance because we get to see Nice Cage being Nice Cage. They also filmed the action in crazy ways, sometimes even risking their lives! It would have been so much better if it was rated R but I was entertained; even though part of the enjoyment was laughing at it.
10) Ghost Rider
9) Superman/Doomsday
8) Cowboys & Aliens
7) The Spirit
6) Son of the Mask
5) Captain America (1990)
4) Superman Returns
3) Wanted
2) Alien vs Predator: Requiem
1) Batman & Robin
Wtf Superman doomsday is The best animated superman movie
Mr. KnightWing if you know jack shit about The Death of Superman story arc, sure.
Chris sent me!
This made me chuckle. I don't say laugh because it's in the middle of the night and i don't want my neighbors to think i'm crazy.
Anyway, i subbed!
#1 Both Ghost Rider Movies!
That clip he showed from number 2 kept me from watching it in its entirety.
Daredevil, Green Lantern, Fant4stic, Iron Man 2/3, or Batman Returns?
I kind of liked Iron Man 2
Blade Trinity should be on this list.
IMO
Incorrect, where's son of the mask
It should be at number one
Son of the Mask is so bad I regret buying the double feature with The Mask and Son of the Mask instead of the original The Mask dvd.
I disagree with the Fantastic Four part, Chris Evans was a phenomenal Human Torch. he's a great Captain America too though.
Here are my top 10 WORST Comic Book Movies
1. Green Lantern
2. Catwoman
3. Batman & Robin
4. Iron Man 3
5. X-Men: The Last Stand
6. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
7. Hulk (2003)
8. Elektra
9. The Fantastic Four
10. Superman IV
Wolverine Origins for me. As a core Wolverine fan, I wish that movie had just been the Weapon X storyline on screen.
i hate it so much that everyone thinks that man of steel was bullshit just because they dont like superman!
They kept things true to the comics, the fight scenes were awesome and i think they did the best plot for a origin story.
Punisher: War Zone = guilty pleasure for me.
I liked it not as a guilty pleasure
I actually kind of like Spider-man 3. Here is my worst list:
5.) Hulk (2003)
4.) Catwoman
3.) Elektra
2.) Howard the Duck
1.) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Also I didn't include Batman & Robin because I love it because of how bad it is. If they released the same movie as a comic book movie parody it would have gotten good reviews.
I FUCKIN love BATMAN and Robin because it's so bad I enjoy watching it and laugh my ass off every time.
What is your opening song?It is awesome.
1. Fantastic Four (2015)
2. X-Men 3
3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
4. Spider-Man 3
5. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
6. Catwoman
7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)
8. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
9. Man of Steel
+Blast22 I thought Man of Steel was really good. Anyway its not my list.
KingMarktheShark I forgot to mention that I felt like waiting for Netflix for Ninja Turtles… and sure enough, I check last night, and it's ON Netflix!
Hunter Hughes Oh nice! I checked it out on RedBox this past winter.
1. Captain America (1990)
2. Fantastic Four (1994)
3. Batman & Robin
4. Catwoman
5. Steel (someone stop Shaq from being in movies)
6. Elektra
7. Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance
8. Hulk (Ang Lee)
9. Iron Man 3
10. Iron Man 2
Steel
Fantastic four (2015)
Cat woman
Electra
Daredevil
X men last stand
The spirit
Spider-Man 3
Ghost rider both films
Spawn
You should probably do an updated version because the latest Fantastic Four reboot managed to probably top this list for how utterly terrible it was.
TheEcthudan Plus, he even called it an "Abomination Against Humanity." (One of my favorite phrases to say.)
In my opinion Superman IV: Quest for Peace is the worst.
Way to ruin my favorite superhero.
Agreed
10. Ghost Rider (2007) & Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)
9. X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
8. Fantastic Four (2005)
7. Punisher: War Zone (2008)
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993)
5. Spider-Man 3 (2007)
4. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
3. Elektra (2005)
2. Catwoman (2004)
1. Batman and Robin (1997)
1:Superman 4:The Quest For Peace
2:Catwoman
3:Batman & Robin
4:All The Fantastic Four Films
5:Steel
6:Elektra
7:Howard The Duck
8:Green Lantern
9:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 & 3
10:Batman V Superman/Justice League
