    I managed to remove negative Cronback alpha by removing regression outliers, look at Cook Distance.

    As an alternative reliability test, what do you think about McDonald’s Omega?

      Hi Lawrance, I would use Cronbach's alpha for measures that are essentially or strictly tau-equivalent (i.e., that measure a single common factor with equal loadings). McDonald's Omega can be used when the measures are unidimensional but don't have the same loadings (congeneric measurement model). Best, Christian Geiser
