Arteta’s passion for The Arsenal cannot be denied, I remember the day we signed him on transfer deadline day, I was shocked, it came out of nowhere and I couldn’t imagine him in any other shirt but an Everton one, yet he quickly took the club to his heart, and has now become one of those rare examples of a person who would do anything to see our club win, and stays loyal to it over many years. That is a rare breed these days. A great player, club captain, and Arsenal manager, stepping up through the most difficult period I have ever seen the club face in my over two decades of support. A legend.

    • @dragonbane44
      @dragonbane44 Год назад +5

True. Arteta came and immediately his on field presence and leadership steadied our wobbling defence. I remember fans back then complaining that Arteta was very boring who always does side passes. But that was exactly what we needed at the time and Arteta knew it.
Arteta was positionally very aware. Always at the right time and place to intercept opponent counter attack. Opponents very rarely got past him. Before him, our midfield was prone to dispossession under slightest pressure. He brought steel to the midfield and kept possession.
And he was a great on-field leader who took command of the team like a general and stabilized them.
For me, he was the most consistent, rock solid player along with Koscielny.

I was there for (at least) the free-kick, and the long-range goal in the dying minutes against Man City, and the assist for Giroud's brilliant 90th minute volley against Man Utd (I was right behind the goal). Arteta had great technique from long range, and his penalties were always confident, and also unpredictable. Different power, direction, height, etc. He captained us to our first trophies in 9 years with those two FA Cups. Good player, and he's becoming a good manager. So exciting to see him leading this dynamic young team!

I remember that time he had to retake a pen after the first one good as it was, i was nervous for him to take it again as probably was he but he did it like there was no one in the stadium.
For some reason that memory feels like yesterday but i think that was his last season as a player.
It’s actually a beautiful story when you look to when he joined us, captained us, left and is now on the throne doing great things. #SuperMik 🔴⚪️

People who actually watched his Arsenal games, not youtube videos will know what kind of DM he was. He was incredibly underrated as a holding midfielder and more often penalized because his tactics where not as flashy as certain DMs Arsenal were used to in the past. Xhaka reminds me more of Arteta has a holding mid except Arteta was definitely way more disciplined in the manner.

its the exact reason he loves Havertz... he seems himself in Havertz just like he did with Granit.

The Spanish team in his time was so loaded, that such a legend didn't make the squad.

Came in at a time of turmoil after the club lost Nasri and Fabregas. He did his duty well. The free kick against Villa and the goal against Man City were memorable.

    The year is 2022.
It's Mikel's 3rd season (2nd full season) as a manager. Arsenal at the top, 4 points clear from cheat code mancity who has monster named Haaland. Piers F'in Morgan currently supporting Arteta after years has been mocking him, what a clown 🤡🤡🤡
Saliba, White, Xhaka, Jesus are having great season so far. Gabriel Martinelli showing his talent to another new level, starting almost every of our game at all competition. Its a good times to be a gooner 😊
    We've got super #MikArteta 🎼

People compare him with the impact of Fabregas, but I even love him more than Cesc.
Not only he is the manager of the club now, He also got the real love & true passion with the Club.
In addition, the guy decided to finish his career with Arsenal and did not make a move to any team.
What a career you had Mikel.

Great technician on the pitch and off it !
He was more of a number 10 at Everton and transformed his game at arsenal to suit the team !!!
He wasn’t with us donkeys years but u could see every minute he represented areas all he done it proudly and to the best of his ability !!
He generally loves the club and the fans and you can even see it no then ,you could see happiness in his fellow peers faces and managers when he would score or assist !
He deserves these good times and many more .
