i loved starry i really did,anyone that goes back to the beginning on this channel will see my comments championing them,but i truly believe jarry is the right direction for harry in this moment in time and actually for ste too.i do not think jarry is endgame,the show as spent too much time and storyline on starry to just drop it,they are pretty much been the longest running gay relationship in the show for a very long time now,but i do think harry need to find out who he is outside ste,he need to be in a relationship where he doesn't carry a lot of emotional weight,because for the duration of their relationship harry as been the caretaker, he literally got out of jail and the first time he saw ste he was pulling drugs out of his hand,he is the one that helped him put his life together after ryan,he is the one that went back to talk to the principle so ste could get the contract,he is the one that always run interference anytime amy refused ste cant be with the kids,he as always been the adult in this relationship and its not fair because in many ways harry is still very young, and he need to experience a relationship that less life and death,he needs to know what it feels like to be taken care of, he need to figure out what he want to do career-wise ,whatever happened to his football?,what about school?,does he want to go back,college?,somewhere a long the way harry dreams and ambitions disappeared and got replaced with just taking care of ste and the kids.ok i felt like that needed saying.
The thing Ste is doing isn't going to work out. In stead of wondering Why Harry wants to be with James and feels he can talk to James, and trying to fix that missing part in their own relationship. Ste's trying to control him, telling him what to do. It's like Ste's not listening and putting the blame actively on outside factors instead of looking inwards.

Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if James is rather in love with Ste, not Harry. He was taken with him when he first arrived in the village, and we all know how twisted his relationships can be. James may think of Harry as almost a younger brother that he meeds to look after and protect, not as a potential lover, almost a replacement for Nathan or Alfie.

Ste would benefit from having someone like brendan, I feel like Ste has been dating men that he can push over, and what he really needs is someone that can push back. Not fysically obviously. But someone that is his equal. As much as Harry tries to help Ste fix his mess, Harry is too young to have to do this, he's been Ste's caretaker since he was 17. Ste needs someone that is older to be with or his own age. Harry could work with James, because it would give him the chance to retake his own life, James doesn't need a caretaker. But I wouldn't mind Harry with someone his own age that reminds Harry that he's 20 and should live his life before it's over.
Well guys, at long last the truth came out. Now it is time to forgive and forget and give them another chance to be happy and together again. It might take sometime but it is well worth doing it. I like Harry with Ste. They mean and belong together, so be it then.
