Cleaning the Carburetor on the Husqvarna 350 Chainsaw

- Have a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw that is not idling properly, seems like a fuel issue so we tear the carburetor out and give it a cleaning, for looking clean, it sure was nasty when we put the cleaner to it!
This did not solve the problem, it appears the cylinder may be damaged.

lol
u need to watch a you tube video on how to do this
Why are you holding it wide open at the end of video? You just need to adjust your carb
Thanks for the good simple video.
Thanks for the video. I’m afraid I’m in over my head diving into my chainsaw that I let sit with gas for over a month 😱 it has combustible fuel and spark. It ran when I put carb cleaner in the air intake. It won’t pump the gas from the tank! I should’ve dumped the gas out and ran it dry. I bought it used and it was dirty on the outside, so it may just be time for an overhaul.
Great video professor.
Thanks
Great Vid. However, you appeared to have both diaphragms mentioned backwards. The one with 4 screws is the metering diaphragm, and the one with the single screw isthe fuel pump diaphragm.
I was waiting for you to show how you washed the carburetor with the solvent. Then you edited that part out.
Just spray carb cleaner in every hole and orifice
Yup this was supposed to be a cleaning video and he didn’t even show that.
I wasn’t aggravated by that. Just soak it.
It's his first rodeo on this type of chain saw.
Well you made a video...might have kept your hands out of the way. Im struggling with getting the throttle back together. Yea...can't see a thing there.
Cool very instructional cheers
Why does it look like one of the 2 black needles has a bent tip? It's the shorter one that looks bent.
Got the same problem. What was the issue with yours?
Been through the carb and new plug did not sort this either.
Fixed! Adjusted Low Idle (L). 1.5 turns out.
How difficult is it to do this for beginners?
Very easy if you ask me, just take your time, set all the pieces out in order, and blow carb cleaner through everthing!
@@radozeman ok thanks
Loads of greta detail in this video but then for some reason you've not shown any of the actual cleaning! Knowing which ports are which and which direction to blow cleaning fluid through is the most important part of the whole operation. Duh.
Exactly what I thought.
Dang, this ole boy needs help himself with this carb cleaning.Should be installing a RB-122 KIT while it was apart. He needs to learn a little more before making a video........ That's just what I was thinking while watching.
I’ve cleaned lots of carbs, but first time for this one!
@@radozeman Yeehaw !
great video.very informative. keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Videography leaves alot to be desired. Did not show how to clean the carb and worked out of camera view.
Cool that you have a Swedish chainsaw 🇸🇪☺️
good chainsaws!
You have upset the Husqvarna making it think it's a stihl.
That definitely explains the problem!
Omg lol just give it to anyone.
you should do a face reveal randy lol
Right, should do that in one of my videos.
Hilarious. Most of the things you do are not visible on the video. For example, reassembling the throttle linkage. Did you ever even watch your own video?
So true. Had to laugh. Apparently never did one of these before taking the thing apart.
Very frustrating
Yeah I think this is a not to do video by the way he opened throttle that poor saw. Crazy!!
You’re lost lol
1 st
If it was a stihl then you wouldn't have a problem
Yeah sure you wouldn't 😵
Exactly.
If it was a stihl toss it out and buy another.
Jk
Stihl, husqvarna, and redmax are the three best saws
Husqvarna=Glorified Poulan
I’d beg to differ on that one!
I was just messing around,a saw is only going to be as good as the person who is operating it,but if you take a look at some of the older Poulan counter vibe saws you can see slot similarities, I guess technically if they made newer Poulan saws "full crank" they would last slot longer!
I am speechless. WTF?
For safety, always start with chain break on.
