Fans picking on actors is not a new trend. Lately it's more of an over-sensitive reaction to BL actors as if all of them are gay. The fans have created havoc in the lives of many actors to the point we no longer see them in films. The business of Thai BL is the most toxic and damaging industry in entertainment. They control every aspect of the actors. The meets that the companies set up for promoting their series is ridiculous and humiliating. They set up games and scenes that allude that the actors are in relationships. Fans are wayyyy to invested in their personal life and harass and cause real damage to their actors that they claim to care so much about. The complaints that “fans” have that causes as scandal is ridiculous. How about this: watch a series knowing they are NOT a couple in real life but actors playing a role and just enjoy it for what it is. It’s entertainment.

I have to say from what I've read about Toy Toy he did admit to stabbing her once and killing her but not 20 times. The victim had scars and more recent wounds from suicide attempts. I haven't heard anything new about him since this happened in, I think, August of 2020. I'm not even sure what he was found guilty of, his punishment or even court hearings. Mew and god are 2 actors I'm not a fan of. I'm hoping Build clears his name in court because Poi has shown herself to be untrustworthy, dishonest and her and her writing partner Yok have had questionable behavior with Barcode and other men on the set of KinnPorche. Well, good for him. 2 Moons 2 was shot in 2019 when he was 17 or freshly 18 at that time, it was also his very first series. I’m glad he got educated on that matter and he made effort to change his behaviour. During Safehouse season 4 there was the homophobic r*pe joke made by White and Foei towards First. It was done casually during a mealtime, indicating their real characters and how for them it’s just a joke like all others. Of course it sparked outrage and concern toward First among fans and the segment was later removed from the episode. This type of livestream shows are the easiest to show your true colours. Yet, Joong didn’t have this problem, he was just being cuddly with Dunk or being chill. - There is also an opinion that the whole problem was actually never there to begin with, but stands from a mistranslation. Whatever it is, please also look at the pattern of behaviour of a person before criticising them. As far as I am aware of, the issue brough up in this video is the only homophobic thing Joong has done, there are no new comments like that nor old social media posts in this spirit. Well we all know humans all have a breaking point, and the first case shows clearly how bad it can get. It's a complete tragedy. The girl had tried to take her life before, she was bipolar and had other issues, she should have gotten profesional help to learn how to cope with her condition, but people were not supportive enough maybe. Then this young guy got in a relationship with her and it was 100% over his head, not mature enough to handle the emotional baggage and he lost it, also mix in the alcohol and it's a recipe for disaster. People that knew him, family and friends said he was never violent and never had problems... Clearly he was drunk and enraged from a fight and he lost it, so scary.

it was a completely harmless thing to say in the behind-the-scenes video while filming Cutie Pie, he said that there could be a few more love scenes in Cutie Pie, and he did it in a joking manner, and actually in the novel there are far more love scenes between Lian&Kuea so they did cut most out for the series, and the cast knew because most actors have to read the novels before workshops and a series starts filming so they can get into character. The Cutie Pie novel is a bestseller in Thailand and everyone who had read it, including fans, knew that there probably should have been more love scenes. To compare this with actors who actually killed and assaulted people, who bullied and abused classmates, who made rape jokes and sexist and homophobic comments, is horrible, the video maker clearly only wanted to include all massively popular actors and searched for the dumbest reason in his case.

I would like to say, that the Thai mostly faked BL entertainment genre is generally disappointing, as it is wrong to make heterosexual young good looking boys into gays. Most of them are acting in BL’s for fame, and prosperity, but don’t understand what is involved at the beginning. Many of them, like for example Prem, from BounPrem have not been actors at all, have not attended any acting classes, were thrown into the BL business as pure heterosexuals, and in the process by having success with another faked BL couple-partner becoming a vehicle for fans, who adore only them. When they have a love scene with a girl, or another boy, the mildest form of punishment/insult is ignoring the scene completely, the worst is blaming with terrible verbal insults the girl. Also 80% of the BL fans in the comment sections are girls, half of them underaged, and most are heterosexual. The BL series in general do not help at all to understand the same gender loves better by the heterosexual society, and promote equally. All there is cliches, school/university boy’s “love”, quarrels, jealousy between them, rich boy falls for poor boy etc., and after a successful series the fighting between the couple for superiority in popularity, and fame starts behind closed doors. 😂Personally, this is a shameful business to me, as the only purpose is making money with pretty boys. Yes, I don't really like how this business is carried out, but I do like the series, and I do enjoy when the characters have great chemistry and the actors themselves are open minded and unafraid of being called or reffered to as gay. Yeah I agree. I don't think it's right for fans to "push" the character's relationships onto the actors. They are playing a role, not doing a reality show (and even that can be faked). If they develop close friendships during shooting, that's great, but leave it at that. If they are actually gay, then fine, but fans shouldn't push their ideals onto these people. It's sad because that's where I started watching bls from. They definitely still have great dramas like I Told Sunset About You. I was really young when i first watched Bls but slowly i grew up and realized things about myself and what i was consuming. I realized how people consumed dramas with horrible story writing and repetitive trops and still loved it . i also later realized that i really like women and kinda like men. I never would've thought about my sexuality if not for Bl. Also did my brother. He came out as trans. Being part of the LGBTQ community was never talked about in our family was never talked about especially since we cut of all of our family except my siblings and mother and the only LGBT people now are me and my brother. Even if they bullied someone in high school, you don’t ducking know better as a child. I made hurtful decisions with 13-14 too, doesn’t mean I still agree with them with 18 or 20. I’m not attached to whether the BL actors are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not, I just don’t like if they lie about it and use it for fame. Queer baiting is not okay. If you watch #BrightWin for example it’s really only the fans that keep shipping them, but they’ve always made it clear that they’re good friends, not a couple. The business of Thai BL is the most toxic and damaging industry in entertainment. They control every aspect of the actors. The meets that the companies set up for promoting their series is ridiculous and humiliating. They set up games and scenes that allude that the actors are in relationships. Fans are wayyyy to invested in their personal life and harass and cause real damage to their actors that they claim to care so much about. The complaints that “fans” have that causes as scandal is ridiculous. I have to say from what I've read about Toy Toy he did admit to stabbing her once and killing her but not 20 times. The victim had scars and more recent wounds from suicide attempts. I haven't heard anything new about him since this happened in, I think, August of 2020. I'm not even sure what he was found guilty of, his punishment or even court hearings. Mew and god are 2 actors I'm not a fan of. I'm hoping Build clears his name in court because Poi has shown herself to be untrustworthy, dishonest and her and her writing partner Yok have had questionable behavior with Barcode and other men on the set of KinnPorche. I don't think when the other actors talk about being "a real man " they mean it that way. They're under a lot of pressure to do fanservice and some fans expect their idols to date their bl partner in real life. I never saw this before I started watching bls 2 years ago. In America the actors do their job, do press usually alone and move on to their next project. I do remember when Brokeback Mountain came out and people were shipping Heath and Jake together but it didn't last long. I’m really surprised about Joong. This proves that people do change overtime, because from the way he acts with Dunk right now you would never guess he once made those type of comments. Well, good for him. 2 Moons 2 was shot in 2019 when he was 17 or freshly 18 at that time, it was also his very first series. I’m glad he got educated on that matter and he made effort to change his behaviour.
Edit: for those people in the comments who think he’s faking his behaviour now and doing it for the money, here’s the thing:
- Being an actor is a job like any other, not getting paid would be the issue here. It doesn’t matter what genre you are playing in, it’s still a job.
- This is the common problem I see a lot on the internet, people seem to think that you can’t learn / educate yourself. Like I said, Joong was a teenager at the time. Just remember when we were teenagers, how much difference 4 years made - we were very different people at 22 than us at 18. And getting educated and understanding the roots of the issues is the most important thing here. Rather than putting out empty apologies, showing how you changed with your actions is the best way to go.
- Obviously actors have to be mindful of their image, but people think that actors can just act and fake their image all the time. If you’ve ever tried acting, you know how exhausting it can be, especially when you’re constantly in the spotlight. You can fake your attitude in an interview or a short program, but you cannot realistically keep it up for hours. Well, guess who appeared on season 3 of Safehouse and was in an unscripted livestream for everybody to see for days? Joong. His behaviour stayed consistant throughout all the episodes, meaning it really was his natural behaviour.
And the ironic thing is, if you have a weird / bad characer, it will show with time in this type of show. During Safehouse season 4 there was the homophobic r*pe joke made by White and Foei towards First. It was done casually during a mealtime, indicating their real characters and how for them it’s just a joke like all others. Of course it sparked outrage and concern toward First among fans and the segment was later removed from the episode. This type of livestream shows are the easiest to show your true colours. Yet, Joong didn’t have this problem, he was just being cuddly with Dunk or being chill.
- There is also an opinion that the whole problem was actually never there to begin with, but stands from a mistranslation. Whatever it is, please also look at the pattern of behaviour of a person before criticising them. As far as I am aware of, the issue brough up in this video is the only homophobic thing Joong has done, there are no new comments like that nor old social media posts in this spirit. And it may have been a mistranslation all along.

Then this young guy got in a relationship with her and it was 100% over his head, not mature enough to handle the emotional baggage and he lost it, also mix in the alcohol and it's a recipe for disaster.
People that knew him, family and friends said he was never violent and never had problems... Clearly he was drunk and enraged from a fight and he lost it, so scary.

it was a completely harmless thing to say in the behind-the-scenes video while filming Cutie Pie, he said that there could be a few more love scenes in Cutie Pie, and he did it in a joking manner, and actually in the novel there are far more love scenes between Lian&Kuea so they did cut most out for the series, and the cast knew because most actors have to read the novels before workshops and a series starts filming so they can get into character. The Cutie Pie novel is a bestseller in Thailand and everyone who had read it, including fans, knew that there probably should have been more love scenes. To compare this with actors who actually killed and assaulted people, who bullied and abused classmates, who made rape jokes and sexist and homophobic comments, is horrible, the video maker clearly only wanted to include all massively popular actors and searched for the dumbest reason in his case.

I would like to say, that the Thai mostly faked BL entertainment genre is generally disappointing, as it is wrong to make heterosexual young good looking boys into gays. Most of them are acting in BL’s for fame, and prosperity, but don’t understand what is involved at the beginning. Many of them, like for example Prem, from BounPrem have not been actors at all, have not attended any acting classes, were thrown into the BL business as pure heterosexuals, and in the process by having success with another faked BL couple-partner becoming a vehicle for fans, who adore only them. When they have a love scene with a girl, or another boy, the mildest form of punishment/insult is ignoring the scene completely, the worst is blaming with terrible verbal insults the girl. Also 80% of the BL fans in the comment sections are girls, half of them underaged, and most are heterosexual. The BL series in general do not help at all to understand the same gender loves better by the heterosexual society, and promote equally. All there is cliches, school/university boy’s “love”, quarrels, jealousy between them, rich boy falls for poor boy etc., and after a successful series the fighting between the couple for superiority in popularity, and fame starts behind closed doors.

Yes, I don't really like how this business is carried out, but I do like the series, and I do enjoy when the characters have great chemistry and the actors themselves are open minded and unafraid of being called or reffered to as gay. Yeah I agree. I don't think it's right for fans to "push" the character's relationships onto the actors. They are playing a role, not doing a reality show (and even that can be faked). If they develop close friendships during shooting, that's great, but leave it at that. If they are actually gay, then fine, but fans shouldn't push their ideals onto these people. Gotta admit I didn't know that about Prem. That's actually really cool that he's had no acting experience but is doing that well. Proud of him for that. Every time I see Boun and prem I don't think BL. I just think they are the sweetest of friends. They remind me of my friend and myself when we are together and it's why i like watching them. This really needed to be said. I wish every Bl fan could read your comment. I definitely still enjoy watching Bls but mostly out of Thailand since japanese Bl fans seem like a different species. It's sad because that's where I started watching bls from. They definitely still have great dramas like I Told Sunset About You. I was really young when i first watched Bls but slowly i grew up and realized things about myself and what i was consuming. I’m not attached to whether the BL actors are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not, I just don’t like if they lie about it and use it for fame. Queer baiting is not okay. Some of these are quite ridiculous and these actors have to kiss behinds and issue pointless apologies over immature mistakes that they made during a time that they are learning about themselves, learning about life, learning good from bad or because the people lack patience to wait for all information to come out before throwing stones; no human is perfect and making mistakes in which you learn from is a part of growing especially if you were raised and taught a certain way, your family’s views and options are pushed on to you most of your life, you’ll make mistakes and that’s OKAY. You are becoming your own being.
It only becomes a issue if the behavior is repeated, if so, then that is their way of thinking.
The industry there seems to feed the public these “perfect” individuals while feeding the fans obsessions with the whole shipping/live shows/fan service BS and milking it till there isn’t even a drop then when a actor is “caught” being human it’s all aboard the shame, hate, shame, hate train till they are forced to give them what they want.

And if you think I'm doing this just to get your attention, I don't think so. I know this is one of interesting and questionable content, and controversial. But at the end of the day we are the one who can control our mind of how we seeing these actors. I don't judge them by their past because I know people learn, people change.
