Interesting comparison. I’m actually looking to maybe get hold of a fender pb62 with us pickups and hardware. You have a original 60’s fender p bass. How does the pb62-900 and 500 compare in sound and tone?
The 900 is pretty good, and it's easier to play and use than the vintage! The sound of the original vintage is deeper. I think the 500 will be better if the pickup and electrical system are replaced
@@naototada as i saw this video i looked through your videos and saw you did a comparison of your vintage p bass to the pb62-50. The difference in how the pick ups sound is vast. I agree the vintage is deeper and compressed. I played a 63 p bass all original and funny enough the wider neck was fine for my hands lol. On forums people say what you suggested regarding changing pick ups, wiring and pots. the pb62-900 usa pickups did have similar deeper compressed tone. Not completely the same but closer. finding period pickups like your 60 pbass would be very hard i would presume. you have help me alot in comparison. thanks alot. Hi,thanks! Tokai is a great bass, I like too.Tokai sound is powerful mid range. sound is very Grawl!! Fender Japan suppresses them, but I personally think that it has a wide range and matches various music.

Aランク仕様が5万？聞き捨てならない！900良いですね〜。500は厚みのある柔らかな音で900はシャープだけど深みのある音で指弾きの時点でグルーヴしていて尚人さんぽい感じがしました(私はこちらが好みです)。スラップ奏法で違いが歴然ですね！フェンダージャパンも奥が深そう..勉強になります！ありがとうございます！次回も楽しみにしております🔥

この動画見落としてました。900はプルした時の残音が500と違うと思いました。ただ500の音すごくいいですね！
指板も黒くていい材使ってますよね～
もちろんダイナの頃や今のフェンジャパも造りが良いとおもいますが、Fujigenの頃はやはり良い材が沢山選べたのかなぁと思います。
@@naototada 材に関しては本当にそうですよね。特にローズ指板はダイナになってからは、上位機種でも色が薄くなってますよね。
