When I enjoyed the performmance of JOJ，there always were 'Ramin' everywhere！I really hate someone who made comparison all the time. Plz just enjoy their voices or just go back to your 'Ramin' part！
Ramin is extremely overrated. The reason people think he's the "best" is because he was in the rah concert which was professionally shot and released on dvd. Had John been cast as the phantom in that he would have the same hype but much more deserved. I'm 25 and never cared about poto nor did I know ramin I became interested when I heard the original soundtrack and JOJ he's my phantom and it breaks my heart I never had the chance to see him live.
And I hate to say this, but Ramin did the best "Take the boat. Swear to me never to tell... of the secrets you... of this Angel in Hell! GO! GO NOW AND LEAVE ME!" in the 25th anniversary
he's older and has more experience and his voice has matured a bit more. plus his voice is a lot more operatic which fits the character more. i do love ramin's phantom though.
You and those others are so obnoxious. There is so much more to John & Katie than that. They are heartbreakingly beautiful together, the best pairing, they actually matched the phantom and christine unlike other casts people gush over. John & Katie SHOULD have been the rah concert leads. biggest injustice in the history of musical theatre what they did to John, he IS Erik.
Michael WILL BE THE ONLY ONE AND TRUE PHANTOM!!!! PERIOD!!!! END OF STORY!!!! There are others that are as good but Michael is the best. I got very lucky to see him in L.A.
The word flesh is just very difficult to sing while pronouncing all the letters especially when it's sung high, sometime you have to sacrifice fully pronouncing a word too make it easier and sound better. I don't know how to explain, if you try to sing it you'll see it's hard to pronounce it with the L and everything
John Owen Jones deserved so much better than this travesty production. John & Katie SHOULD have been the 25th concert cast, they are the best pairing ever. cameron mackintosh is a mercenary scumbag.
