try devil res if you havent, its really good. if you press m2 at the right time during the X move it stuns for a whileeeee and its really underrated overall
theatre is not terrible at all with scythe it's actually braindead with the z into scythe crit then sonata flow on top of that 2 counters if you're kendo and using theatre counter puts pressure shift on cd.
i had a ton of success up until gold 1 ish using 50 kendo 15 speed, longsword, theater. Flowing petals follow up guarantees mortal ties, and once mortal tied, it becomes so easy to land Kageoni. Also makes sonata flow almost guaranteed, which of course is easy af to combo out of.

theatre scythe is a top build, scythe disables flashstep for 3 seconds and after scythe crit u can do x or z which will both hit
