I had my first crush this year, it lasted for about 7-8 months. I’ve never experienced something like this before, it was the worst and the best feeling at the same time. Sometimes I’d be blushing like an idiot and sometimes I’d be crying in the bathroom from anxiety, it really just depended. Eventually I told him how I felt, it was terrifying but somehow I found the strength to do it. It wasn’t cute really, I caught him after basketball one day and just kinda spat it out. The entire time I didn’t look at him, I was violently fidgeting with my hands, I felt like crying, I was falling over my words and stuttering, I couldn’t breath, it was awful. But he told me how he felt and even though he doesn’t feel the same way, we’re still friends. When we left he told me “that was really brave” and at that point I was speechless, I just walked away. On my walk home I cried, a lot. Not from heart break or rejection but I was just so relieved that he knew.
We’re not close at all, I wouldn’t even say we’re good friends. I’ve tried talking to him as friends but he’s quiet and doesn’t say much around me. I’ve tried so hard to keep him as a friend, but I don’t think he meant what he said and honestly, it hurts. This crush messed with me in more ways than one. The constant anxiety, the over thinking, the doubt and just about everything. You can’t make somebody love you and that’s just how it is, but I hoped we could’ve been friends, because I know he’s a good guy, but clearly it’s not really what he really wanted. I’m confused and sad. It sucks and it hurts. At this point I am just broken. Not just because of the crush but just so many other things over the year that have messed me up.

All I can think rn is why should I feel obliged to stay on this earth and feel like shit when I could be resting peacefully six feet under in a comfortable coffin dressed nicer than I ever have. But then the fear of putting my problems and the boulder of suicide on other ppl is too much to handle so I stay alive. I am hanging on by a thread and nobody knows... My parents tell me to talk to them but I can't find the confidence to open up to them. My friends tell me don't go bc I'll miss you. Yet my brain tells me just end it nobody even cares about you, or just one cut can't hurt right? But one cut turns into two, two turns into three and so on and so forth. I'm just stuck in a cycle and I want to break free but I can't. I know I won't live my whole life with the way things are going right now.

I will never dtand.in your way. But love ask yourself this. We all have to believe in something. Whats yours? Never stay alive for others. What a dressed up toxicity that cant build a platform. God bless you. Not a traditional christian. But know regardless of the lashing. Jesus loves you. Regardless if you disagree. You have me and so many others here. I feel this. I say with live but not as a hypocrite. Im fighting myself. I have my struggles and thats ok. We all go through things. Hope you find your direction and calling.
