Because it's Japan that started that vibe. Korea just copied. You should watch older J-dramas particularly from 1980's-1990's

Maybe try Memories of Alhambra. Its on Netflix but im sure u can find it somewhere else too. Its not necessarily like this one cuz it got fictional aspects to it but theres similar drama in the background. Its something different than any other korean dramas. About AR video game and stuff so its pretty interesting
