Those long uncut shots and slow pans allowing the viewer to take in the details that catch their eye: the folds of hardened lava, the geometry of the lava rafts before the stream breaks in two, the thrashing of the lava in the crater....simply superb . Thanks for doing this for us!
That movie is an epic work of art and cinematography. The combination of soul stirring music and stunning photography should make it a contender for an award. Truly outstanding. The best I've seen yet. Thank you.

Great video. The volcano is resurfacing part of Iceland. Making its own hills and valleys. It’s as if the Earth is injured and it can’t stop bleeding. Best drone video I’ve seen.

All of the Iceland eruption videos make me cry - it's so amazing to watch. This id "geography" and "geology" actually happening in front of your eyes. Awe and Wonder.
This has to be the most beautiful volcano ever filmed. The barren setting makes it look like Earth in its youth, full of volcanoes, not much life. It's awe-inspiring and frightening in its power. Perfect spot for your great filming--really love these videos.
Yet another great shot of what is going on. From a distance with the cameras, you can only guess what is happening. With the fog, it is almost impossible to see anything, except for a red glow. You can now see very well how full these channels are, knowing that they are more than 10 metres deep and wide, the run-off volume must be much greater than the 11.3 m3 that they state. You can only enjoy it, because fair is fair, you have volcanic eruptions you'd rather not witness. Your choice of music is really perfect, every time in harmony with the image
You must remember that the volume is the average. So 30 m3/s in 8 hours is only 10 m3/s for the day. When the volcano take a day of ever so often that really drop the average. :-)

On the land next to it are two people. If you look carefully you can see them as tiny little dots moving around. That should give you an idea of the massive scales here. Basically, even the small specks of lava "gravel" in these images are larger than people.
What a beautiful sight. Watching this gave me an idea, based on basically what's happening before our eyes. A t-shirt, with a large outline of Iceland, and smaller images of it's volcanoes, with the slogan, "Come Visit Iceland! Just take care, we're still under construction." lol
At a time when we needed it most, God spoke and the rocks cried out to His glory and majesty. At a time when we could see it together and stand back in awe. At a time of fear and division we can be united in wonder and bliss. Thank you, dear Daniel for playing your part.

Also if it is by any chance an act of God, why does it have to be your version of God that is responsible? Perhaps your God would be far more impressive if it got rid of covid.
Quite possibly the most amazing piece of film I've watched in years. Scott Buckley score is perfectly matched for the nuance of grandeur so perfectly filmed. It feels intimidating, relaxing, awe inspiring, majestic and worthy of respect and imagination all in one go. I can see those lava lakes that survive being filled with water and containing their own riverine eco systems one day... in the distant future. Absolutely superb. Thank you for the journey.

Yes. I have been wondering also. The scale is very difficult to determine with no man made features. It is unlike no other landscape..
