I got to sail on one in Beach Haven, NJ Her name was the Sarah Gamp. Beautiful sailboat. It was from Connecticut. Captain and first mate were cruising the ICW. I told them its very shallow thru South Jersey and to head back out Little Egg Harbor inlet to Cape May Canal and anchor up near Coast Guard base. Then South to Ocean City MD or cruise up Delaware River on in coming tide to C&D canal. Stay in Chesapeake City for night then head out to Elk River into Chesapeake. Last i heard from them they were in Elizabeth City.
They really are pretty boats
I hope to visit Maine to see one of these boats or even to sail with one, would love that since I read 'Princess' 35 years ago.
