Sorry for the late reply. I have visited there twice, and each time I spent a couple of hours doing a couple short hikes and looking at the view points. As for driving to get there, depending on where you're coming from it could take a couple of hours. There aren't many big towns in that area near Windy Ridge. And thanks!
