really small thing I've noticed, imagine how hard it is to make choreography that is flattering to both males and females? Like, there's certain moves girls can do with their hips in choreographies that may feel stiff for guys to do, or vice versa, but this choreography emphasizes both differences while feeling cohesive and I appreciate it.
Edit: Wow 4.5k likes. Nice! I do want to clarify that I don't think guys or girls specifically 'own' certain moves, but they accentuate different things. Girls have hips and generally more flowy choreo, while guys have more abrupt, hip-hop and aggressive choreo in kpop. I simply think it was really cool they were able to blend both of those dynamics into one cohesive choreography! Girls can do guy choreo and vice versa and I think that's very true (I really like Moonbyul for this reason).

KARD has been on my watchlist everytime they make a comback, due to the fact that they are coed group. Like gives some props for the choreographer for making these masterpiece choreography..
It's kinda sad tho, if you think about it. Ever since I got into KPOP (back in 2014) I learned that they given certain dances or dance moves for genders, but dance should not be based on gender. However I do understand why they do that because certain dances bring out something or certain aspects for certain genders. But technically dance moves or cheorgraphy shouldn't be gender based in my opinion. : / : )

I am not fan but I have so much respect for kard they are one of those groups who sing live in music shows without any backing vocals. This group deserves more recognition they work so hard and their comebacks are always top notch.
They have used backing vocals, it's just that they aren't as loud as some others and they do sing the whole thing rather than lip sync, but even if they always used them and they were louder I don't see why it's a big deal anyway, it's hard as hell to dance like that and stay in tune!

The fact that so many groups have been singing live in MCountdown comeback stages when it used to be the most lipsynced stage ever is just awesome to have this year. KARD has been trained for live stages with all their Latin American tours early in their career so I’m not even surprised at this performance quality

I'm actually confused about Jiwoo's hair, idk which one is her real shade right now bc since the comeback teaser her hair color has been b&w, b&teal, b&red, and now full on black. not that I mind about the changes, she still looks absolutely fierce with all of them.
I'm not complaining about the hair, I love it, also it lets her keep growing without ravaging her scalp, probably a much needed break after bleaching for so long.
She now has black hair, she hasn't had black hair since predebut so for 4 years let's enjoy her black hair

BM produced this song and made Somin listen to it. He said he was nervous to ask somin if she likes the beat because she barely likes any of his songs since she thinks it doesn't fit her vocals. But Somin agreed that the song was great so BM asked her if she would want to record it with the demo,Somin agreed which made BM super happy, he was even so proud that Somin slayed the demo. This just shows how pure their friendship is 💕

The Jiwoo & Somin vocal dynamic is just really good. Somin has a more vibrant & powerful sound typical of a kpop main vocal role while Jiwoo has a very full, textured & soulful sound to her voice. The bounce off each other nicely & this song takes advantage of that dynamic especially

pls don't assume the worst and scare people. just because a company is low on money doesn't mean their groups will disband. All companies (even the big 3, just not as often) reach a period where they're struggling financially, but they'll come back from it, this is a tough time financially for everyone especially because of the pandemic. But they'll be okay, just keep supporting them. Also, just because a member is doing military service, doesn't mean a disbandment is coming, the remaining members will just do solo or unit work. (referencing to an above comment) don't worry :)
