If Victoria wasn't there Oliver would've been choked to death and beat down till he passes out immediately by everybody who hates him. Or if she stops caring for him. But basically she manipulates William or Vincent to stop hurting Oliver by saying there brother wouldn't want this (for William it'd be Vincent who doesn't "want this" and for Vincent it'd be the other way around.) But here's the thing. If Michael or Elizabeth gained enough courage (C.C wouldn't give a crap) They'd probably choke Oliver one of these days. OH AND GUESS WHAT? VICTORIA CAN'T STOP THEM. She may be there Grandmother but Victoria's manipulative self won't be able to stop them. She ain't there mother. Just a grandmother. Then at that point Victoria can't save Oliver's helpless a**. Victoria also pretends to care for her family when she really doesn't. She acts helpless or whatever when Oliver goes insane and does things to everyone. She basically acts helpless and scared of him but doesn't let anybody hurt him. But then when anybody does anything to him she tells them to stop. She's scared of Oliver's insane side yet doesn't want him to be taught a lesson. Bro she basically puts her grandchildren and Clara and her children in danger.
