I actually just ordered this tonight☺️ it sounds pretty good honestly! I really wanted a good keyboard but one that was a bit cheaper, but this one is cool. Glad I ordered it. Can't wait to learn how to play my fave songs on it lol

Brandenberg Concerto number IV to showcase an electronic keyboard. What a wonderful world. I have often wondered what Bach would’ve made of these things. I think he would’ve lost his mind over them. So many possibilities. Mozart absolutely would have lost his mind over them. He reportedly went nuts over an organ once.

Well played my friend. I know this is a bottom of the barrel keyboard, but the stand and bench look well made, and the sound is not too bad. I think with some layering like piano and pads or strings and it would sound rather pleasant. Maybe you could do a run though of the dual voice and rhythm accomp styles and features?☺☺

You know what I bought it today for my niece and thanks for this video it help me to install it.
My stand is completely uneven. I’ve tried every single different combination and did it just like your video but it just stays incredibly uneven.
I just ended up putting 3 thick books under one leg up even it out. It looks like one of the two bars is extremely short.
If you have the receipt, you could take it back to the seller and ask to replace the stand. It’s probably a defective piece.
Mines too friend! So frustrating. I do not want to return it. Ill try the book idea ☹️

How do you make it sound like that?
There’s a number pad to the right of the middle screen, look at the top of the piano and it will show what the tones are so type that number into the number pad thing or press the plus until your were you want to be

You are the second video I've searched for placement of the straps and left with my question unanswered.. Do the keyboard straps face you or the back of unit?
I checked the strap, there are two holes on either sides underneath the keyboard, with metallic colour on the inside. I noticed that in order for the screw on the strap to go in the holes, the stand has to be at a very lower height. Placement of strap can be in front side as long as it reaches the holes. If the stand is at a higher height, both straps wouldn’t go in, it only fits at a lower height. We don’t use the strap as we don’t have any concerns with keyboard falling down or any running kids around.

No , unfortunately you cannot use sustain pedal for this one.

My piano is defective and please keep your receipts! Super easy to put together but the stand came out uneven!
Yeah, a lot of people are having issues with this keyboard. Seems like for the low price, it is very cheaply made.
I purchased it from flipkart as a midi keyboard for my studio. But i dont find any midi port in this keyboard.
This one unfortunately doesn’t have midi.

The first song if I am not confused belongs to Brian Crain?😮 I am very surprised with that piano, the sound is almost perfect.
If you’re referring to the music playing in the beginning of the video, that’s just a song from RUclips’s background song list. I play a song at the end and that’s the original sound of this keyboard.

Today I bought one of these for a gift. And I didn't open the plactic, I checked the keys if it works. But it seems like it's lock. When I try to press 1, it's not going down.
I checked online and on my own keyboard, there doesn’t seem to be any kind of lock. All buttons and keys should go down when pressed.

The song I was playing at the end of the video is - wind by Akeboshi (from Naruto). I only played part of the beginning , then improvised rest of the way.
Would you recommend this one or a CASIO LKS250 for a beginner

If you have the budget, then Casio lks250 is better. It has much more to offer than Alesis.

No, this one is not touch sensitive. It’s very basic keyboard good for kids or anyone who’s just trying to learn at beginners level.

I can’t get mine to make any sound if you listen closely it makes a tiny bit of sound but the volume won’t go up

I got the Alesis Talent 61 but haven't opened it yet. It looks identical to this Alesis Harmony 61. Do you know if they're the same?
I haven't tried that one , but reading the descriptions on their website and comparing them, it looks like they are pretty much the same. You can expect the same results. And this one doesn't seem to have a USB port either for hooking up on PC.
Bought this for my daughter, what settings are best for beginner
When you turn it on, the first sound is the piano - 000 to 007 , so any sound she likes in that she can learn with that sound, you can turn sustain button on to give a prolong effect to the tune your playing. Piano is a good setting to learn on for beginners, the notes come out very clear in that. But it is up to her. She can learn to play on any tone she likes. Whatever tone makes her enjoy playing and practicing.
Did u have any problems powering the keyboard. Unless I am doing something wrong with the adapter the device won't turn on
I didn’t have any issues with powering on with the adapter and the power button. May be try a different power outlet, or if you have batteries, you can try 6 AA batteries to see if it turns on. If it doesn’t, then I suggest you return or replace it with the receipt.

Thanks for posting. I recently bought the exact model. I was hoping to see how you adjust the stand and how you strapped the board to it. 😕
For the stand, you pull the knob in the centre towards you and then push it into the hole while pulling apart the legs as per the height you want. And the keyboard, I don’t strap it, I just place it on top. Hope this helps.
@@chilledreviewguy3584 You don't strap the keyboard to the stand - as the manufacturer clearly intended it to be? (Hence the straps provided!) Now you're just talking crazy. I mean, what's to stop the keyboard sliding off the stand with only the slightest of nudges and fall crashing to the floor? What are you thinking, dude?

This is only good for learning at home for beginners and kids. For stage performances, it’s not good.

We ordered it but there no sound coming out ! It is brand new
Try a different power outlet, check if the adapter is plugged in properly, or try 6 AA batteries to see if it powers on. If it still doesn’t work then I suggest returning or exchanging it with receipt
Mine is wobbly and I cannot figure out why. It's identical to yours.
It could be the stand, if you have the receipt, may be you can ask them to replace the stand or altogether.

I’m not sure what you are referring to by brackets, but the keyboard comes with the stand, seat, mic, headphones and a support to put the music Sheets on.

It was simple keyboard, thankfully it was easy. I'm sure I would have had difficulty with a complicated one. 🙂

@@bridge5308 Thanks for clarifying. It's pretty easy. Simply put the keyboard on the stand. It doesn't have any mounting mechanism. I just assembled the stand and put the keyboard on top of it. So If you have kids running around the house, I would suggest keeping it out of the way .

El tecladista toca bien, pero ese teclado es una basura, no le da verguenza a Alesis robarle el dinero a los inocentes principiantes que no saben que existen fabricas de teclados que son honestos, Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Casio, no se dejen engañar. tengo 50 años de experiencia como tecladista y nunca vi esta estafa a los compradores, de los mas de 80 teclados que tuve tengo un Alesis Vortex 2, uno de los mejores controladores del mundo, es profesional, inalambrico, con aftertouch, viene con un editor en la PC para cargarles en 25 programas los datos que se envían a las computadoras o iPad, Alesis se volvió loco. mi mas enérgico repudio a esta firma. Jóvenes músicos pregunten antes de comprar, eviten este tipo de manipulación en contra de los músicos y a favor de capitalistas inescrupulosos y sin decencia.
