There are always some orbs that appear, but they can be in any of the locations, and if someone grabs it before you, you won't see it anymore. So you have to be quick and check all the spawns you can as soon as it starts raining.

I think that got removed because i always get gray indicator but i still could find dark orb
Every time i try to find the last dark orb and the clouds never turn purple and i would already have like 13 players in the server which more than 8
Sometimes it takes an hour, other times just 15 minutes, that random wait is the worst.
