If you guys wanna know exactly where it originated from, here it is. Way back las vegas casinos used to sell chicken entrees, almost every casino had them. The dishes all cost the same as a bet,so whenever you won, you won a chicken dinner.

They never accept sandwiches and immediately eliminate the person who serves something like that. Chef Alvin does it more often then the other judges.

@@bookfandom5333 Anybody can make a sandwich. It is lazy. Gordon Ramsay won't accept it in Masterchef US. Marco Pierre White won't accept it in Masterchef Australia. Even Christine Hà, the blind winner of Masterchef USA, won't accept it in Masterchef Vietnam. What makes you think sandwiches can compete against a dish like Phó or spaghetti? Just because it is served at restaurants, doesn't mean it is the same level as a dish that requires alot of prep and cooking time.
