Thank you pastor Charles, it is the first time I have ever commented on something on RUclips but I felt like saying this. You can't understand how your testimony really helped me. This week I was about to give up to live anymore. I was so blinded that I didn't even consider if God really cares about me anymore. Re-watching this I noticed he spoke about male postpartum depression when he was speaking about the birth of his first baby boy. I learned that men do in fact have postpartum depression a while back but most men do not report it because our society teaches men being vulnerable with their emotions is bad. Please remember to check on the BOTH the parents once their baby is born. Depression left untreated and gone unnoticed is fatal!!
This sermon is really deep. There's so many of us going through some of these things and its so hard. I can relate to the part where he said,"...you're out here shouting Jesus is going to heal you and these are prayers for yourself..." There are times when you see people going through hurt and pain and you begin to speak to them what you're hoping to hear from others. But God is in control. He still sees us, he loves us, he provides and protects. He is the Lord our healer our provider, our redeemer, our comfort, our shield...He has done so much, he has seen it fit that we at still alive and he has amazing blessing for our lives. We keep fighting because he is in control.
I woke up this morning feeling downtrodden and discouraged to continue raising my daughter in the way she should go. I gave into my emotion for a moment, all because I'm a teenage single mother in such times as these but you know what? the devil thought he had me but GOD IS GOOD! Pastor Charles the Holy Spirit used you today. So many people including me were reminded who helps us fight by surrendering it to our Lord and savior. He gave us the how, who and why we fight. Fight spirits is a spiritual battle and the only way we do that is with Holy Spirit working through us. Thank you for this reminder because I needed to remember that this spirit was trying to take out my family for many years and that have decided that this curse will end with me. When i heard your testimony it sounds like how I felt a few times in my life and in my 30s I considered taking my life. But I started added to my spiritual tool box and the word became my source to fight. Then now 14 years later my children started the same process but the difference is was able to equipped them sooner and commission them to teach these to teach there children. I’m a single mother of two little girls I left an abusive relationship so many times I cried myself to sleep cause I didn’t have any fight in me having no one to count on run to I knew God had me but while I was in my darkest hour I felt like he had forgot about us I still get attack but I never gave in to the ugly thoughts of killing myself some how I always knew that God has something for me everyday I get up hoping and praying God gives me the courage and strength to help me get to where he needs me to be I been journaling as well in hopes that I can see that I am getting to my purpose it’s hard as a single parent cause all you want is the best for your kids I had to drop out of nursing school do to no being able to afford it all I want is to do have a purpose so my girls can see that mama did it and she never gave up.
God has a purpose for you, thank you for not giving up, May the spirit of God rest so heavily upon your life. May that fire bun away every doubt, fear and insecurity. This week I was about to give up to live anymore. I was so blinded that I didn't even consider if God really cares about me anymore. Re-watching this I noticed he spoke about male postpartum depression when he was speaking about the birth of his first baby boy. I learned that men do in fact have postpartum depression a while back but most men do not report it because our society teaches men being vulnerable with their emotions is bad. Please remember to check on the BOTH the parents once their baby is born. Depression left untreated and gone unnoticed is fatal!!

This sermon is really deep. There's so many of us going through some of these things and its so hard. I can relate to the part where he said,"...you're out here shouting Jesus is going to heal you and these are prayers for yourself..." There are times when you see people going through hurt and pain and you begin to speak to them what you're hoping to hear from others. But God is in control. He still sees us, he loves us, he provides and protects. He is the Lord our healer our provider, our redeemer, our comfort, our shield...He has done so much, he has seen it fit that we at still alive and he has amazing blessing for our lives. We keep fighting because he is in control.
I woke up this morning feeling downtrodden and discouraged to continue raising my daughter in the way she should go. I gave into my emotion for a moment, all because I'm a teenage single mother in such times as these but you know what? the devil thought he had me but GOD IS GOOD! This message has done more than encourage me, it's stopped me from making (a) foolish decision(s). I love and thank my family for always supporting me, and I thank God for choosing me even when I felt unworthy.

Pastor Charles the Holy Spirit used you today. So many people including me were reminded who helps us fight by surrendering it to our Lord and savior. He gave us the how, who and why we fight. Fight spirits is a spiritual battle and the only way we do that is with Holy Spirit working through us. Thank you for this reminder because I needed to remember that this spirit was trying to take out my family for many years and that have decided that this curse will end with me. When i heard your testimony it sounds like how I felt a few times in my life and in my 30s I considered taking my life. But I started added to my spiritual tool box and the word became my source to fight. Then now 14 years later my children started the same process but the difference is was able to equipped them sooner and commission them to teach these to teach there children. I’m a single mother of two little girls I left an abusive relationship so many times I cried myself to sleep cause I didn’t have any fight in me having no one to count on run to I knew God had me but while I was in my darkest hour I felt like he had forgot about us I still get attack but I never gave in to the ugly thoughts of killing myself some how I always knew that God has something for me everyday I get up hoping and praying God gives me the courage and strength to help me get to where he needs me to be I been journaling as well in hopes that I can see that I am getting to my purpose it’s hard as a single parent cause all you want is the best for your kids I had to drop out of nursing school do to no being able to afford it all I want is to do have a purpose so my girls can see that mama did it and she never gave up.
God has a purpose for you, thank you for not giving up, May the spirit of God rest so heavily upon your life. May that fire bun away every doubt, fear and insecurity.
