shoes usually weigh 13oz… which is about 0.8lbs. It makes sense for it to launch a shoe that far in the air with the sole compressed that much. Now imagine that same sole compressed a quarter, or even half as much, trying to launch a whole person. That person could weight 170 times more than that shoe, or maybe even more. How much do you think these soles are going to help that person with running or jumping?
