🙏 Thank you! Yes, you can peel it off just like rubber! The thicker it is the easier it usually is to rip off, but it might drag some strand if hair with it too, so if you have anything you need to protect (sideburns or beard etc) put a thin layer of wax on it before applying latex ☺️
hi i love your makeup, this tutorial is so good! can i ask what brand face paint did you use and do you know about how much liquid latex you used?? (my budget isn't that high so i don't want to buy too much of it)
Hi! Thank you! For this I used Grimas paint which is a low budget paint in Sweden but kryolan and Ben nye are my Fav brands 👏 And if you find a place that pours liquid latex for you I think you only would need like 20-30 ml, depending on how many layers you make. You are probably gonna use less but it is nice to have room for error 😊
Sorry for the late response! The latex isn't hard to remove per say, but if you have sensitive skin try it out first cause it does pull a lot and might hurt when grabbing fine hairs! But the more layers you do the easier it is to get off
HI! Sorry for the late reply, life's been busy 🙏 For this look latex would be needed. You can work without latex and make the wrinkles purely with paint. Make a base color, wrinkle your face and put dark into them, and then put a lighter color and a line next to it 👌
Im gonna be dabi for halloween and after i watched your video i went to buy some latex when i opened it it smelled like fish ass and really strong ammonia. Is it supposed to smell like that or is there something wrong with the bottle i got?
Latex have a really rancid smell! It can also sting a bit from the fumes if too close to the eyes. So there is nothing wrong with the batch you got, but of course it's a bit worrying at first glance when it's your first time with latex! Sorry I didn't cover that in the video! I will remember that until next time, don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
hi i’m back to ask another question lol. when i put the latex on, the edges peel off a little after a while. is there something i can do to stop that or am i doing something wrong?
Latex can peel after a while, but make sure that you're edges are thin! Even if you apply several layers try to keep every layer a little bit further from the edge and it will last longer 😊 you should be able to get at least 4-6 hours of wear
It's been so long so I don't have the exact colors on hand anymore but it's from a cheaper brand called Grimas (Scandinavian Brand) . Grease paint can also be easily mixed together just like regular paint! Depending on where you are located I can also highly recommend the brands Ben Nye and Kryolan that are readily available in most countries!
Nothing that works exactly the way latex does, you could try 2 component silicone but it will give more of a 3D effect Rather than the dry/wrinkled effect.
You could get some glue specifically for makeup looks then use toilet paper to create wrinkles, I'm not sure how easy it is to get off but that's an idea for u :)
Absolutely, as I point out in the video I didn't have any clear latex at hand but it's much easier to mask and you can put some paint on BEFORE the latex so you have a better base shade as well ☺️
This is good advice! Try on a bit of the skin first and don't put too much Vaselin or it can have a harder time sticking, but a thin layer works really well! Where the skin is thin it can definitely hurt a bit more, use oil (coconut/baby) when removing it and it can help lube it a bit so it's not as dry ☺
Any liquid latex will have that smell, it's due to the process of making it 😊 in this video i use a really cheap one (yellow toned) but a better one would dry completely clear
In the video I only use a liner to make the contours of where I want the normal and damaged skin to meet, if that is what you were referring to? :) It could be an eyeliner or lip liner but prefferably something that doesn't show too much so it isn't hard to cover up
If you don't feel like you have the control of totally fine to put it further away from your eyes ☺ remember that most eyelash glues also are latex based as well if you wanna avoid it!
i'm going tomorrow as Dabi to a comic con in germany , this is gonna help me today :D thanks !
This is so good! I'm cosplaying Dabi for halloween this year and I"m gonna follow your tutorial, I hope the result is even half as good!
Paige Hill wow, same!
I'm just happy to be of some assistance! I hope you'll share pictures of your Dabi for me to see 😍
Same bro
This is so good! I wanna do the scars of Dabi for halloween to my school, so this is going to help a lot!

Oh god the ending made me die when it said " or in this case an old blueberry man " ! XD
thanks for the tutorial!! im going to try to follow it! one question, of do you remove the latex? do you just peel it off?
🙏 Thank you!

Thanks so much for this me and a friend are doing a good and bad versions makeup of dabi thanks again

okay!! thank you so much for the reply and info i really appreciate it!!
Your makeup came out great!! Is the latex hard to remove?
Sorry for the late response!

Do you have a version without the latex? I'm allergic.
do you have to use latex? also this is so good!

That fucking tongue thing at the end and the poses- why me- @///@
I died reading this 😂❤️
*unholy screeches of the flustered*
where did you get the colors? which colors exactly did you use?
It's been so long so I don't have the exact colors on hand anymore but it's from a cheaper brand called Grimas (Scandinavian Brand) . HI how long does it takes more or less to do the whole make up? (did u put powder inbetween the layers?) thanks
Yes you powder in between each layer or the latex will stick to itself ☺ depending on how used you are to the process I'd say between 30-90 minutes!
Is there an alternative to latex that you could use? I’m allergic to latex.
Nothing that works exactly the way latex does, you could try 2 component silicone but it will give more of a 3D effect Rather than the dry/wrinkled effect.

What powder would I use to make it not stick
You can use any powder really 🙂I usually go with baby powder since it's cheap and translucent. Preferably one without perfume!
Do you recommend clear liquid latex?
Absolutely, as I point out in the video I didn't have any clear latex at hand but it's much easier to mask and you can put some paint on BEFORE the latex so you have a better base shade as well ☺️
Is is safe to put it on the thin skin of your eyes? More importantly, Does it hurt when you peel it off?
It is safe but I personally recommend to put vaseline on the skin then put the latex on top
Tenkou Cosplay Ejiro Kirishima Thank you soo much for the advice 😊
What type of liquid latex did you use? Because the one I have has a pungent ammonia kinda smell and I’m worried that I’m using something toxic
Any liquid latex will have that smell, it's due to the process of making it 😊 in this video i use a really cheap one (yellow toned) but a better one would dry completely clear
@@tenkoucosplay ah, alright, thank you very much, you just didn't seem to be too bothered by it so I just wanted to make sure :)
Before painting, what did u use on your face (name) ?

Dabis eyes are ocean blue
Why did you put contacts in?
Personally I think lenses add to the characters but it's up to you what you prefer 🙂
His eyes are blue aren't they?
They are! But I didn't have any blue lenses at hand 🙂
Good makeup💕 but Dabi dosent have red eyes
Thanks! Good thing that's an easy fix when everyone does their own makeup 😉
Just keep in mind: Dabi has blue eyes.
It's mentioned in the description 👌
Everything is nice, but Dabi has blue eyes...
As you can see in both other comments and in the description of the video, we are aware 😂
Ummmm why would you put latex that close to your eyes what if you got in in your eyeball
If you don't feel like you have the control of totally fine to put it further away from your eyes ☺ remember that most eyelash glues also are latex based as well if you wanna avoid it!
