    notes with timestamps:
0:01 This speech was made in Koblenz (Rheinland-Pfalz) on 07.08.20. The entire speech was 48 minutes long. Curio also spoke about propaganda in education and the media, immigration and crime, and the EU.
I will try to make at least more video from this speech, probably the part about education (which immediately followed the section I used in this video).
The entire speech (in German) can be viewed here ruclips.net/video/p76BSf8k67k/видео.html
Gottfried Curio is the AfD's spokesperson on domestic policy (crime, migration etc.) in the Bundestag.
He is effectively Germany's "shadow" interior minister.
0:04 the banner on the right reads "Mut zur Wahrheit, Ändern Sie nicht Ihre Meinung, Ändern Sie die Politik" = "Courage to speak the truth, Don't change your opinion, Change politics"
0:05 fateful election: the next German federal election (September 2021)
0:20 destruction of the constitutional state: the idea that the government is acting outside the law (no longer constrained by the constitution).
The AfD often say the government is doing this with regards to migration (opening the border in 2015) and the EU (covering debts of other countries).
0:41 Armin Laschet (centre-right, CDU), the current minister-president of NRW. Minister-president = head of the state government (prime minister of the state). NRW is the largest of Germany's 16 states.
0:48 fought up to knives: ie. fought with everything, up to and including knives. This sounds worse in English than it does in German.
Germans use this phrase a lot, it is similar in tone to "fight tooth and nail". Nonetheless, considering the spectre of political violence, it was an irresponsible comment to make.
1:09 squandering of money in Brussels: possibly a reference to the various EU financial measures implemented to help countries affected by coronavirus, or possibly a reference to the new multi-year EU budget agreed recently
2:20 Immanuel Kant: I think Curio is being a bit disingenuous here. Even by the standards of the time, Kant had some pretty strong views on race en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanuel_Kant#Racis
2:31 the greats of the nation: the great / famous people of the nation
2:57 the Bismarck memorial in Hamburg: some pictures here de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bismarck-Denkmal_(Hamburg)
    3:22 Peng: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peng_Collective
3:38 Tear This Shit Down: www.tearthisdown.com
3:56 historian Zimmerer: Jürgen Zimmerer, professor of African history at Hamburg University
    4:05 SPD: Germany's main centre-left party
4:35 Zimbabwe Vice-President (Kembo Mohadi): here's the clip ruclips.net/video/RbvTk_ANZe0/видео.html Mohadi is code-switching between English and an African language but you can hear "bottle store...general dealer, that was it"
4:56 ZDF is one of the public broadcasters
5:05 plane with a banner: this happened during a Manchester City v Burnley premier league game in May ruclips.net/video/LvOvh9aV3AE/видео.html
5:35 compulsory fees: TV license fees
6:05 Moor Heads: these are generally some form of large, round, chocolate covered sweet, with a white, creamy filling.
Some of these can be quite fancy, with elaborate decorations of faces etc. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohrenkopf_(Geb%C3%A4ck)
I think the versions in Migros were plain.
It's worth pointing out that German has two words for Moor: "Maure", which is used for the actual, historical Moors, and "Mohr" which has the same root, but is used differently.
Mohr has a similar meaning to the English word "blackamoor", an antiquated, vague term for people with dark skin. This link is in German but has some good photos showing how Mohr is used de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohr
"Moor Heads" uses the second term.
6:10 Möhringen: you can see the coat of arms here de.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6hringen_(Stuttgart)
I'm not sure what the etymology (root) of the name Möhringen is, but "Möhringen" (the district), "Mohr" (Moor) and "Möhre" (carrot) all sound similar.
6:31 "black angry" = really angry. "a black future" = a bleak future. Curio is talking about various German phrases which are now problematic.
7:05 to remove the roots to "our own": I know this sounds a bit clumsy in English, but I thought it was important to use Curio's exact words here.
"our own" means the same in German as it does in English ("we need to look after our own" etc.) : our own community, our own people.
I could have made the meaning clearer by adding "people" but Curio may have left out this word (Volk) deliberately because of its historical connotations.
He is saying the purpose of the racism debate is to remove the roots Germans have to their own ancestors, because this will make Germans less concerned about immigration.

We can't allow cultural marxism to destroy our precious cultural identities, histories, and Western ways of life. If that isn't worth dying to defend...WHAT IS?????

"Deutschland, Deutschland über Alles". For a citizen of Germany, I like the idea of
that. My German wife lived the last of her years here in the States with me, but
she never lost her love and respect for her native land. I appreciate the loyalty of
that, und ich habe immer noch Hoimweh nach dem Schwabenland.

I know that there are sane Germans, but in general, Germany really needs to get its shit together. It's such a beautiful country with such a strong and powerful culture. I've spent a few Christmases in Germany and they were so mesmerizing. I really felt being in the heart of Europe. Why lay it to waste? Germans should be proud that they have the ability to pass their culture forward...

about a week. the language in this was quite difficult. also, videos like this always takes longer because there isn't an official transcript (unlike speeches in parliaments). it can be tedious trying to figure out exactly what is being said at times.
