13:46 prolly for the kick based on that exponential throttle mapping. I think they want to minimize the kick mid corner and maximize it on the straights.
Best thing I did was intake/header/exhaust then a dyno tune using Hondata Flashpro. No more rev hang. Throttle response is way better. VTEC kicks in @4700rpm and again @5900rpm Lost the VTEC hard crossover but way better overall power delivery and driveability 😊 This is the way it should have came from Factory!
Just for you, I will make another one. Recently my friend blew up the engine (money shift). But now its back better than ever. Ill talk about it in my next video
For stock the vtec kicks in at 5800rpm while the torque(I think max) is at 6100rpm. Maybe that's the reason why Honda set it that way. For mine the ex owner has remap and vtec now is at 5000rpm. At highway drive cruising the vtec kick in at 163kmh. Also once remap the speed limiter is off and the rpm limiter too. I hv to almost getting the Mugen intake last time but didn't in the end. My aim is to get the GruppeM. But for now I change the suspension first as I'm getting tired of it during long distance drive 😅

Stock map: Exponential mapping only at low rpm. Becomes linear at higher revs.
But yea i think its for the kick.
