I grew up here. Laguna Niguel/Aliso Niguel/Mission Viejo has changed so much over the years. I miss the old locations of laguna niguel between 1998-2003. Then they started building these apartment buildings on Cabot Rd then more apartments were built. To prove I was from there, Skye apartments is sitting on old steakhouse restaurant that was on cabot rd next to the Charles Schwab glass building near costco. Thanks for making this video! makes me miss laguna niguel! it was a pleasant time to grown up there.

I miss the old Orange County, period, when there was a Farmer’s Co-op in Fullerton at the corner of State College Boulevard and Chapman Avenue, and cows and horses dotted the surrounding rolling hills, I learned to drive in Yorba Linda, when Imperial Highway was a two-lane road through avocado groves, with swinging traffic lights and a volunteer fire department. Irvine and Laguna Niguel were Orange groves. Where South Coast Plaza is now, there were fields of strawberries, and when the exit of Myford Road on I-5 was a path to Myford Farm. Too many people have changed it irrevocably, and it breaks my heart.

If you join a community in laguna niguel, prepare to be secluded (especially if you are colored and a mother). The "mom brigades" here are notoriously racist towards non whites. If you are hispanic and a female, they instantly think you either A) you married a rich white man B) the rich white man married their cleaning lady. If you are a hispanic male, they know you have money but will still see you as someone who serves their fish tacos at Wahoo's during their ladies brunch dates. Overall, OC is a nice place to retire.
