First off, this plugin is my favorite tape emulator, but what kept me going through the video was your beats and talkover voice. Well produced video and great song at the end.
@@TheUnperson in the 90s, we tried really hard to avoid the noises this plugin adds. We love the drive/compression aspects of tape. Which is a-law and u-law companding in digital (but nobody uses it because they watch youtubers instead of reading a text book). Tape is loved for non-linear dynamic range: why not use floating point quantization? This is flat as linear gets. Uniform LFO, to "emulate" tape head friction? A new tape and used deck are $10 cheaper than this garbage.
I know multiple serious award winning producers who LOVE this plug-in. Like “this is my favorite plug-in” kind of praise. It must be doing something right. It’s a totally different aesthetic, you’re either going to hate it or find it super fun. To each their own
So cool to hear Lewis Capaldi doing plugin demos.
Pretty sure it’s Peter capaldi
Nice traditional Scottish beats there

It’s easily my favourite plugin right now ☺️
Would this plugin work for GarageBand Mac ?
I've never used Garage Band but I think AU plugins are compatible, and Sketch Cassette 2 does come in AU format. :)
@@TheUnperson thanks man, it’s just the website wasn’t to specific about what daw it can be used with
Didn’t know Lewis Capaldi used Ableton!
It's a plugin worthy of ridicule- but you can't because the devs didn't take it or themselves seriously. +1 for troll control!!!
Honestly man, i love it! :D
