Kyle’s family was given a settlement for 6 million dollars by the city for wrongful death as well as investing in more training and staffing for the 911 calling center
Honestly no amount of money can make up for their loss of their kid. 😢
GOOD I live here in Cincinnati and I'm surprised I never heard of this unfortunate news but just wish Kyle's Family are doing better now, praying for their loss and bless their hearts
That last story pissed me off I would’ve acted a plain fool if I was that kid dad not only did you allow him to wrongfully die you let him suffer 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
That story is sad honestly. You could even see how pissed off Kidd and Cee were at the end .
Those dispatchers need better training bruh.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bunch of prank calls that those dispatchers ended up taking a few times and they thought that was another prank call, there's only so many times you can pull that off before you begin to annoy someone and, in this example, the wrong person to annoy were the very people that were just trying to do their jobs and save people's lives, because there's a similar story to this where someone calls a dispatcher and over time the dispatchers begin to get more and more annoyed with this person constantly calling them, taking their time away from people that could ACTUALLY be in need of their help so you would literally just hear them become less and less serious with this person that calls them because they KNOW they aren't in need of any actual aid, now I'm not saying the boy did anything wrong in this regard I'm just pointing out that another person's idea of a prank can end up costing someone else their life.
I heard that last story on the news when it happened, it's really sad how the negligence of the operator caused his untimely death.
Back in 2009 we were sadly on our way to Mexico to take my grandfather to rest in his hometown, he passed away in Oklahoma. It was about 10pm and we were about an hr from our stop for that night. All of a sudden my 3 year old niece started screaming and crying. We couldn't figure out what was wrong,, we thought she was sleepy or tired of being in her car seat so we tried to keep her entertained but she kept screaming and crying. Then she started saying, "duele, duele" Which means hurt in Spanish and she pointed to her nose. After using a flashlight we saw what was causing her pain. We don't know how she got a hold of my mom's mint gum and after chewing it she decided to stick it up her nose. We tried getting it out and couldn't. Her little nose started bleeding and as we were nearing a small town we quickly called the other 2 cars that were caravaning with us and we all stopped at a clinic there where a nurse was quickly able to get the gum out.
Let me just say that, though we hated seeing her in pain, it did make us laugh a bit and, even for a moment we forgot the pain of losing my grandfather. We ended up getting to his hometown safely where we laid him to rest in the family plot.
The 2nd story is creepy and the. 3rd is just heartbreaking man 🥺
Bruh that 2nd dispatcher cause that kids death for not telling the officers more details. If they did, he could have been saved by the trunk opening up
I live 10 mins from where Kyle died. They played the 911 calls (portions) on the news here. TERRIBLE can't even begin to describe...
Omg! Kidd, my daughter did the same thing years ago, she put that stuffing up her nose and it was so far up that luckily I noticed by giving her a kiss goodnight and I could smell it 🤮…My husband had to take tweezers and pull it out! She had a BAD nose bleed afterwards.. she was only like 2!!!!
Merry Christmas to you both
