- New concealed carry piece. . . excuse to make a new holster! This time for my new M&P Bodyguard 380. I've made leather pocket holsters like this before, but this time I included a front sight channel. This helps keep it from catching as the pistol is withdrawn.
The sponsor for this video, WUTA Leather, is one of those instances where I reached out to a company looking for collaboration opportunities. I've purchased several of their products through Amazon and have been impressed with their quality vs price. They were cool with it and sent me a few items I was in need of. In short, you don't have to spend a lot for good quality leather working tools.
I also asked for a discount for my viewers and WUTA gave me a code for purchasing direct from them (note I receive no commissions or kickbacks for this):

It's a free lesson from a top Kraft Expert every time I watch your videos - THANK YOU.
Thanks for watching!
Love the execution of the site channel into that holster design! Very unique!
Good morning! Awesome work as usual. Hmmm….what ‘cha got in that box? 😏
Some day I'll show my viewers what's kept in the top drawer. . .
Good job! I liked the way you dealt with the sight channel, the circle blade was a lightbulb moment. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
We're truly watching a master at work! well done.
Thanks for watching!
Good to see I'm not the only one to use craft foam as "simile" of leather.
It's a lot easier and cheaper to work with.
Nice work. For pocket carry, I use rough side out and smooth side in. Grabs pocket material better & helps to ensure holster stays in pocket and doesn't come out with the draw.
Good idea! Thanks for watching!
Holster looks great. I have the BG as well. Look into getting the Galloway Santiago trigger system. Reduces the stroke length and smooths everything out. Same weight trigger, just much smoother and no light strikes.
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the tip.
Oooooh, a cliff hanger! I'm totally drawn in now!
Thanks for watching!
I love the elegant but simplistic approach. I tried a square end for the top of the gun and sight channel a few years ago. Yours turned out much better. The natural look was brilliant. Any thing else would have been a distraction to the final product. As usual you have given me a new approach to a future project. THANK YOU, please keep sharing and inspiring.👍👍
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I carry the S&W Body Guard myself, along with the Ruger LCP Max with the 12 round mag. Over the years I’ve been using virgin olive oil instead of neatfoot for my holsters, saddles and original antique western rigs. I found it keeps the leather fibers together over time.
Your work is an inspiration.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the demonstration! I was literally just thinking “How do pocket holsters work?” And then you did the thing with the fingers 😂 well done as always, sir
Glad it was helpful!
The holster stays in the pocket. In my opinion. Unless you put it someplace else. Then flick it off with your finger.
I use that same craft foam for prototyping leather projects as well.
Heck of a lot cheaper experimenting with foam than using the real stuff.
@@RoadAgentLeather Exactly! i also use it for padding on the guitar straps I made.
Sencillo pero increíble 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful work as always 🥰🥰
Thanks again
Neat. I’ve been wanting to make something similar for myself, thank you for the inspiration. Now where did I put those round toits…..
Glad I could help!
Nice,
Thanks
Just seen this video. Love it as always Love what you make. Everything you make is so gorgeous.
Muy buen trabajo👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
I was browsing thru your wonderful videos, as I sometimes do and realized I have never seen a good video on making a jackass rig. I want to make one but need some guidance. I know that would be long, but you did The Hand of God in several videos. Just a thought. Love your designs.
Thanks for watching. I've haven't made one of those yet. Perhaps content for a future video?
Saw your "Doc Holiday" shoulder rig and I loved it, then I found this one so I subscribed, I wondered if you made a pocket holster for a Sig P938 Legion 9mm, a single stack 7+1?
Hi. Thanks for subscribing! Unfortunately I don't!
You always do beautiful work whether it's a simple pocket holster or a tooled gun belt and holster! As a side note, I own one of those particular pieces and its my least favorite of all i own! I can't hit anything if its out of arms reach and the trigger pull feels like its a half mile! 😂😂
Thanks for watching!
Like. Very Good!
Thanks for the visit
A very nice and different pocket holster design! What oz leather was the main body?
Thanks! The main body was 4-5 oz veg-tan
What kind of knive were you using to cut out the leather that long slender blade works on curves
Thanks
That is a Flexcut Mini Pelican knife I purchased from Woodcraft. (It's a woodworking knife technically)
What is that you use to stitch everything together?
Nice build! What is the round gouge you're using to cut the channel?
Thanks! It's an X-acto router blade. They come in different shapes.
@@RoadAgentLeather Thankyou!
Do you have a pattern available for this just curious I like the design
Thanks for subscribing! No pattern really: I just made this up as I went.
Your welcome love watching your videos
Pocket carry is good now a days. Especially in states with red flag laws.
I made mine from goatskin that I had laying around for a long time. Its not real pretty but it keeps coins and keys from scratching the barrel crown. Also the covered trigger helps in keeping pens or anything else from pressing the trigger accidently when putting it in your pocket.
Timely video sir! Thanks.
True. 99% of the time, it's pocket carry for me.
You should really consider putting the other stuff in a different pocket.
💯😊😊😁😁🤗
Well Done... ';-)
👍✋️🇧🇾
What’s in the box? What’s in the bahhhhhhhhhhhbox? Seriously…I’m actually asking.
only when my subscribers are ready will I reveal what's in the top of my toolbox.
:Brad Pitt voice:
WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!?
Когда вы снимаете видео, неужели нельзя привести в порядок ногти???
Это не канал о красоте 🤦♂️💅
@@Jota-rc8yq Я понимаю,но зритель обращает внимание на всё
Very unique design. As always, I couldn't wait till I got time to watch your video. So is the chest a teaser of something to come, or just a clever ending? 🫣🤔
