Hi Mr. Will Downing, Just turned on your song after watching your interview with Tamron Hall in regards to the passing of your beautiful daughter Aron Siobahn. It struck my heart so deeply as I had also lost my precious son Michael to suicide back in 1985, Like yourself I received a long-distance phone call from my ex-wife while I was supervising a student anesthetist at UofM medical center. My heart sank because I knew it wasn't good news. She just said," Michael is dead", from a self-inflicted GSW. I had just spoken to my son about a week prior and he sounded very happy and excited about the arrival of his new baby girl, Michelle. The background story is not a happy one no thanks to me. Fast forward, the pain never goes away, but God in His Awesome Power and Wisdom has a profound way of turning that acute pain into a continual ache. I pray God will without measure give your family and loved ones His Amazing Grace to continually carry you through this difficult season. And I thank you for your courage, resilience, and vulnerability to conduct the interview with Tamron Hall to share with the world the tragedy of suicide on such a personal level. It's so unfortunate, that young people especially can hide their pain so well that if we are not careful we'll miss it every time. BTW, prayer is the most powerful Source that we have available because it will help during those deep Valley days that are sure to come to all of us at some time or other, it's inevitable. What a beautiful song! My story is so similar to your daughter ‘s. I never committed suicide because of my father’s love. He passed in 2016 and I promised myself to fight everyday to live to honor his life. Thank God I had him until I was 60 years old. Hello Will. Sorry to here. Unfortunately my daughter has left her entire family wondering why she does not want us in her life. It's painful but God! At this point no matter what you do you can only help where they will let you. And this is unfortunate. Also one of my daughter reaches for help and there is no Profesional available for care. My daughter has been waiting since college ended and it's been 2 years. Sadness!

He passed in 2016 and I promised myself to fight everyday to live to honor his life. Thank God I had him until I was 60 years old. I am so sorry for your loss. I saw you perform this on the Tamron Hall Show and you are right we as parents are not suppose to bury our children. I buried my only son October 18, 2018. She is an amazing singer/songwriter, but unfortunately the condition prevents her from creating music. But her family never give up on her, we talk every single day. Hello Will. Sorry to here. Unfortunately my daughter has left her entire family wondering why she does not want us in her life. It's painful but God! At this point no matter what you do you can only help where they will let you. And this is unfortunate. Also one of my daughter reaches for help and there is no Profesional available for care. My daughter has been waiting since college ended and it's been 2 years. Sadness!
