Great to see someone who wasn’t even born for ABBA’s first era. Great reaction. Times have changed, music industry is in trouble with not enough physical sales. We can all help by actually going to Apple Music or your Amazon and pay just 0.99 for the song. That way we actually contribute to the success. Streaming the songs just do not help at all. I urge you all to support music.

My daughter who is 17 and has been awaiting their return more eagerly than I (I was more wary, partly because of the delay but mostly because I had grown up with their music and felt betrayed and abandoned when they stopped providing more), had the audacity to laugh at me when I cried when they finally returned, but they had been away for a good twenty years when she was born, so she has no concept of what their departure meant to many of us whom they left.

It is so refreshing to hear songs that tell a story. Far superior to the mundane rubbish churned out today. I remember watching ABBA on TV in 1974 with Waterloo, they won the Eurovision song contest with the biggest majority ever and no-one or band has been able to match that. When ABBA split up in 1982 I never thought that they would make another album, I was 22, and now 40 years later they are back sounding just as good as ever. ❤
