Batswana did choose BDP in 2019 and in 2024 they chose UDC,, so learn that in politics there is always win or lose like President Boko said sometimes in democracy people become angry and reject you even though they put you in that position of power. Learn to accept defeat with dignity like how BDP did, they have set a high standards of bowing out gracefully.

That is why he was not even afraid of stepping down in dignity. I believe Your Excellency that you were behind the downfall of Masisi through your international private campaign. Which is why the Botswana diamond was not bought, hence the fall of the economy. To Ex President Masisi, one day Batswana will see where you were leading them to. They shall remember your. We took ANC to 39% in 30 years. Botswana removed BDP in 60 years. We are the youngest democracy, Botswana is the oldest.
Our context and that of Botswana differs greatly! Considering factors such as our population size, diversity in race & ethicity, the many parties we have, etc, we did our part as voters. It's not our fault that some opposition parties betrayed voters & chose to form a grand coalition with the ANC.
Opposition parties failed to consolidate against the ANC.
Hopefully 2029 will be the final nail in the coffin for the ANC.

Even if she followed the proper procedures, it didn’t look right. However, it didn't look right. Masisi also made over 50 international trips in less than four years, all while advising against wasting government funds (and there is nothing to show for those trips). Ian Khama was bad to our democracy. He disregarded the rule of law and there were allegations of crimes (e.g., brutal execution of Kalafatis the BDF's Military Intelligence). So, he was not as good as he wants to portray himself. During his tenure, a lot of Batswana’s expectations were so low that they were happy with just a loaf of bread! Then Masis came along. What a stubborn president! He dismissed all legitimate corruption concerns involving his family and ministers, showing lack of respect for Batswana. In my opinion, both Masisi and Khama were among the worst leaders in our relatively short history. But I hated Masisi's arrogance and power hunger that he had, not listening to Batswana's concerns.
