This young woman is gracious and poised. Note her upright posture and regal aura. Man! A nuh my pickney and mi proud a her!!! Lol
She possesses a pleasing blend of humility and quiet confidence. She did not draw too much attention to herself re: her accomplishments and many talents. It was refreshing to encounter such an authentic, well-rounded and kind soul. She's clearly not just another "bright kid" but a decent human being.
I pray for her continued success in life and that she continues to inspire others with her light.
Kudos to her ***mom*** and dad who no doubt played an integral role in her success.

@@misterlexx2721 Howdy do Beloved! Pray all is well with you and your family! This is now when we out of many one people, use our voices, actions, deeds and powers to ensure that the government invest in our children, young people and world class educators to prevent future brain drain. Behaviour influences behaviour. If they are not being treated as the royalties they are, they will go where they are valued. The responsibility is on the government. I pray they make this a priority, an asset and not a liability. God's blessings, peace and love!

I hope more Jamaican families, regardless of class and financial status, reinforce education as a high value priority. I know it’s hard for many families who are poor or struggling, but education is the best path to lifelong success.

She is from a middle class Jamaican home. Her dad is a doctor. Middle class Jamaicans don't speak patois to their children. I don't either. It comes naturally when it's not just school that proper English is spoken.

@@misterlexx2721 Howdy do Beloved! Pray all is well with you and your family! Just wanted to note that it would have been okay if she chose to communicate in patois "patwah" as it is a part of our culture. Nonetheless, she chose to communicate in English as there is a time and place for every thing under sun and that is "aw rite tu!" So let us highlight our motto and culture "fram our lan of wood an wata" always and not try to denounce one over the other (classism). Jamaicans are versatile, we can code switch or not if we choose and when we choose. This brilliant and God blessed young lady handled herself well according to the assignment at hand. @@misterlexx2721 I was as poor as a church mouse and my daughter has never spoken patois when she was in Jamaica. I had to teach her to talk it when she turned 7 and permanently moved from Jamaica. I thought it was embarrassing that she couldn't speak a word of her native language. Nothing is wrong with a conversation in patois. It has nothing to do with middle or any class. Stop with the nonsense 😒

I read the comments about how education is vital, what are those children is going to do. With those education and there is no jobs opportunities, plus in 1974 when the pnp party government ministers them.Implemented education taxes money, to helped the less fortunate children in schools. I would like the minister of education Fabel Williams,to tell the Jamaican people them. Where is the millions of dollars deducted from workers salaries per month or weeks, where are the money going. I would like to hear ,I worked for 22 years paying education taxes when it started in 1974.

I would like to know why they changed the name of the exam from common entrance, to God who knows what the exam name. I want the ministry of Education can tell the Jamaican people, what is the significance behind the whole scenario. For kept changing the name of the local to foreign names, what is the reasons for that. Just like how those fools at ministry of Education abandoned, the Jamaica local examination,JSCE.The government ministers them also the people who incharged of the ministry of Education, they have no form of respect. For the Jamaican history at all, how can you teaching the students them and. They does not know nothing about their own country history,I guarantee you right now. If you called anyone of those high school students and, asked anyone of them. To name the parishes of Jamaica and,to name the parish capital's, they cannot tell you at all.I was watching a video and to my surprised, they were telling you. That they are bringing in some new maths and, the teachers them cannot worked it out at all.Which is a big wasted of time,it is when you goes out in the outer worlds. Then you realized, that a lot of the things you were thought in school,it is a waste of time.I know that you have some cyber bullies out there,I know when most of those schools was private.Where no black people children is allowed to go there like champion college,it was Micheal Manley opened the way. For poor people children to go to school like, George's,Champion, immaculate high School, just to mentioned a few of them.I would like to asked the government ministers them, where are the jobs opportunities for these young outstanding students.
