Ciao! Thank you for your comment! I'm happy to explain a bit further. You will use 'mangialo' in positive sentences : Mangialo subito! (eat it now!) and 'mangiarlo' in negative sentences - Non mangiarlo! (Don't eat it!). This last example is the formula NON + VERB in the infinitive + pronoun. Be careful because if you are also learning modal verbs this concept might confuse you because with modal verbs you will have a similar structure that will give you the option of using mangiarlo also in positive sentences. For example if you say "devi mangiarlo!" (modal verb dovere : devi + mangiare + pronoun). Hope this helps!
@@vasaonphotography2658 that is so nice that you are in Catania! I hope you are liking it! Remember that in Sicily a lot of locals speak in Sicilian dialect! So sometimes you are not listening to Italian but to a dialect that I myself find very difficult to understand! Two months is a great immersion in culture and language! I’m sure your Italian will be better after these months! Eat a “granita” for me 😆 ciao!
@@italianlanguagehub Ciao... This is Roberto .... VASA is my youtube name and refers to the online center for media studies... all is well here and you are right... the Sicilian dialect is different :-)

Hi - many thanks for your videos! Your examples got me a little confused 😒😒 What is the difference between 'mangialo' and 'mangiarlo'? Grazie.
