I was actually not fan of the idea of sending idols who already debuted in survival shows because it's unfair to other trainees, because they were still trainees and their competitors are what? experienced idols, so i thought it was unfair, but after stanning fromis_9 i watched gyuri's journey and i admired her so much she's so humble she wants to prove herself that she didn't get 'lucky' to be part of fromis but she actually worked hard for it and she's willing to improve herself and to catch up with her member's training experience, and i hope someday people will recognize her not as 'jisoo's lookalike' but as fromis' member, jang gyuri.

skye but season 1 was experimental the show has grown now, also IOI didn't have the time to develop a stronger fanbase but this group from pd48 will promote for 2 year and a half in both korea and japan, so i see the comparison a bit out of place and also IOI members did put groups like WJSN, WKMK, gugudan, pristin on the map.

But the popularity effect actually didn't work in Season 1 :( It's like everyone loved I.O.I's bond but then after they came back to their respective groups it didn't boost much the group's popularity as a whole..
skye but season 1 was experimental the show has grown now, also IOI didn't have the time to develop a stronger fanbase but this group from pd48 will promote for 2 year and a half in both korea and japan, so i see the comparison a bit out of place and also IOI members did put groups like WJSN, WKMK, gugudan, pristin on the map.
