When you first start the standards rx with your students do you sit down with each group and explain each activity? Or do you have them work completely independent?

How often do you do this? And at what point of the unit?

What do you put in your gradebook for this? The rubric points or the score they get on the "assignment"?

One major grade using the rubric points because, due to the varying difficulty, some students might complete one assignment and others might complete three.

So, I have “flex” classes. This is where I have a regular class for 60 minutes and after that I have an intervention class for 30 minutes (3 times a day) each day. Would you recommend doing this during my “flex” classes?

@@teachingintentionally5606 Great! This is my first year teaching and I really want to utilize these “flex” times to support my students.
