I just read..other comments directors offered him a sum of money and he refused. Lead one to believe something sour went wrong. I also read he moved on to better his career, however to not return and use cameos makes one wonder..I so miss the Duke!!💔

I saw chemistry between Anthony and Daphne, surprisingly. If I had known nothing about the series and just watched, I would have guessed that Anthony secretly loved his own sister.

Maybe it's because she is the oldest daughter and Anthony the oldest son, and apparently, before their father's death, Anthony and Daphne were very close playing together most of the time but when their father died and he abruptably became the head of the family and the new Viscount, Anthony changed and became distant with most of his brothers and sisters, yet he still had a special afection for Daphne. I mean, through most part of Season 1 we can see Anthony overprotecting her, and also having Daphne in the highest esteem (in 1x04 he was ready to kill to Simon in a duel to defend the honor of his sister and in 1x07 he blamed Simon for "fucking everything" with Daphne)
