I’m excited now!
WOOOOOOOOO
My birthday is coming up soon 😊
Let's see how long this lasts.
Id be longer than Bad Cinderella thanks to NY NY picking up Several Tony nominations
110 performances…. it is the biggest financial flop in Broadway history.
@@ChienaAvtzon Spiderman Musical is the biggest financial flop
@@PS-DLMA - Not anymore…. “NY,NY” lost more than its initial investment. “Spider-Man” earned some of its investment back.
What a fluff piece. For what it's worth, this is one of the worst shows I've seen in years. Completely unlikeable/obnoxious characters and a book that isn't worth the paper it's written on. It's a largely forgettable score from one of the most accomplished in the industry, which is an utter shame, but true nonetheless.
The only - and I mean only - bright spot in this entire production is Clyde Alves. He's literally the only performer in the show that elevates the dismal material he's given, and it is downright criminal that his talents are wasted in this dumpster fire of a show.
For a town so nice
They named it twice
This show is shit
Indeed 2 & a half hours of it
It's very ordinary, but having said that, apart from Let's Hear It For Me Now, which sounds like it was written decades ago for Flora the Red Menace, and dropped - there are some very good songs in it. The ones that Kander and Ebb wrote. A Quiet Thing - which is sadly thrown away - I'm One of the Smart Ones, Lets Hear it For Me, The World Goes Around, and New York, New York are all crackingly good theater songs. It's the book that let's the songs down, not the score.
