When I was playing X, I ran into an NPC who asks you to listen to his song. I selected yes and this started playing. Tears were shed that night, for I loved Unova like you wouldn't believe.

Crazy how time flies. Yes a comment 10 years after this game’s release, but it makes me happy to see a chosen few that loved B&W more than anything. It was my first game, and I have over 20 days played on each game. Even B&W 2 was even better than the original in my opinion, it was impeccable with the storylines, events, and new content. Sure something’s about it sucked, like bad online lobbies, not much multi regional gameplay ,and a lack of post game adventures. But the times I spent on the game. Attaining a team of great Pokémon, such as my Bisharp, Klingklang, Darmanitan, Galvantula, Excadrill, and Samurott. Blowing through the Gym Leaders and making me even bond with digital creatures. Grinding for several hours to train my team, fighting Team Plasma for the sake of the region and helping unite people and Pokémon. Lastly, I created a bond with fictional creatures in my little DS. This game made me escape reality in a way and it made me happy. I will pay full price for a 3rd game or remaster of B&W. I love this game, and it will always be my favorite. Nothing will replace it. *Thank You Nintendo* 🥺

I loved Gen 5. Yes, it had some major flaws, and some minor, but every game does. This game is close to my heart because it was the first Pokemon game I didn't have to share with my brother, and I still play it. This song is absolutely beautiful and it will always stay in my heart. Again, the game may have it's flaws, but everything does. And sometimes it's not about catching 'em all. Sometimes it's the journey with your Pokemon to catch 'em all.
Even if i'm commenting on this 3 years after it was posted your comment's point still stands especially from looking at the newest Pokémon games, Pokémon Sword & Shield. It's never about the destination, It's about the journey and the new friends you make along the way and also to just have fun. Even if they cut The National Dex, even if used old models for older Pokémon, if you move past the negative feedback and see what they have to offer for yourself... well... you'll probably enjoy yourself too. Sure you can catch 'em all, but Pokémon is a journey that never ends.
Seeing the comments from almost a decade ago, and seeing the amount of passion and love people had for this game that long ago, and seeing the recent resurgence in the past couple years of people gaining a new appreciation for this generation of games is truly beautiful. I only wish I had the chance to experience these games in their prime. When I eventually had the chance to play them, I fell in love with them immediately. The artwork, the style, the animated sprites, the characters, the music, the Pokemon, everything. They were genuinely ahead of their time, and it hurts that they were hated so much, even if it was for understandable reasons. I'm just glad the community eventually came around and realized how good these games really were. Especially with things like this.
Nesstendo Kart I’m Working on a Rom Hack that allows you to battle N in the post game. He is powerful but your team has beaten the Ultimate Challenge, who’s team is Level 100. However, N is in his 40s because this the 20 years after Pokemon Sword and Shield in the mega timeline. If that was not enough Gen 5 Nostalgia, you can also battle Hilbert and something else is that the credits theme is Unwavering emotions. Honestly, I loved my first Pokemon game, Sapphire. But now I realized, Black and White is my favorite. The characters were so fun to see devoloping. The team was awesome too! Liberating Pokemon, they tried to do it, but they did it in a wrong way. And N, my favorite Pokemon character touched my heart when he left and gone missing. Searching for what's missing inside him. Along with the two trainers searching for him. Amazing music, original Pokemon everything was awesome. (Protagonists looked really cool, finally teenagers!)
IMO Pokémon Black and White was one of the best games out of all the Pokémon games. I mean the story and the gameplay is freaking amazing! And the characters with their back story is also amazing! Even Black and White 2 it's still as great as the first one. I don't know how they did it, but Gamefreak thank you for Pokémon Black and White and it's amazing Story!
maskman 178 ...I don't think anybody could say it better. Black 2 was my beginning, Oshawott my starter, and Gen 5 is awesome. I feel like #neverforget is appropriate for some reason... the song?
Honestly as it stands, Pokemon Black and White used to be my favourite games of all time, then the sequels came out and they were my favourites, then X and Y came out, didn't like them quite as much, as for sun and moon, it's getting played, might take a while to beat though. What I'm trying to say is that Gen 5 is also my favourite generation, even if it is just pure nostalgia. I can definitely admit that Black and White have their flaws and that Black and White 2 are better...in most ways, but even still I love both games, even if outside of Pokemon other games are my favourites.
"(Player)! You said you have a dream... That dream... Make it come true! Wonderful dreams and ideals give you the power to change the world! If anyone can, it's you! (Player)! Well, then... Farewell!" -N
Goodbye, and rest in peace, Mr Lawrence Anthony. Thank you so much for everything you've done. We miss you so much, and we may we see each other again in heaven.
my friend noah just died in a car crash yesterday and this song played at his celebration of life today, we were both pokemon fans and this was the coolest thing i possibly could have heard. i’ll miss you and battling your team buddy.
Soon, the decade will be over. I wanted to take a moment to appreciate the game that started it all for me. Pokémon has taught me so much, and I hope it continues to give me happy moments and memories that brings a smile to my face whenever I’m sad.
I cry from everyones' stories. Stories of how much this game means to them, stories about loved ones lost, and stories about having saves corrupt or being robbed...
I have been looking for this damn song for YEARS. Takes me back to not only the first time I played Black & White, but simpler times in general. Definitely one of my favorite Pokemon songs ever made. Thank you, Pokemon.
I never played black and white. My family couldn't afford a DS and I had no idea that emulators existed. But I watched the black and white part of the Pokemon anime. It was what got me into the community all those years ago, so Unova still holds a special place in my heart. I hope to one day buy my own DS and finally experience the region that gave me so many fond memories.
Man I miss these days a a kid coming home from school to play black and white, crazy how fast time flies… but this song will always hold a special place in my heart… truly the best game ever made
dont know why but this always makes me cry, i hear it in memes all the time but the SUPRISE when i was replaying Black the other day just actually tears started coming...
I remember, when i was 5 years old, my parents gave me a nintendo Ds with Black 2 inside. I hardly knew how to read but, hey, it was fun! Nowadays, when I remember that days, I listen to this and I cry... Thanks for all, Unova! Y'always be my fav region! Thx for all the hours spent with Black 2!
(I’m making some of this up, keep that in mind, also listen to the music as you read) “Remember when we first met... you said you had a dream...” “That dream... that dream, you shall fulfill it!” “Fulfill it, together with your Pokémon,... for,.. it is for whom it will be fulfilled for...” “This.. is what I have returned to you for. Farewell.” N said, as he flew off with Reshiram, returning home. Where is home? Who knows, if you will see him once more, for that may have been the final farewell. Thank you for reading! 😊
I will always remember the fateful day when I first heard this music. It was a winter day and I had begun playing Pokémon white that very morning. I played the game all day encaptured by the beautiful storyline and the hundred new gen 5 Pokémon that I now had the opportunity to make friends with. It was that night that while hiding under the covers of my bead so that my parents wouldn’t see that I first witness the scene where Bianca is confronted by her overprotective father. At that moment listening to that music it’s difficult to describe how I felt. Even though the beautiful melody brought tears to my eyes and a strange warmth to my heart I did not feel sad in fact I felt what you call...gratitude? Though my reaction could seem excessive and uncalled for to a less understanding person and some of the people I have told laughed at me I feel absolutely no regret for my one moment of beautifully raw and pure emotion. Although I have been going on for some time I suppose what I’m am trying to say is just thank you. Thank you so very much for giving me that experience and even thank you to the owner of the RUclips channel for helping me to relieve it even the tiniest bit. I just hope that some other people have and will share my experience. Good luck to all trainers. I have a lot of love for this community.
@@dioppio1487 in the first years of RUclips, there were no replies, since no comment section would have more than 50 comments, so ppl only answered others normaly as comments, and today they are basically lost reliques that doesn't make sense
I almost cried when I found Cheren and this played. His words and the music were just beautiful. I seriously thought I would never see him again. Until I found him again.
When I first moved out of my parents' house, I was pretty devastated by it. It was around that time I was getting back into Pokémon and started with Black and White. I have such fond memories of that time, not just of the game, but because it was around that time I learned to do things for myself. B&W(along with Tales of Xillia) helped me become a better person.
coming here after hearing the news about Masuda.... gods this hits so different realizing these were the 2nd to last original mainline games he directed, yet people still bash him for what was probably a decision taken by The Pokemon Company after the lacking sales of Gen 5, not to say he's free from fault, but he still gave his all for the games and this community thank you Masuda, for giving us solid soundtracks all these years and here's to hoping you can help push the direction of the franchise into what you believe it truly needs with your new position in The Pokemon Company
Top 5 Pokemon game songs: 1. Unwavering Emotions 2. Pokemon League Night (Diamond and Pearl) 3. Route 47/48 (HeartGold and Soulsilver) 4. Pokemon League (Indigo Plateau; Red and Blue) 5. Route 3 (Red and Blue) These aren't in any order.
I'm replaying White after YEARS of not touching the game and this song gave me so much nostalgia when it came on. I can't believe it's been 6 years since this game came out. That means that at the latest I got this game 5 years ago. I was 7-8 years old! It was the 3rd pokemon game I'd ever completed but the first that I owned. God I love gen 5...
This game will forever be one of the best Pokemon games ever, it may not be the best, but it's deffinately one to remember and cherish for a long time to come...
this music showed me that black and white was something special,in my opinion every pokemon game leading up to it was mediocre with simple and boring design.but when black and white has character development accomponied with music like this. it made me look deeper into the game,i love how fast the battle system,i love the story,i love the music.and i love this scene.it has real character.theres no good or bad, bianca and her dad both want good things, just in different ways. this game shows that pokemon can be good if game freak try hard enough.it was different then every other game in the series. with fast battle systems and compelling storys.the game meant something black 2 was my first pokemon game,i have a lot of nostalgia for the game, but because its just a great game.
This song and Exile Vilify illustrate perfectly how tight of a grasp pianos can have on our emotions. Both are some of the only songs able to bring me to tears.
I remember when I was little, I always wanted to play pokemon. On one fateful day, my parents took me out to get my first pokemon game. I don't even remember why, because it didn't matter. I was instantly head over heels in love with the game. And little did I know how much it would continue to influence me, even 11 years later. Funniest part about it was that my first game was bw2. And yet although I was too young to understand the game, I knew I wanted to keep playing. I wanted to see my pokemon again, every single day. Even after beating the game. And then my save file went corrupt. I was as devastated as an eight year old boy could be. My serperior, who I felt most attached to out of all, was gone for good. Everything I'd done, all the fun times I'd had, all melted away in an instant. But even after that heaping pile of heartbreak, I started the game again. I played through it again, but I never managed to beat it. It wasn't about beating the game, it wasn't about being better than my friends. I wanted to have fun. So I did, and I still do. I will always miss my serperior, and like most, I will miss that first playthrough. What I'd give to forget it all, and start again... and all this over a game? Seriously, gamefreak. Nintendo. The pokemon company. You've stolen my heart, my childhood, and I couldn't be more grateful.
I have never played a Pokemon game, and I don't know the context of this music but I'm on the verge of tears just listening! Dang, this is a powerful song!
I've been playing Pokémon all my life. Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, Emerald, Platinum, the list goes on. But I never played generation 5. After having heard this song, I realize I absolutely must.
When I played as a child, I remember that I replayed the same part more times just for listen the song again. The most incredible thing is that is the soundtrack of a common NPC... if I'm not wrong, when Belle and her dad talked again after a long time... I already thought that it was incredibile... I've never found it 'till now
I remember first time I heard this song I couldn't help but cry. B&W came out when I was in 5th grade and those were amazing time.. id give a lot to go back to that year
Fun Fact: As of 2022, Pokémon Black & White and their sequels are next in line to get a remake (if we ignore Let's Go Johto, which will probably happen too).
The remastered versions of songs in XY really hit me hard. I was playing at 1 in the morning when I stumbled across this. I cried a little. These games will always hold a dear place in my heart.
This hits me in the feels every time i listen to it... there are always tears in my eyes... I am 15 now and gen 5 is my childhood. It will always have a special place in my heart :)
Gen 5 was the best generation. I loved every second of the game and hearing this song again brought all the memories back. Even though I had forgotten about it for some time it never left my heart. No matter how old I get Pokémon will always be my favorite franchise, for there is no age limit on joy. To all those who are struggling on top of the pandemic my best wishes go out to you and your families. Love one another and spread kindness. The world may be complicated right now and forever after but we have remain strong. You are loved. Never stop smiling and remember the ones you love. Stay strong 2021
This song has been there for me and always will be and so will Rosalinas Comet Observeratory i played this over and over for 2 years now and I loved it.....it brings back so many memories I've played every pokemon game you could think of and I loved those games :)
I'm looking back on the last 5, 10, 13 years of my education as it finally comes to an end... this was at the end of middle school, and it's at the end of high school... it will forever bring me to tears, it's that powerful
This song just makes me get so touchy and warm, and it makes me remember the days when I played pokemon with my elementary schools friends everyday during summer
Tomorrow is legendary raid hour in PoGo for reshiram, my first ever box legendary. Pokemon Black introduced me to everything, I evolved my first rhydon tonight to have optimal counters against him and wow what a journey he's been on since 2017. Incredible how close we can grow with our little collections of pokemon ..
I'm moving to Maryland in exactly 3 days, and i'm sobbing as i'm messaging everyone in our group chat. I hope they will be my friends. Forever. I sent them this song, and now I'm even more sad.
When you see these videos and find all the Gen 5 fans, it’s good to hear after a while of Gen 5 hate. My favorite Pokemon is a Gen 5 Pokemon! Before you ask, it’s Cofagrigus. I have always found Egyptian mythology cool so a Pokémon that is literally a Sarcophagus. Pretty cool. Oh did I say Cofagrigus has the same defense as Zamazenta Crowned. Yeah. It’s good to relax in the zone of Gen 5 fans.
When I was playing X, I ran into an NPC who asks you to listen to his song. I selected yes and this started playing. Tears were shed that night, for I loved Unova like you wouldn't believe.

I can definitely admit that Black and White have their flaws and that Black and White 2 are better...in most ways, but even still I love both games, even if outside of Pokemon other games are my favourites.
The story, gameplay, and characters in gen 5 all suck

Most emotional song I've ever heard with no lyrics. Truly a classic
I KNOW RIGHT? I nearly cried when I first heard this in 2011 originally.
That's called music my friend.
everyone is remembering it because they liked pokemon but
im just like "ok remember that one roblox game"
Listen to pretty lights
Unwavering Emotion and Undertale 071 are the saddest in my opinion..
I feel words can’t describe the emotions Pokemon black and white produce for me. These games mean so much to me
"(Player)! You said you have a dream... That dream... Make it come true! Wonderful dreams and ideals give you the power to change the world! If anyone can, it's you! (Player)! Well, then... Farewell!"

This is the song I've been searching for ever since I played BW. I've never told this to anyone but this is the song I always listen to when I cry.
Hard to believe someone named SadisticSarcasm would do such a thing
Try emulating on phone?
I present to you: the most iconic song in Pokémon history
from the best gen ever❤❤
This is the only piece of music that makes me cry
This songs keeps reminding me of memories back in the days
Me too! 💔🥹
Man I miss these days a a kid coming home from school to play black and white, crazy how fast time flies… but this song will always hold a special place in my heart… truly the best game ever made
The burrito edition
dont know why but this always makes me cry, i hear it in memes all the time but the SUPRISE when i was replaying Black the other day just actually tears started coming...
You know, gen 5 was when I really got into Pokémon and this really brings back memories
Same here brother
I remember, when i was 5 years old, my parents gave me a nintendo Ds with Black 2 inside. I hardly knew how to read but, hey, it was fun! Nowadays, when I remember that days, I listen to this and I cry... Thanks for all, Unova! Y'always be my fav region! Thx for all the hours spent with Black 2!
I cried when this started playing and its a pokemon game I hold dear to my heart
So long, GilvaSunner, and thanks for the rips.
may he be remembered
"Bianca! please come home! please forget this journey business, you are not ready!"
this song has a place in my heart man.
(I’m making some of this up, keep that in mind, also listen to the music as you read)
“Remember when we first met... you said you had a dream...”
“That dream... that dream, you shall fulfill it!”
“Fulfill it, together with your Pokémon,... for,.. it is for whom it will be fulfilled for...”
“This.. is what I have returned to you for. Farewell.”
N said, as he flew off with Reshiram, returning home.
Woah woah woah calm down did your teacher give you an A for that since it was probably definitely an essay
Like you could make this 50 words if you really shorten it
The saddest part is that this song only plays once the whole game...
It plays in post game too when you first talk to Cheren
Imagine making a whole soundtrack for it to be used once
Crazy how time flys, it’s been an incredibly short past 3 years. Here’s to the good, the bad, and the new. To a good year, and many more!
Black and while had really Good ost. No nostalgai involved just really well composed and Nicely orchastrated tracks.
I think nostalgia plays for me a bot, but I don't see anything wrong with it
Im sorry to hear tht. But keep her close your heart ok. That's how she stays with you. I wish her the best in the world above. And stay strong
Luis Morales. were you replying to vixen jay's comment above?almost the whole comment gave it away.
Uhhhhh who are you saying that to?
@@dioppio1487 in the first years of RUclips, there were no replies, since no comment section would have more than 50 comments, so ppl only answered others normaly as comments, and today they are basically lost reliques that doesn't make sense
I almost cried when I found Cheren and this played. His words and the music were just beautiful. I seriously thought I would never see him again. Until I found him again.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who got chills listening to this for the first time
When I first moved out of my parents' house, I was pretty devastated by it.
Top 5 Pokemon game songs:
1. Unwavering Emotions
2. Pokemon League Night (Diamond and Pearl)
3. Route 47/48 (HeartGold and Soulsilver)
4. Pokemon League (Indigo Plateau; Red and Blue)
5. Route 3 (Red and Blue)
These aren't in any order.
What about Oracion
Adrian Martinez Oracion was never in the games
Zak Rosenfeld it's still pokemon and sad
Adrian Martinez It's actually "Oración".
J Lander Dark Cave (HGSS version) is amazing in my opinion, one song that just got stuck in my head
.
That's a very sad music.. I felt emotional and I had goosebumps after hearing it.. Pokemon Black and White... I miss you!!!
Typhon Chara for me this song isn't sad. It has to warm tone to be sad, it's hopeful for me. Of course it's only my opinion!
May God allows us to be alive when gen5 gets a remake, it is on the horizon
For me, B/W has the better OST of all pokemon, you really feel the mood, it fits very well with the story these games want to tell
Just imagine yourself in the school bus playing this with your head against the window and outside pouring rain with the bus’s heater on
I'm replaying White after YEARS of not touching the game and this song gave me so much nostalgia when it came on. I can't believe it's been 6 years since this game came out. That means that at the latest I got this game 5 years ago. I was 7-8 years old! It was the 3rd pokemon game I'd ever completed but the first that I owned. God I love gen 5...
Pokémon black and white is the best and no one can tell me otherwise. So many memories were made and I thank it for them
This game will forever be one of the best Pokemon games ever, it may not be the best, but it's deffinately one to remember and cherish for a long time to come...
I came here to cry out my tears for Adobe Flash Player being gone forever.
this music showed me that black and white was something special,in my opinion every pokemon game leading up to it was mediocre with simple and boring design.but when black and white has character development accomponied with music like this. it made me look deeper into the game,i love how fast the battle system,i love the story,i love the music.and i love this scene.it has real character.theres no good or bad, bianca and her dad both want good things, just in different ways.
this game shows that pokemon can be good if game freak try hard enough.it was different then every other game in the series. with fast battle systems and compelling storys.the game meant something
black 2 was my first pokemon game,i have a lot of nostalgia for the game, but because its just a great game.
Best piece of music to come from the entire franchise
This song and Exile Vilify illustrate perfectly how tight of a grasp pianos can have on our emotions. Both are some of the only songs able to bring me to tears.
when Bianca and her dad had that moment. My heart was trembling.
This song brings back memories from so long ago makes you wonder, where did it all go wrong
I have never played a Pokemon game, and I don't know the context of this music but I'm on the verge of tears just listening! Dang, this is a powerful song!
My grandmother gave me white 2 when I was a kid, and I got white a while later. Unova will always hold a place in my heart
I've been playing Pokémon all my life. Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, Emerald, Platinum, the list goes on. But I never played generation 5. After having heard this song, I realize I absolutely must.
literally searched up "that sad pokemon music"
exactly what I was looking for
Oh wow.. I actually tried that and it worked. *Even RUclips knows how it feels.*
Perfect
When I played as a child, I remember that I replayed the same part more times just for listen the song again. The most incredible thing is that is the soundtrack of a common NPC... if I'm not wrong, when Belle and her dad talked again after a long time... I already thought that it was incredibile... I've never found it 'till now
Black and white remakes...come soon...please...
Yes omg I want it bw is my most fav game next to soul silver
According to some fan's pattern, Sinnoh is next.
Sinnoh's crap. I don't know why but I want a BW remake already, I never played the game...
I really want one too, especially since I never played the games :((((
I really want a B/W Remake NOW! Not Sinnoh! They are obviously gonna make that one the best one! (PS I hate Sinnoh)
My first ever pokemon game I played
I want to play it again
Emulate it with Desmume, it’s what I’m doing and I’m reliving my childhood, so can you!
@spiderz5145 omggg tysm!
@ no problem! Enjoy!
Oh yeah I remember... When pokemon was good. It was fun.
I cried when I first heard it... I still get chills every time.
The remastered versions of songs in XY really hit me hard. I was playing at 1 in the morning when I stumbled across this. I cried a little. These games will always hold a dear place in my heart.
This is the only song in any video game I've played to date, to make me physically put my game down and just listen.
Black and white and black and white 2 are def in my top pokemon games
And this song is just one of the reasons why i love them, beautiful song
This song just makes me get so touchy and warm, and it makes me remember the days when I played pokemon with my elementary schools friends everyday during summer
Tomorrow is legendary raid hour in PoGo for reshiram, my first ever box legendary. Pokemon Black introduced me to everything, I evolved my first rhydon tonight to have optimal counters against him and wow what a journey he's been on since 2017. Incredible how close we can grow with our little collections of pokemon ..
Every Pokémon game has one piece of music that sticks out from the rest. This is one of those. Probably the best piece of music in a Pokémon game.
Esta canción me recuerda todos los momentos hermosos que pasamos y pasaremos juntos.

The memories of this game
I'm moving to Maryland in exactly 3 days, and i'm sobbing as i'm messaging everyone in our group chat. I hope they will be my friends. Forever.
I sent them this song, and now I'm even more sad.
Uh. I'm late, but I from Bethesda, MD say welcome!
When you realize that it's Modric's last European Championship
All it takes is the opening bits of this song to bring me to tears, Unova, the games, how life was when I got to play them, it’s all just so special
I had no idea this was a Pokémon soundtrack lmao
So many memories of playing through black and white, what a great game.
The flashbacks made me have many tears. N was a truly special character. I miss him :/
