Bit of dejavu for the old boy by the looks of it😅having the odd spill is part of it just as long as nobody breaks anything that’s a good day on the bike I reckon. Great ride guys and great vid Phil👌
He was worried about going belly up on camera- well, he nearly did. I should've stayed behind him 😅 (sorry Bazz). He was a joy to ride with. Ps - Hanging for part 3 of the Simpson 😎👍 Catch ya Curt
Nice ride Phil Kozzy is a great run , good call not to do Jacobs , that hill changes allot we did it 2 times late last year ,, i have some footage of it in my channel from years ago , great ride weather footage looks crisp clear cheers thanks , might do a killi run soon my self
Thanks mate! Yeah, I tapped out at the base - it's way beyond what we had planned for the day...lol I'll head up there soonish via Horseshoe. And may come back via Gaddess Ridge Road - assuming it's not a horrendous goat track 😅🤦♂️. Catch ya on the trails one day again 😎
Some familiar roads there Phil. Last time we took 4wds up Jacob's Ladder we spent hours clearing trees. Killiekrankie is a great lookout, and you can get there from Bellbrook side - Kilprotay Trail is an epic track.
Full mission in the 4WD going up Jacobs! Well done, it's beyond my skill level. I'll go up Horeshoe Road next ride out that way. Love the view at the top of Killiekrankie 😎👍
Another goood day out mate👌haven’t been to Kosekai lookout I’ll have to go check it out! Heading up to killicrankie in a col weeks to take the young fella up should be good! Cheers mate!🍻
Cracking video Phil, as always stunning views along the way. Have to say your mate did well, fair play to him. Hopefully going to get out for a spin on mine today. See you on the next one 👍🏻
Hi Peter, nah mate, still running 2160 @ 60 fps. Seems to work ok. From a Gopro Hero 8. Ps- Just subbed your channel, some nice rides and info on there 😎👍 Cheers mate.

Always good to have someone along for a ride but it’s equally just as fun on ya own too cheers Phil great video 👍👍
Yep Johnny, sometimes some company is great, other times the solitude is just as good. Enjoy your night mate 🍻
Awesome Phil showcasing my backyard again, great soundtrack too.
Cheers Gumby 👍 Found that song the other day, I like it, suits sweeping countrysides 😎
I always think the buddy system is the safe option when going bush! Nice to also have someone to chat with when stopping!
True Doug 👍
Nice ride! Some of my favourite local roads in there 👍
Another nice ride and video. I finally put a deposit on a bike so hopefully picking it up next week and getting out for some adventures!
Ah thanks David! What bike did you settle on? Cheers
@@MidCoastAdventures Found a nice 2019 F850 GSA Rallye with 15k kms for a good price.
Great ride, i haven't been to Hungry Head since the Urunga bypass, is a lovely spot.
Nice and quiet in there now Michelle after the bypass 👍
I just gave it a thumbs up Phil....I suppose I should watch the video first😂😂
🤣 All good mate, hope you like it 👍
Great ride...always nice to have a friend along, for a change.
It can be a bit stressful taking someone else with you.
You start to feel responsible for every little incident.
You made good judgement calls.
Yep! I tend to tone down the ride and distance if others come- just takes a little of the stress away. But it's good to have some company at times 👍
22:56 nice one mate 👋🤠👍
Thanks Cliff 👍
Looks like another great ride Phil. Love it.
Thanks Vern! Cheers for the visit and feedback mate 🍻

Really enjoyed the video Phil. Do you reckon i'd get a Subaru up to the lookout? I dont think the wife would come on the back of the DR 😅
You'll easily get the Subaru up, Chris 👍 Just go up and back via Kosekai Road. Enjoy, it's a magic view mate 🍻
17:16 what's matey riding an Himalayan with motoz tires on .
Himalayan 400. Not sure of the tires, sorry Cliff.
How come you didn't go through Springs road and up to the top of Jacobs ladder instead
Wasn't sure if it was open, so took the guaranteed rout. Will head up Killacrankie soon via Mackays Road 👍
