I like how the girl scouts are more than willing to stay and fight a rabid animal that could literally give them a deadly disease, but a harmless naked turtle is where they draw the line and run away.
I absolutely love how Steve Carell turns Hammy into the absolute funniest character in Over The Hedge 🤣😂🤣😂
Hammy may be hilarious, but he was not the protagonist.

Those Girl Scouts did the exact opposite of what the book told them to do. It states that if you see a rabid animal, you should not panic, get away from the animal, and tell an adult right away. They freaked out and attacked Hammy, whom got "rescued" by Verne.
Because you always go exactly by the book when it tells you to do something, right?
Exactly what I was thinking! Rabid animals are already suffering enough, as it is.

Plankton ( PlankTON. ): There you are, Krabs~ ( he picks up Mr Krabs and then scratches his belly. Mr Krabs is panting like a real dog. ) I've been looking all over for you, good boy~ ( Mr Krabs licks his face and barks. ) Hehehe~
Squidward: ( laughs ) what the heck?! Hahaha!!
SpongeBob: ( runs up to Plankton with Sandy ( The Rodent ). ) What's going on here?
Plankton: ( holding Mr Krabs in his arms. ) Don't you guys recognize him? I mean, just look at him! ( He is now scratching Mr Krabs cheek as Mr Krabs pants like a real dog. ) He's the cutest little fella I've ever known in my entire life as a huge one-eyed guy~
Spongebob: Oh...
Fluffy: Looks like your weird dog bot nyeeds to go to obedience school~
Stacey, Marie and Sugary: yeeeaaahhh~
Plankton: Obedience school? We just trained him really well and stuff!
