Die hard golfer here. Slightly torturous, I have only had the pleasure of seeing shadow creek from the club house. A service trade worker I only get to salivate at the sight and imagine what if…. Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Glad I could show you the whole course in this vlog
I golfed SC once. My MGM Grand casino host hooked me and a business partner up back in 2019. I birdie'd the 8th hole. I remember the beauty of the t-shot to this day. Great course!
Awesome! What a day!
It appears that the face is dancing around throughout your swing. It's amazing how much club face control you have at impact. Great score.
You are not wrong, I do have a bit extra movement in my swing that I always try to work on and improve, but I'm a feel player and you're right I do have a good clubface awareness which helps me score well
Great video and commentary! Planning a trip to Vegas next year and this course will be on the list. Keep it up!
Awesome! Thank you for the support
Having walked this course 6 times (walking scorer for the LPGA match play), I can attest to it being a real beauty of a course (but a TOUGH walk!). Saving my money for the bucket list golf trip to Scotland in 2025!
I like how you roll! Have fun in Scotland
@@cyruspga Can't wait for that! The physical training has begun ... the golf can use a lot of work, but I plan on surviving on the vibes of being in home of golf!
Appreciate the video and sharing this experience at a very exclusive and noteworthy golf course. Loved the commentary!
Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for posting! GREAT WORK!
Glad you enjoyed it!
About a 75 minute drive northeast from Vegas you can play Wolf Creek in Mesquite for about $150, way more picturesque.
I've lived in Vegas for 2 years now and haven't made it there yet! Need to record a vlog there next
For that money, you could play Pebble Beach one day. The next day, you could play Spyglass Hill then Cypress Point.
Well not exactly, need to stay 2 nights in pebble resort to play pebble, and Cypress only with a member
@@cyruspga I'm merely name those courses as an example, but... Bandon Dunes is rated #2 in the US for public golf. Their green fee for non-resort guests $390. And if you stayed there, you can play Old McDonald, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails or Sheep's Ranch for the same price. All five of those courses are top 15 in the US. You can play all 5 just tad under $2K, but you get my point.
Just added this to my list to play in Vegas
It’s by far the best!
Great channel! Looks like you have played some amazing course over the years. Question - Take away all the history and prestige of every course, what is your all-time favorite course?
Awesome question Jason! Favorite course all time...wow what a question...it actually might be Hamilton Golf &CC outside of Toronto. It absolutely incredible...all 27 holes are simply amazing and as soon as I finished I said this is the course I would love to join and play every day
Thanks, guess I'll be googling it to see!!!! @@cyruspga
Wow... that par save on the 6th was ♨
Thank you! Glad someone caught that, my best one of the year!
20 handicap golfer here. I’ve played shadow creek about a dozen times. It’s ok I guess. Most just play it to brag to friends back home.
Yeah 👍🏼 it’s definitely one of those bucket list course that people want to brag about…I’ve played it twice now, always a nice little experience
Shadow Creek is worth every penny. It's 18 signature holes and #17 being my favorite. You didn't really get to see how beautiful it is in the video. I've player Pebble Beach (made wonderful by it's history) Cypress Point "The Point" in Pebble is an absolutely marvelous track. I've also played San Francisco GC IN San Fran and what a treat that is! And lastly I played the Olympic Club, which is awesome! But there's just something about Shadow Creek that's just stood out. Not sure why. But it's a treat and plus like what was said: you can play that course if you want to pay for it unlike the other courses I mentioned. Go play it!!
Awesome comment! So glad you enjoyed your SC experience, 17 is an absolute gem but I honestly love everything about the course, the whole experience is first class for sure!
I was lucky enough to play here a few years back with my father. The course was magnificent but honestly my favorite part was being in the locker room with names on them like "Alex Rodriguez, President Bush, President Obama, Sylvester Stallone, Derek Jeter" and the list went on. That was really cool. And also only being allowed to arrive and leave via limousine felt pretty cool.
So true Ryan! That locker room is amazing, I had Julius Erving locker my first visit and everything is just such a cool experience
Nice ball striking....seems like you get across the line at the top then sling it back on plane....nice consistent move....do you rate shadow higher than cascsta?
I do, but of a quirky move at the top, but I just focus on my impact position and short game...putting was so poor in this video..but all good! Had a blast....Yes Shadow hands down is the best course in Vegas and nothing is even remotely close....I would put Southern Highlands 2nd best....Summit Club is really nice conditions probably 3rd....but I love Cascata too! Made a full vlog there too: ruclips.net/video/W421zMBdNX4/видео.html
Played 27 holes there. 3 holes in the +4 caddie grabbed his sticks and played with us upon our request. I shot 73 with 5 birdies 😛 on the first 18. The last nine, I was too high and drunk to remember. Pure track with a killer staff!
Wow! Love the way you roll Paul, awesome story!
I like this vlog style would like to see more!
Awesome! Appreciate the feedback
This is a well done video !
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it
After spending $300 each to play Carnoustie & St Andrews, I can't see spending more than that for any other courses in the world. I thought Whistling Straits was high at $650.
$300 for those courses is well worth it! I agree $650 for Whistling is a bit much
Was the caddie moving in 50% or 75% of your putts? Imagine paying 2k and having to tell your caddie to stop moving so much while ur putting lol
I think I was more frustrated with some of the reads....I hit some decent putts that were way off on the line
Just play Primm Valley a reasonable priced Fazio alternative.
Yes! I've heard great things, haven't been there yet
What tees you play? Nice round wish you could have scored better though.
Haha 🤣 yeah I hit the ball as best as I could off the tee, if I could have made some putts easily could have been 4-5 shots lower! I was playing one up from the championship tees
Great work
Thank you so much 😀
You can’t know from a 10-11-12 on greens speed (Stimpmeter)
Only way to know is to play them
You really pick the club up
Gotta swing my swing
You'd think for that price, your caddie would know how to read a green
haha 😂 I'll take the blame on some of those missed putt too!
Dude. you don't "buy" a round at that club.
it's purpose is to cool a hot hand by taking them out of the casino....
Haha oh I know! SC is all about hosting big whales and gamblers but you can buy a round at that club if you are regular public it’s just going to be one of the most expensive rounds of golf in the world!
No!! Chicago golf club. Check it out..
Not open to the public....elite private club but it's certainly not $1250 green fee to play there
Weird swing
Thank you! Gotta Swing your swing!
And you have a weird looking head Christopher
No it's not...!!! I paid $500 in 2018 staying at the Mirage which you have to in order to play it....then they limo you out and in ...!! I was the only one on course on a Tuesday...!!
Welcome to 2024 pricing my friend 😉 call the pro shop up, it’s $1250 for a tee time now
love the content but paying 1250,- is just too much x)
It's definitely a crazy amount...cost of everything just keeps going up and up!
Now you know why we have no water in the west!
Haha 😂 I can only imagine how much water it takes to keep it this lush
I live here in Nevada in a town of about 4000, they probably use more water in a day than our whole town uses in a week!
Did you mention the cost of the mandatory lodging at the MGM? Probably a factor in the overall cost of playing Shadow. Also, as of this comment, the green fee has risen to $1250.
Yeah stay at MGM will run you a minim of $150-200 for the night, all in its probably $2k for the day
Need to tip caddy too
I wouldn’t pay $1k
Yeah it’s expensive, no doubt about it
This is worse than listening to someone tell about their round shot by shot
This is literally someone telling about their round shot by shot....lol
STOP THE CLICKBAIT, YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THAT! Super Nice Course, I have played it twice. But I could never afford Augusta, Pine Valley, Merion, Sherwood, so NO, IT ISNT THE MOST EXPENSIVE GOLF COURSE IN THE WORLD, HELL, NOT EVEN IN AMERICA 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
It's not clickbait...Shadow Creek is more expensive than any of those courses! lol those clubs are just more exclusive, you can't get on them unless with a member...I've played Merion, guest fee was only $150 plus caddie fee, but it's getting on and playing with a member that's the hard part
@@cyruspgaI’m in the UK and was told Shadow Creek was the most expensive in the world, not just America - is there anyone out there charging more ?
Moose !!!
I'll take it
Want to hire caddy.
If you can read putts absolutely! 😂
Hey brother can I ask what kind of irons and clubs you're using please thank you
Yeah bro! I actually use pretty old clubs, my irons are Titleist 716 AP2s, my driver is Titleist TP3, and I use PXG wedges, with Scotty Cameron putter
@@cyruspga cool I'm using Ping Eye 2 and Qi 10 driver in woods
Christ that swing is cringe
Swing your swing 😉 happy to play you in a money match
You don’t know anything about greens speed..
I know quite a bit...come challenge me to a putting contest
Beautiful course but….2000 gimme a break!
It's definitely a stretch now that the green fee has increased and with the MGM hotel requirement
No thanks.
Fair enough
I don't care what anybody says this place don't have anything on Paiute😅😅 I can't believe people say this is one of the best courses in the country give me a break people🎉🎉 please wake up😅😅😅
No doubt about it, Paiute is amazing, it's an incredible facility and all 3 courses are gems...but Shadow is definitely a cut above as the place is pristine, layout awesome, and the overall experience really great....the prices are just getting absurd for the average person now...it's really the most expensive course in USA now....I was happy to have played it once, and if golf is your biggest passion in life, I really do think having a day at Shadow is worth it for the absolute diehard golfer
@@cyruspga thank you I will not be playing there I'll take your word for it
